Ermac in Equestria

Chapter three: Nightmare Moon returns part 1

When night fell, Ermac was walking towards the Town Hall of Ponyville for the Summer Solstice celebration, but when set his front hooves on to the floor of the Town Hall, Ermac started feeling a dark and evil presence heading towards Ponyville. 'There's something evil heading this way,' Ermac thought to himself as he opened the doors to find that everypony in Ponyville had come to see Princess Celestia in the flesh.

"Citizens of Ponyville," the mayor of Ponyville called out all the ponies young and old, "Today like always has gone as planed to make this Summer Solstice celebration possible with you're help," as Ermac saw Twilight looking up at the moon with a worried face. "Now here she is, the ruler of Equestria, Princess Celestia," she announced as the curtains opened to find that Princess Celestia was nowhere to be found in sight.

Then out of nowhere came a large cloud of dark blue smoke and started to form into a black female Alicorn with the same dark blue mane and tail as her smoke form and she wore a bright blue armor plating on the top of her head. "Ah my loyal subjects it has been far too long since I was imprisoned in the moon hasn't it?" the black Alicorn said to all the ponies of Ponyville seeing their confused faces, "Did you not hear the legends or the signs?" she asked them.

"Nightmare Moon," Twilight called out as Nightmare Moon looked at her with an evil smirk.

"Ah so somepony remembers my name," Nightmare Moon said, "This time I will plunge Equestria into eternal darkness and not you or you're Princess will do a thing to stop me." She began an evil laugh as her mane and tail swirled around each other with lightning coming out from the outside.

A few minutes later:

When Ermac, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie made it back to Twilight's library, Twilight explained to the others about how she knew about Nightmare Moon. "Well what are we going to stop Nightmare Moon then?" Rainbow Dash asked Twilight.

"We need the Elements of Harmony to stop Nightmare Moon," Twilight replied as she grabbed the book on the Elements of Harmony, "But the Elements are in an old ruin in the Everfree Forest."

"We have to get these Elements of Harmony then," Ermac said the others.

"By we ya do mean all seven of us, right?" Applejack asked him.

"We do mean that, yes," Ermac replied.

Minuets later inside the Everfree Forest:

As Ermac and the girls were walking through the Everfree Forest, he was thinking about what his life would be if he never fought for Shao Khan (if he would have any life in the first place), but he was still thinking about what Princess Celestia meant by when she said that he needed to learn friendship. "Hey Ermac," Rainbow Dash said to him snapping out of his train of thought, "Are you okay there?" she asked him.

"Yes we're fine, Rainbow Dash," Ermac replied to the sky blue Pegasus.

"Are ya sure there?" Applejack asked him as she walked up towards him, "'Cause you ain't said a single word since we enter the Everfree Forest."

"Yes, we are fine," Ermac replied to Applejack as they continued to walk towards the ruins that hold the Elements of Harmony.

A few minutes later:

After minutes of walking through the Everfree Forest, Ermac and the girls could see that the ruins was just up ahead. But then Ermac stopped them as he and Twilight looked down the cliff of canyon full of fog. "How are we gonna get over to the other side of this here canyon?" Applejack asked the others, "Because it looks too far to jump over there."

"Hey girls, I found a bridge over here," Pinkie Pie called out them as she pointed at the bridge, "But it looks like that the bridge broke off the other side of the canyon."

"I'll tie it back in place," Rainbow Dash said as she flue down into the canyon somehow managing to grab the other end of one of the ropes to the bridge and flue up to the other side to tie the ends back in place.

But as she was about to finish tying the last rope back in place a voice called out saying, "Rainbow Dash..." Rainbow Dash looked behind her and saw what she thought was the Wonderbolts, but they were wearing purple and black suits instead of their normal suits with blue colors, but Rainbow Dash didn't know this at all.

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight called out to Rainbow Dash, but when Rainbow turned to look Twilight, one of the Shadowbolts eyes began to glow making the fog around the bridge get in between Rainbow Dash and the others. Ermac suspected that this would be one of Nightmare Moon's tricks and so he used his powers to hover over the canyon and landed on the other side.

"We know it is you Nightmare Moon," Ermac said to the Shadowbolts, "We are many, you are but one soul."

"If you want to fight me and die by me, then so be it," Nightmare Moon said in her Shadowbolt form as she and Ermac prepared for mortal combat. Nightmare Moon made the first attack as one of her Shadowbolt forms charged at Ermac, but Ermac managed to stop the Shadowbolt form in time with his powers and kicks the form into the air. But then another Shadowbolt form manages to hit Ermac in the stomach with enough speed that Ermac was thrown off his hooves and land back first on the ground. Ermac manage to recover and gets back up, uses his powers to charge at the second Shadowbolt form, and struck that form in the stomach sending the form crashing into a nearby tree.

Ermac then looked up to see the first Shadowbolt form falling back down, so he used his powers to fly towards the Shadowbolt form, and punches the form forcing it and him to fall to the ground at a faster rate of speed. When they hit the ground, Ermac was got back up on his hoofs, but the Shadowbolt form was down for the count with only one last Shadowbolt form to take care of. Ermac walked towards the third form and was ready to strike it down, but then the form somehow manage to punch Ermac in the center of his body with incredible speed and kicked him to the ground. But Ermac managed to recovered from the hits he took from the third Shadowbolt form, stopped the form from a third attack by using his powers to levitate it off the ground, and then preformed his x-ray move by using his power to forcing the form to slam head first into the ground, then he hovers over the form, and crashes into the form's back with such force that it nearly broke the form's back in the process.

"Now, Nightmare Moon, we shall finish you here, and now," Ermac said to Nightmare Moon as she turned back into her Alicorn form and he prepared to finish off Nightmare Moon once and for all. Until Ermac started sensing another soul within Nightmare Moon. It was young blue female Alicorn with a bright blue mane and tail. 'There's another soul within Nightmare Moon?' he asked in his thoughts, "So that's why Princess Celestia meant by when she said that we needed to learn friendship," he said as he restraint himself from his attack.

"Celestia's sister is no longer here," Nightmare Moon said to Ermac furiously, "I'm in her place now," as she turned into her smoke form and flue off into the dark of night.
