Ermac in Equestria

Chapter four: Nightmare Moon returns part 2

Ermac watched in complete shock as Nightmare Moon flue off into the darkness of the Everfree Forest in her dark blue smoke form. "Why did you spare her, Ermac?" Rainbow Dash asked him as she finished tying the last rope to the other side of the canyon.

"There is another soul within Nightmare Moon," Ermac replied to Rainbow Dash as the rest of the girls came to the other side of the canyon, "This soul seems to be the opposite of Nightmare Moon and Nightmare Moon said that soul was Princess Celestia's younger sister."

"Princess Celestia never told me that she had little sister," Twilight said to Ermac, "But anyway we must get the Elements of Harmony."

"Yeah," Rainbow Dash said, "We have to get these Elements now while Nightmare Moon is trying to recover from the wounds you dished out on her."

When they walked into the old ruin, they saw the stones of the Elements of Harmony before their own eyes, but Ermac wasn't as nearly as awe struck as the girls were. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy then flue towards the stones, each grabbed one element stone at a time, and gently placed all five element stones on the ground in the shape of a circle. "Stand back," Twilight said to Ermac and the girls, "I don't know what will happen," as they did so and Twilight then used her magic on the element stones.

"Come on now ya'll," Applejack said the others, "She needs to concentrate." The rest of the girls followed Applejack out through the door, but Ermac didn't follow them for he seen the need to protect Twilight while she was using her magic to try and activate the five elements, but he kept his distance about ten or fourteen feet away from Twilight while she was busy concentrating on what she was doing.

While Twilight was busy on trying to get the five elements to activate and rest of the girls were outside, Ermac began sensing Nightmare Moon presence again, but in the darkness of the Everfree Forest was impossible for him to see Nightmare Moon's smoke forms. Then out of nowhere Nightmare Moon's smoke form rushed right by him and then without Twilight noticing her swirled around the five elements in a form of a small twister. When Twilight opened her eyes, she saw Nightmare Moon was going to take the element stones as she said to herself, "The elements," as she jumped into Nightmare Moon's smoke form and both them and the element stones were telaported to who knows where. Ermac tried to get to Twilight before she, Nightmare Moon, and the element stones got telaported, but he was too late.

Just then, the other girls came inside to find Ermac still here, but there was no sign of Twilight or the element stones anywhere. "Ermac, where's Twilight?" Rarity asked him.

Soon Ermac began to sense Twilight's presence in the second ruin as he said to the girls, "She is in that second ruin," as he pointed at the ruin he was talking about with the ruin glowing from the inside.

"Then come on ya'll," Applejack said as she and the other girls ran towards the ruins, but Ermac used his powers to rocket himself into the ruins.

When Ermac made it to the second ruin, he saw Twilight and Nightmare Moon with the element stones through the window. He then burst through the window by using his powers and lands on his hooves. "We will not allow to plunge Equestria into an eternal darkness," Ermac said to the black Alicorn, "We shall break you."

"Not if I break you first," Nightmare Moon said to him as she and Ermac prepared for another round of mortal combat. Ermac was the first one to attack as he used his powers to rocket towards Nightmare Moon with a punch in the stomach throwing Nightmare Moon into one of the walls of the ruin.

Nightmare Moon managed to recover from Ermac's attack, gets back up on her hooves, and roared, "I will destroy you!" She began to attack Ermac with every ounce of her strength, but Ermac was much faster than Nightmare Moon for her anger gets the best of her and Ermac takes the advantage by dodging every attack that Nightmare Moon threw out and he now starts throwing his attacks at Nightmare Moon. Most of these hits Ermac threw at Nightmare Moon were nearly fatal, but Ermac tried not to make all these attacks fatal or he would destroy Nightmare Moon and Princess Celestia's younger sister's soul would be lost forever.

Ermac then knocked Nightmare Moon to the ground as he said to her, "It is over Nightmare Moon, we have won."

As Nightmare Moon got back up, she said to Ermac, "No, this is not over," as she shattered the elements stones to pieces.

Just then Twilight and Ermac began to hear the other girls coming towards them. Twilight soon felt a spark and she knew what this spark was. "You think you can destroy the Elements of Harmony just like that?" Twilight asked Nightmare Moon, "Well you're wrong, because the spirits of the Elements of Harmony are right here." The element stone pieces began to float towards the girls.

Author's late disclaimer: The rest of you guys know what happens to Nightmare Moon in episode two so I'm just gonna let this slide out. I'm sorry, but I just don't think I can do the whole thing.

Ermac watched as a rainbow began to swirl around Nightmare Moon. There was a blinding light forming around the girls. "Ah my head," Rainbow Dash exclaimed as she rubbed her head.

"Everypony okay?" Applejack asked the others. They all nodded in response.

"I knew you could do it," a voice said out of thin air as the sun came up and Princess Celestia herself appears before the girls and Ermac.

Twilight's new friends bowed before the Princess as Twilight ran towards her teacher, "Princess Celestia."

"Twilight Sparkle," the Princess said to her faithful student, "I knew you could do it." She then noticed Ermac and she stepped towards him, "I knew you would find out what I meant Ermac by you had to learn friendship," she said to Outworlder turned pony.

"We could not have done it without you're student and her new friends, Princess," Ermac said as he looked back to see what looked like Celestia's younger sister was back to her old self again.
