Twilight Does Things

"Dear Twilight Sparkle,

As you know, I've been, with Luna, really busy lately with some issues at Cantertot.

I am very sorry for not being able to send you letters those past two months, and I hope you're doing well.

The real reason I sent you this letter though is because I need your help.

I need you to go to the Sugarcube Corner, and get me an ice cream. It is of the utmost importance. Tell Pinkie that I want : 'that one flavor'. She'll know what I mean. After that, teleport to my throne room, and give it to me.

I have complete confidence in your abilities, my faithful student.

Twilight couldn't believe her eyes. She had to buy an ice cream? That's it? Not saving Equestria, or stopping an ancient evil, but buying an ICE CREAM? Even though she was upset, she didn't want to disappoint the princess, and so, she left the library.

"Hello, Pinkie." said Twilight grumpily, entering the local bakery.

"Oh, hi Twilight!" said Pinkie, giving Twilight a cheerful smile. "What brings you here today? Not that you need a reason to come see me! Oh! Let me guess! You're here to learn the ancient ways of the 'thowingopartyojutsu'? Or maybe you just wanted-"

"No Pinkie," Twilight cut her off, starting to get annoyed by her antics "I'm here to buy an ice cream for Princess Celestia. She could have asked someone else but oh no! It had to be her faithful student that does the job. Anyway, she said that she wanted 'that one flavor'. Why is she so cryptic? It's not as if the world is about to end. Pinkie? What's wrong?" asked Twilight concerned of Pinkie's sudden seriousness.

"There is no time to lose Twilight Sparkle," Stated Pinkie in a tone that no one could have imagined her using. "Take this and hurry. Time is of the essence," she said, giving Twilight a rainbow colored ice cream from apparently out of nowhere.

"Uh, thanks? I'll be going now bye," said Twilight hastily, running out of the building.

After being a safe enough distance from the pink pony, Twilight stopped running, exhausted.

'What was wrong with her? She was acting even weirder than usual...I guess I'm just going to have to accept this and move on, to preserve my sanity.' Twilight thought. Now that she had obtained the odd looking ice cream, she used all her might to cast the teleporting spell.

FLASH

Slowly opening her eyes, Twilight found herself in the throne room.

"Princess, I have your ice-WHAT IS THAT?" she yelled, suddenly noticing the battle unfolding before her.

The princess was firing spells at a terrifying clown-like demon. The demon was firing back using his own hair and eyebrows as projectiles.

"Quickly Twilight! You must throw the Cream of Harmony into the beast's mouth while I'm stalling it! It's our only hope!" Princess Celestia cried out.

"What," Twilight deadpanned.

"Just do it!" yelled Celestia. Twilight obeyed, and threw the ice cream into the abomination's mouth. The demon quickly swallowed.

"Is cold! You all so mean!" the demon yelled, his eyes teary. And just like that he dissipated in smoke.

The day after, a party was thrown in the castle, to celebrate Twilight's accomplishment.

"Thanks to Twilight, Equestria has been saved once again!" said Celestia to the crowd of ponies before her.

Thousands started to sing a song about Twilight's heroic actions. Twilight could only muster one word:
