Twilight Does Things

"Dear Twilight Sparkle,

As you know, I've been busy with political issues and other things...but I still try to find the time to send you these letters.

I hope you're doing well, as last time I saw you, you were hitting your head on a wall crying : 'God purge me of my sins!'

The real reason I'm writing this letter is that I need your help.

I need you to NOT start a revolution to overthrow me. I have complete confidence in your non-abilities.

Celestia the XVI."

"Huh." said Twilight with a shrug, throwing piece of paper in the pile of other letters.

"Why did the princess send me so many cryptic letters lately?" she questioned, searching for the real meaning the letter.

'She must be testing me! To see if I can start a Revolution by myself!' she thought, not speaking, in case a spy assigned by Celestia was listening.

'I'm going to make a speech that nopony will ever forget. And after that, Celestia will surely think that I'm the best student she could ever have! She'll be so proud of me!'

At the town square, she waited for sufficient amount of ponies to stop by, before starting her speech:

"Ponies of Ponyville. I am here today to tell you the truth, and nothing else. The princess you've worshiped for so long is actually a fraud. That's right! She lied about everything!" The crowd muttered, unsure of what do think.

"The promises she made never were fulfilled, and the ponies who tried to reason with her were turned to stone! You heard me right: every statue in the royal garden were in fact real, breathing ponies." Her audience gasped.

"Even now she is probably lying, deceiving, scheming and doing evil things for her own selfish needs!"

"We need to overthrow this evil! We need to unit ! We need to take our flanks to Canterlot, and turn her to stone, as she did to others! Who's with me?"

The crowed shouted in agreement.

"You can count on us, Twilight!"  yelled Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and even Fluttershy.

"Very well. Let's go."

Arriving to Canterlot, the ponies prepared themselves to the battle to come.

"ATTAAAACK!" yelled Twilight as loud as she could.

The battle was spectacular. Spells were flying everywhere, pegasi were battling in the air, and ponies from the city joined the revolution as well.

Finally, after two hours, the war was over. The royal guards were defeated, and the ones that remained standing, ran away from the city.

"Only one pony to go," said Twilight, turning to face the palace

As the doors of the castle opened, everypony readied themselves.

When the doors were finally opened, the Goddess of the Sun came out, and the tension was unimaginable.

"Twilight. You have started a war against a goddess. It is a battle you cannot win." said Celestia, with her usual motherly tone.

"Your evilness ends here,  Princess Celestia! Equestria needs a new leader, one that is kind, smart, and purple !"

"Do you really think you have the power to beat me? How laughable." said Celestia mockingly.

"I may be not powerful enough on my own...but with the power of friendship on the other hoof..." said Twilight while starting to charge up the Elements of Harmony with her friends.

"No! Twilight, please! Don't do it! No! NOOOO!" yelled Celestia as the rainbow of friendship hit her.

At last, the battle was over. The ponies celebrated by throwing a tea party.

"Now that my task is over, we should probably turn her back to normal, so that  she can go back to ruling Equestria."

"What?! You did not really believe that she was a tyrannical ruler?" asked Rarity, shocked.

"Of course not! This was just a test she assigned me with, to see if I could start a revolution by myself." said Twilight smiling happily.

"..." A silence loomed over the room.

"Twilight," said Spike "I'm pretty sure you did not read the letter properly. The letter said to NOT start a revolution !"

"Oh." said Twilight neutrally. "Well then I guess, I'm going..." she was cut off by a terrifying shout.

"WHAT HAVE THOU DONE TO OUR SISTER, TWILIGHT SPARKLE !" yelled Luna, her voice filled with anger, and her eyes glowing white.

"Well, you see, it's a funny story, really. It all started when..." again, she was cut off by the princess of the night.

"THOU WILL SUFFER FOR THIS! WE WILL...what are thou doing? No please don't. Stop! STOP!" she yelled as an all too familiar rainbow hit her right in the face.

"All hail the Queen! All hail the Queen!" shouted the whole city of Canterlot, their eyes empty of souls.

"I could get used to this." beemed Twilight, with an evil smile.

"Twilight..."

"Next, I'll cast my mind control spell over the entire world !"

"Twilight!"

"All will bow before me!"

"TWILIGHT!"

Twilight woke up from her pleasent dream. She was back in Ponyville. Spike was standing next to her bed, with a look of concern.

"Twilight, you've been sleeping all morning! You need to write the princess a friendship report, and you then you need to..."

Twilight sighted, not listening to Spike, "I hate mornings."
