Once upon a time, when Equestria was new, there lived a King and a Queen.

They raised the sun each day, and each night replaced it with the moon.

The ponies they rules over were healthy and happy.

They loved their King and Queen, and they loved them in return.

The two rulers had two beautiful foals.

One with the beauty of the day, and one with the beauty of the night.

They laughed and played all day, and they too were loved by all.

But on one rainy night, a spirit appeared, and killed the Queen during her sleep.

Since then, the once kind King was no more, and in his place, a tyrant was born.

Ponies were hungry, and died by the hundreds.

But the Tyrant was heartless, and did nothing to save them.

The two daughters, saddened by his change of heart, tried to reason with him, but to no avail

Angry, the Tyrant banished them deep down in a dark forest, hoping that they would get eaten.

One hundred years passed, and most of pony kind had died, merely a hundred survived.

But one one sunny day, the two daughters, having grown into beautiful mares, faced their father.

A battle took place, and the two alicorns came out victorious.

Bringing harmony back to land, pony kind was saved, and in time, was back to it's glory.

Everypony was happy, and they lived happily ever after.
