The Princess and the Spirit

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

One day, a princess sitting in her garden

Saw on a spirit flying by.

He was smiling cheerfully at her

But having him gone she would prefer

.

"Hello princess, I was wondering

If by any chance I could live in this land

With all your smilling ponies

Without having them to cower before me."

The princess replied

"Be gone, monster !

Let us live in peace and go back to where you once came."

The spirit, sadden, left without a word.

The day after, the spirit flew by

"Hello princess, could you please reconsider

I am all alone living in a dark place

With no friend and company.

I may be ugly

But that's not the real me."

The princess was disgusted

"Foul beast, you don't deserve to live here

Use your wings to dissapear.

Having you around makes me sick

As I know you're a liar, and this is just a trick."

The spirit, angry, left without a word.

The day after, the spirit flew by

"Princess I'm going to ask one last time

Accept me as a friend, I won't accept this crime !

Let me live in your kingdom, I beg of you

Please think this though !"

The princess was really mad

"That's it ! I've had enough !

You really think you're so tough ?

I'll protect my ponies from you

If that's the last thing I do !"

The spirit, his last tread of hope gone, left without a word

The day after, Equestria became a blur.

"You were right princess

Being a monster is so much fun !

I can put a buffalo in a dress

And turn a pegasus into a nun.

I love this new me !

This is all to majestic

I can do anything, take a pick.

But now that I control all

You must feel so small.

My vengence will be sweet

So please, take a seat !

My feelings of loneliness are gone

Now that I've won."
