Buck sat in the back of his friends pickup truck on the way to his fathers house. "Hey, Joe, I really 'preciate ya'll doin' this for me, pa' woulda killed me if i'd been late comin' home." All his friend did was nod, that's it? No 'thanks for the appreciation?' Okay... Buck sat in the heat of the summer, taking in the humid air as the truck zoomed past the country landscape. man, wouldn't it be jus' damn cool to be sent to a place where it isn't harmful humans, some place peaceful, non hostile. Though Buck, and the the truck came to a  slam and a stop.

"Hey! Buck! engines steamin'! got any water?"

Buck shook his head, and looked at his greasy face in the truck's back window. His soft green eyes and mottled brown hair . and his sort of ovular face, he wasn't the best lookin' guy, but he did what he could to look good and be appreciated, which he wasn't. "Why... why am i so.. hated?" Spoke Buck, thinking aloud, but not too loud. "Is it the way i look? Act? Think?" Buck had enough, and tossed his friend the water bottle he had with him. Yes.. he did have water... he was just so caught up in thinking.

The hood closed and his friend opened the driver's seat door, motioning for Buck to get back in the right position as to not fall out. Buck did so and continued his rather harsh thinking. The truck went of and on and as did Buck, who just couldn't get his mind off of why everyone hated him. His father, the most. Ever since his mother died. Buck was just facing the facts. Even if he was sent to heaven, God would hate him, along with the rest of the angels. It was just so frustrating.

The truck entered a steep dirt road hill, hitting so many bumps on the way down. "H-h-hey! Jeffry? I-i-is this s-safe?" Buck had a really hard time speaking past the thumps and bumps the truck was hitting.

"Course it's safe ya' dote! If it wan't would I be drivin' ya' here?" His Jeffry looked a little angry that Buck doubted his driving skills, and Buck left it at that.

"Sorry..." said Buck. Way too quiet to hear. The road became a little bumpier, and they were only halfway down the hill. jeez, what was with this? First the engine overheats, now the road feels like the damn moon! Thought Buck. Then came the scary part. POP POP POP was... that the... engine? Thought Buck superstitiously. Next he knew the truck was sliding off the road, and the axles were creaking and the exhaust was sputtering. The truck slammed into a tree, sending Buck flying into the air. Next thing he knew, everything was white.
