The Reign Of Chaos Begins

                  Chapter 2

         Yesterday

Princess Celestia sat on her throne going about her daily, royal buisness. She would recive updates on the wellbeing of her citizans, raise the sun each morning and of course recive letters from Twilight and her friends on their discoveries about the magic of friendship. Celestia just finished reading a report of the well being of Cloudsdale. She looked out  the window to the left of her wich overlooked Ponyville and the everfree forest. She sighed wishing she could have a normal life for a day or two.

"Sometimes I wish I were a regular pony," Celestia thought to herself. " Doing simple everyday things, having fun with friends and not being glorified by everypony all the time."

Celestia stood up from her throne and walked the path of stairs that led to the floor. She walked by her guards who just stood still as a rock looking forward as she walked past them.

" I wonder what Luna is up to," Celestia thought. "We haven't talked for a few days ever since Twilight returned from her trip to the human world to retive her crown from Sunset Shimmer. I'd love to spend time with her fow awhile and just have fun like sisters do."

Celestia walked down the halls of canterlot castlel; She would pass by ocassional guards and pictures of family and close friends. As she got closser she began to hear laughter emerged from her sisters closed door and the sound of gaming technology.

" Playing video games again Luna," Celestia said to herself ina whisper with a soft chuckle.

Celestia raised her hoof to knock on her sister door when she heard a fimular voice speaking to her sister.

"Haha! Luna I win again I told you playing as Kirby against Sonic was a terible choice. I got the smash ball four times while you only got it ounce!" Discord laughed as luna let out an annoyed groan.

"We shall see about that Discord! It is not fair if we play on your custom stage of Chaos, I can hardley move without taking thirty damage. So this time We shall battle on Ponymon stadiam instead." Luna argued back at Discord.

"Fine then but it will hardly make a difference." Discord bragged.

The two proceeded with their game as Celestia who was still behind Luna's door was shocked at what she had just heard. She never would have expected Discord to be having fun with Luna. If anything Celestia thought Discord would torchure her or try to corrupt her back into being Nightmare Moon but Playing video games with her just seemed impossible.

Celestia shook the thought off her mind and knocked on her sisters door.

"Who art though," Luna yelled, her mind currently focusing on beating  Discord ounce and for all.

"It's me Luna, may I come in?" Clestia answered through the door.

"Of course Tia come in," Luna yelled through door again

Celestia opened the door and stepped in only to see a determined Luna and and cocky looking Discord staring at the t.v screen.

"well if it isn't the beautiful Princess Celestia," Discord began in a pleased tone. "Please take a seat as soon as i defeat you sister with this ponymon ball you can join us."

"Thank you," Celestia said in a cautious tone. "I can't wait to play."

Luna was silent only to sudenly shout an earth shaking "HAZAA!" As Discord shouted a suprise and angry "What!"

"That's not possible," Discord began. " How did I loose! I'm always able to dodge hammers! Gaah!" Discord screamed

Celestia let out a light chuckle as Luna laughed out loud cheering. Noticing this Discord chalenged Luna and Celestia in a two on one fight. Celestia acepted and the three of them would play videogames for hours until the time came for Celestia to lower her sun and for Luna to raise her moon. The three of them stepped out onto Lunas balcony to witness the nightly event. Luna wished the two goodnight as she flew off her balcony to begin her routine of entering the dreams of ponies leaving Celestia and Discord alone on the balcony.

"Well discord," Celestia began. "You seem to be adjusting to your new life style rather well."

"Well i will admit I miss doing whatever i want but I'm actualy enjoying everything." Discord replied

"And how aur visits with Fluttershy?" Celestia asked.

Oh they're just marvelous Celestia I do quite enjoy my time with Fluttershy."

"That's great to hear," Celestia said as she and Discord exited Lunas room and entered the hallway. "So I'll see you tommorow morning for breakfest?" Celestia asked

"You have my word Princess." Discord answered formaly doing a bow to the princess.

Celestia chuckled as she turned around and walked away to go to sleep for the night. She began to think that maybe Discord really was changed. A slight blush appeared on her face as she heard Discord snap his fingures to go to his room for the night.

Discord appeared in his room in the fourth castle tower. Discords room was only what you clould expect from him, pure chaos. The walls changed colors, objects flew around and talked, everthing was a complet mess. Discord took pride in his room, for it was the only place he could be himself. Discord stretched and stood in the middle of his room. He closed his eyes and appeared in a place full of nothing but dark gray and blackness. A deep, raspy, evil sounding voice came from the nothingness and spoke to Discord.

"Are you ready," The voice began to speak to Discord. " The time has come to begin our master plan and rule Equestria ounce and for all."

'Yes of course I'm ready." Discord answered. "It's time for chaos to rule equestia ounce again."

Discord and the voice laughed evily. His eyes flashed a dark bluish color when Discord snapped his fingers and disappeared from both the nothingness and his room.

         Present Day In Pony Ville

Twilight had just finished gather her friends at sugarcube corner to share with them the news Princess Celestia had sent to her.

"Alirght, so do we know what we have to do." Twilight asked her friends.

Her friends all knoded their heads in agreement as Twilight smiled

" Wait." Rainbow Dash said. "What's so special about this plant anyways aren't there plenty of othe healing plants." Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well Rainbow," Twilight began. I read something about this plant awhile back. Its a magical plant called Salipan, it only grows ounce every two hundred years and can heal any sicknes or injury and can bring prosperity to any groups of ponies that have it."

"Well then," Applejack began confidently. "What are we sittin 'round here for, let's get goin. The rest of her friends stood up and walked out the door together to begin their quest to stop an outbreak of a civil war between the ponies and the zebras.

About the same time Spike was walking through Ponyville wondering what to do. he stopped and looked around the town only for his eyes to spot a large cloud of smoke rising from in the distance. Spike's curiosity kicked in  forcing him to run twoards the source of the smoke to see what was happening. When spike arrived at the source he was shocked at what he saw. Golden Harvest's carrot fields were a mess. Carrots were torn from the root, the ground was covered in smoke. As if he weren't worried enough he heard four famiular voice coughing and screaming for help. He was the only one around, so he charged into the blackness hoping to save the stranded ponies. Being a dragon spike eyes adjusted to thickness of the  smoke  and he was able to breath in the smoke. Spike ran through the house of smoke and was able to roughly make out for ponies huddled together on the floor with their muzzels. Spike ran up to them and tapped them on the shoulder only to get a quiet moan from Sweetie Belle in response. He knew he couldn't carry them all out at ounce but he couldn't risk getting them out one by one so with his mind racing he finaly came up withan idea. He took in a deep breath and let out a giant green flame of fire insinerating the wall, leaving a giant hole leading outside where the wall once stood. He pushed with all his might and yelled for them to try to push their way out. Golden Harvest was the first to respond, she tried to lift up Apple Bloom and scotaloo with all the power she had left and carried them out side. Spike picked up Sweetieblle, carried her out side and layed her on the ground softly. Now he had to figure out how to put the fire out. as his brain searched for an answer his thoughts were stopped as a splash of water hit the blazing fire and put it out immediately.

Spike turned around to see Big Macintosh with an empty bucket of water in his mouth. as the smoke and fire died down he began to hear Apple Bloom and Scootaloo cough and slowly sit up as Golden Harvest finished reviving the two fillies. Spike looked down at Sweetie Belle and began to perform CPR. He Pushed on her stomache a few times only to get no response finaly as tears began to form in his eyes he pressed his lips on hers and blew into her mouth. he began to smile as Sweetie Belle bagn to cough and opened her eyes to see spike standing above her.
