Light Yagami, a normal high school student finds a supernatural notebook called the Death Note which can kill ponies by knowing their full name and face. He comes in contact with a Shinigami named Ryuk, the original owner of the notebook, and Light decides to rid Equestria of all criminals. His plan is stalled though when Twilight Sparkle hides herself under the name of "T" and challenges Light to a battle to see which one's identity will be revealed first.
