The 6 Crowns of Canterlot.
Rarity sighed at the workload on her list. She had to finish Sapphire Shores' ensemble and Hoity Toity's gala outfit as well as design all of the Dresses and Suits for Derpy's wedding.
"Why couldn't her parents name her a prettier name? Like Blondie Bubbles or Floaty Bubbles or Bubbles Shine?!" Rarity thought to herself. She walked to her mannequins and glanced at her designs for the wedding dress.
"Sapphire and Hoity can wait, Derpy is more important!" She cried, throwing the half-finished ensembles into a drawer and using her magic to grab a silvery material, draping it artistically over a mannequin as a black top hat rest itself on the head of the other mannequin.
"Should be done in about a day or two!" Rarity glowed with pleasure; friends before customers, no matter how famous the customer was.
"Oh, uh. Hello Rarity." A shy voice came from the doorway. Rarity looked towards Fluttershy and realised a mistake.
"Darling! I forgot our Spa day didn't I?!" Rarity exclaimed using her magic aura to grab her gown.
"If you don't want to go that's okay with me..." Fluttershy trailer off, glancing at the workload Rarity was under.
"No, we always go to the Spa so we shall not diverse from our goal. I was so busy working I completely lost track of time Darling. No worries, I can complete the order tonight!" Rarity proclaimed, the bags under her eyes and her frizzy mane showing just how stressed she was.
~2 Hours Later~
"That was simply divine! Don't you think Dear?" Rarity practically floated out of the Spa.
"Oh, uh, yes?" Fluttershy giggled at her own nervousness.
"Well, it was lovely to spend time with you Fluttershy but I must get on with my creations. Have a wonderful Afternoon!" Rarity called over her shoulder as she began trotting towards Carousel Boutique.
"I will..." Fluttershy sighed and began the long walk back to her cottage. A sudden scream chorused through Ponyville and Fluttershy's wings suddenly flared up, racing to the sound.
"IT'S SCOOTALOO! SHE TRIED TO JUMP OVER GHASTLY GORGE AND SHE FELL!" Rain Bender screamed, pointing at the orange pegasus falling down through the Gorge. Fluttershy saw nopony helping and her wings hastened to obey her suddenly. She pumped them up and flew after Scootaloo's frail body. She quickly caught up with the filly and Fluttershy took Scootaloo in her hooves. Holding her closely she opened her wings as far as they could reach and tried to slower the descent. The pressure was too much for her wings though and they snapped with the pressure. Bones broke and ripped through the flesh and Fluttershy screamed as she saw the ground rushing forwards to meet her. In a last second attempt to save Scootaloo, Fluttershy rolled over in the air so her back was facing the ground. The sound of her spinal cord shattering upon impact was immense. Scootaloo was covered in the blood of her savour as she dizzily clambered to her hooves. Then Silence.
"Flutter... Fluttershy?" Scootaloo trembled with pain as she realised it had been Fluttershy, the shy and timid mare, that had flown heroically to save her. The laboured breaths of Fluttershy echoed in her mind.
"SHE'S NOT DEAD! SOMEPONY! ANYPONY! SAVE HER PLEASE!" Scootaloo's pleas for help rang empty, unanswered by so many who watched on. A sudden black streak arched through the sky and flew at breakneck speed to reach the dying pony in time. Her hooves crashed on the ground next to Fluttershy and Scootaloo gasped in horror.
"No! You will not kill her you monster!" She pounded her weak fists against the black mare's body to no avail. Chrysalis pushed her away with gentle hooves and touched her horn to Fluttershy's head.
"Why?" The commanding voices of 4 Ponies behind her asked with such authority it nearly made Chrysalis stop. She turned around to see Princesses Luna, Sparkle, Cadence and Rainbow wing to wing.
"Because she would show me mercy when none others would. She was the one who was least happy to banish us. The pony who felt sorry for me." Chrysalis explained.
"But won't she end up like you?!" Princess Rainbow cried, tears of anger and pain forming paths through her fur.
"No. She is a pony. I am only giving her my life essence, not my emotions or diet. She will become Alicorn but not Changeling." Chrysalis focused her last remaining power into Fluttershy and with the power gone she lay still.
"What...? What happened?" Fluttershy squeaked nervously.
"FLUTTERSHY!" Twilight, Rainbow and Cadence all ran to hug her, smothering her with love. Behind them Princess Luna eyed Chrysalis' dead body with unease.
"Perhaps we should move away from the dead changeling?" She suggested.
"Why? She can't harm us..." Rainbow trailed off as green goo exploded from Chrysalis and covered all ponies in the surrounding area except Luna who had a magic barrier around herself.
"...now." Rainbow Dash finished. Fluttershy laughed and subconsciously used her magic to wipe herself clean.
"Wait? I'm am Alicorn?!" She looked at what remained of Chrysalis and herself.
"So she was a good pony in the end." Fluttershy whispered, smiling at the best of Chrysalis.

Pinkie was standing innocently by the red carpet, waiting for the coronation ceremony to be over. By the look on Fluttershy's face she wasn't the only one who wanted to make a quick getaway. Pinkie merely shrugged off the feeling of doom and gloom with a quiet giggle, loud enough for Rainbow Dash to hear.
"Shut up Pinkie!" She glared, turning from her fellow Princesses to silence the pink mare. Pinkie's face fell when she saw the seriousness in her old-friend's eyes until Dash also let out a giggle.
"You fell for it!" She whispered to Pinkie.
After the ceremony Pinkie Pie decided to head back to Ponyville to help out with Pound and Pumpkin. The train journey seemed longer and Pinkie couldn't shake that feeling of doom and gloom any longer, she had to find out what it was. As soon as she arrived back in Ponyville Pinkie head towards the Library.
"Pinkie Pie? Are you in here?" She called to herself.
"Yessssssss! We wanted to ssssspeak with you for agesssss!" An eerie whispering voice echoed through the darkness of the abandoned library. The cobwebs waved in an imaginary breeze and Pinkie could feel the Evil in this place.
"Well, I did get Twilight to remove you for a reason!" She giggled, hoping she was safe all the way over here.
"But you never forgot about me did you? Pinkamina Dianne Pie, your deepesssst, darkesssst sssssecret!" The voice called out again.
"Aww, no matter how evil you are I cannot forget myself. It is simple maths." Pinkie Pie frowned.
"Yet you believe you should forget me? Forget usssss? Forget the crimesssss you committed?"
"NO! I WILL NEVER FORGET THEM!" Pinkie shouted, sudden angry tears prickling her eyes. Another Pink pony stepped into the moonlight, an exact copy of Pinkie Pie except for some details;
Her eyes were blood red and crying tears of blood, Her mane hung limp and straight yet long, her coat, mane and tail were 3 shades Darker than Pinkie's.
"Pinkamina… why would you make me kill them? They were my only family!" Pinkie asked the dark shadow.
"Because I represssssent your hatred towardssss that farm and your sssissstersss." Pinkamina replied, smiling an eerie smile of lust and insanity.
"I have come to ask you something." Pinkie simply said.
"Yes, I know. I am you ssssstill." Pinkamina glared at her old body.
"Well then can you answer my question? Why can't I shake the doom and gloom Pinkie Sense?"
"Hmmm. It sssseemsss that you are ssstill waiting for ssssomething. Forgivenessss maybe? No, you wish for Inkie and Blinkie back!"
"No, I asked you a simple question. The answers you give are no better than Zecora's." Pinkie sighed, bored and exhausted. Maybe her evil could sense her exhaustion, or maybe it was it's lucky day but as the butcher knife sunk deep into Pinkie's collar bone she could say only one thing.
"Sorry."
~1 Hour Later~
"Oh, you are awake? Yessss! Finally I can have ssssome fun with you!" Pinkamina giggled, making sure the straps securing Pinkie to the oak table were secure. Pinkie opened her eyes and observed the blurry scene before her. Her shadow, Pinkamina, was standing mere inches away from her, leaning over a table with shiny things on it. As Pinkie's vision started to focus she could tell that the shiny objects were in fact scalpels and knives, as well as some glass jars and thick metal chains.
"Sssso... what issss it you want doing today?" Pinkamina asked Pinkie with a false posh voice. Pinkie tried to respond but something was stopping her mouth from moving.
"A wash, cut and blow? I can do that!" Pinkamina laughed, reaching for a hacksaw. She turned it over in her hoofs and eyed it carefully. After minutes of careful consideration and deliberate torment to her lighter self, Pinkamina lowered the saw to Pinkie's hoof.
"Actually, you wanted a hooficure too?! Splendid Darling!" Pinkamina laughed maniacally as she started to saw off the hoof, the blood that landed on her face she merely licked off. After doing her back left hoof Pinkamina moved to Pinkie's back right hoof and repeated the process. Tears streamed down Pinkie's face and pain began to fill her mind. Her vision was blacking out and her eyes rolled back into her head.
"WAKE UP BITCH! I AM NOT DONE WITH YOU YET!" Pinkamina slapped Pinkie in the face, resulting in the frightened mare squealing.
"That's better." Pinkamina smiled as she held up Pinkie's hooves. She put them down on the table along with the saw and picked up a knife just as a hole appeared in the ceiling. A blur of Rainbow zipped through the air as Pinkamina threw the knife at Pinkie, hitting her in the chest.
"GO. TO. HELL!" Rainbow Dash growled as she punched the dark mare into submission. Two royal guards flew into the Library and detained Pinkamina further. Rainbow Dash turned to her friend and saw the blood.
"Pinkie! PINKIE! STAY WITH ME PINKIE!" Dash cried as she ran over to help her friend. The knife was embedded in Pinkie's chest and had probably hit her heart.
"Pinkie… I can't lose you Pinkie. I love you." Dash collapsed onto the floor, Pinkie's dead corpse laying still next to her.
"Rainbow… Dash. Stay… cool… for me… okay?" Pinkie let out a gasp as her body convulsed and lay still. Rainbow Dash screamed and punched the wall in anger.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DIE ON ME PINKIE! NEVER GIVE UP! STAY WITH ME! stay with me." Dash let her tears flow freely as the bloody corpse of her friend lay in a pool of her own blood.
"Don't despair! There is always Hope and Laughter!" An excited voice giggled from above Dash.
"Whoever you are, leave me alone." She lashed out, kicking the air.
"Aww, Come on Dashie. Where is your sense of fun?"
"How do you know my name?" Dash rolled her eyes after she asked that stupid Question; Princess, duh.
"Just let me say this, Giggle at the Ghosties and Crack up at the creepy." That same voice giggled. A white light illuminated the room and standing before Rainbow Dash was an Alicorn. A pink one with a long flowing mane of... sweets?! The white light exited the sugary Alicorn and entered Pinkie Pie.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Princess Bubblegum. Ruler of the Candy Empire. Wife of Discord Chaos." Princess Bubblegum laughed pouring the last magical drop into Pinkie Pie. Pinkie bounced up with her wings and horn in place. She reached for something in her neon pink aura of magic and suddenly a crown appeared on her head.
"Yay! I'm back! This calls for a..." Whatever it called for (a party probably) the wind was knocked out of Pinkie before she could finish her sentence. A cyan alicorn was hugging her so tightly it was impossible to wriggle out of.
"I love you Pinkie." Dash cried into Pinkie's coat, so glad her friend had returned to her.
"I love you too Dashie." Pinkie replied. The two ponies kissed and cuddled as they walked away from the Library and towards Pinkie's new Empire.

AppleJack watched as her secret pony crush wandered away with Pinkie who was an... ALICORN? What the hay? Everypony was becoming Alicorns and she was worried that she would lose the other elements quickly. She turned to run towards home but stopped in her tracks as Carousel Boutique appeared in front of her. She smiled and remembered that Rarity wasn't a stupid Alicorn yet. AppleJack practically bounced into the parlour but to her surprise the other four elements were there too. They started speaking to her but before AppleJack could hear what they were saying she turned and ran. Tears streamed down the face of the element of honesty as she bucked her way into the barn. She dragged hay bails to form a fort around her and she huddled down to sleep. A sudden crash stopped AppleJack from her slumber and sudden weight was crushing the robust orange form of the farmer pony.
''BIG MAC! GRANNY! APPLEBLOOM! SOMEPONY, ANYPONY, HELP ME!'' She cried out, black and white dots intruding her vision as it became blurry. The pressure was unbearable now and AppleJack bucked furiously with all of her remaining strength. Her breath became short and laboured as she felt bones snap and shatter, ribs puncturing her lungs. AppleJack screamed one last scream before laying down to die.
~7 Hours Later~
"AppleBloom, stay outta the Barn. Ah heard it crash last night an' ah don't wantcha gettin hurt. Y'all understand?" Big Macintosh asked his younger sister.
"Ah understand brother. Ah got crusading to do anyway, gotta git ta school now! Bye Granny! Bye AppleJack! Bye Big Mac!" The young filly ran out of the door and of to school, no doubt to get into fights and more silly crusading. Macintosh sighed and turned to the barn. The roof had caved in and he had every intention of getting it fixed before AppleBloom returned home. Mac pushed the door open with his muzzle and almost screamed. There, underneath a pile of rubble and tiles, was his other younger sister AppleJack.
"GRANNY! GIT THE HOSPITAL! NOW!" He shouted, not once removing his eyes from the almost dead sibling of his. Mac snapped out of his trance and ran to shove the weight off of AppleJack. Using his shoulder Mac shoved most of the rubble off.
"AJ, stay wit me. Ma baby sis, stay wit me." Mac's tears now ran freely as he saw the damage done to his sister. Bones erupted from her skin and blood coated almost every part of AppleJack's fur. Big Mac collected his sister's body off of the ground and gently and carefully placed her on his back. Making sure she was secure, Mac galloped at full speed towards Ponyville Hospital only to be stopped by a mysterious Alicorn.
"Who the hay are ya and why are ya stappin me from gittin ma sister ta the Hospital?!" Macintosh demanded.
"I am Princess Applestia, distant relation of Celestia's. The Element of Honesty is hurt is she not? Then put her on the ground and allow me room to work. Now git!" The Princess replied, a slight southern drawl cropping up in her royal voice. Big Mac was in such a state of shock that he immediatly placed his sister on the ground. Applestia worked her bright red magic to AppleJack and the Earth pony slowly began changing. First her body became Slimmer, then her coat became shinnier, then her mane was parted by an orange horn and lastly a pair of orange wings appeared on the new Alicorn's back.
"Thank ya kindly Princess. That was might nice of ya." AppleJack smiled as the princess floated up into the morning sky as a glimmering orange star.
"Come on Macintosh, we gotta lotta work ta git to aint we?" AppleJack closed her dumbfouded brother's mouth and started the short trot back to Sweet Apple Acres.
