Oh man! Dad got back from Silk's place this morning, and everything went well. She bought the house, and even recommended us a place to move to, she says it's quiet and Dad should have no problem supporting us there. I gotta say, I was a bit surprised she paid as much as she did for this place. Maybe the memories or something. I guess I'll miss it, but it's not like it's going anywhere. I'm sure Silk Road will want us to visit sometimes.
It's funny, but I never expected we would move. I was born here, I've lived here for all seventeen years of my life. He moved here when he was young, and even got married here. I suppose for us, the bad memories outweigh the good, but it's not like those are important anymore.
...
Okay, maybe they're still important, but we don't have to let them hold us back. Dad might meet a mare, even... I doubt I'll meet anyone, pony or not. Even if the biological differences between a human guy and a stallion didn't matter, since I haven't sworn off mares, I still doubt I'll find someone able to overcome my issue. Dad won't be around forever, and I don't know if most ponies are willing to learn sign just to be with someone. Well, maybe if they love someone enough, but that's a ways off.
Apparently Dad's gonna have our stuff shipped to us once we have a house. I had hoped he was selling our old stuff, and we could just get new furniture, but I suppose I can see why he would want to keep it. Well, some of it anyways.
Dad says it's time to go, so I suppose I'll write more when we get there. Lily, out!
