The Platinum Descendant

Rumbeldee was on a train to Canterlot, constantly thinking about what happened after Chrysalis kidnapped Vocal....

Chrysalis had left with Vocal, and the Changelings huddled around one another, whispering about what to do with Rumbeldee. They came to a conclusion. "Hey mare, we've decided what to do with ya." One of the Changelings said, with an evil look on his face  "We're gonna kill ya now." The Changelings walked towards Rumbeldee, and they pounced at her.

She used her magic to blast the Changelings back towards a wall, and had them hit it hard enough to knock them out. "Well..." Rumbeldee began saying, while using her magic to free herself from her binds "I'm glad I can get free from those THINGS!"

"I hope I'm not too late to help him!" Rumbeldee said to herself. The train was coming to a stop "We've arrived at Canterlot, please do not leave any belongings on board, thank you." The conductor said. Rumbeldee ran off the train, hoping her inherited cape wouldn't fall off, showing her rather disturbing cutie mark. She knew where she was heading, and ran as fast as she could, while her dark red and black mane got in the way a bit.

One hour later....

Rumbeldee made it to her destination... Vocal's parent's house. "Hello, are the Vocal Mike's parent's here?" Rumbeldee asked, whilst knocking on the front door. A unicorn stallion opened the door "Hello, I'm Pallay." Vocal's dad said "Who are you my dear?" Rumbeldee stood astonished for a minute. She thought for a moment, then responded to Pallay "Oh, sorry. I'm Rumbeldee, a friend of Vocal Mike's. Are you his dad?" Pallay chuckled "Why yes, I am. Are you here to collect his old things?"  Rumbeldee raised an eye brow. "Huh? No sir, I was told in this letter to come here." Rumbeldee said. using her magic to give Pallay the letter Vocal made last night for Rumbeldee.

"Dear Rumbeldee,

I might not be alive when you read this, or have control over my mind anymore, I believe that Changelings may have something to do with our past situation. When you're free, cause I know you will be, go to Canterlot, and head for 1622 Cherrygrove Street, ask for my parents, and show them this letter. Mom, dad, which ever of you is reading this, Rumbeldee is allowed to go into my room, and get the necklace with Princess Celestia's seal on it. Rumbeldee must go and find Princess Aeila!

"Princess Aeila, why does he need her help?" Pallay asked himself. "Um... who's Princess Aeila?" Rumbeldee asked, rubbing the back of her head. "Oh, please do come in, I'll explain." Pallay said, bring Rumbeldee inside, and onto the living room couch. Pallay sat down on the couch opposite of the one Rumbeldee sat on. "You see Rumbeldee... Princess Aeila is Vocal's marefriend. From what I remember, they started going out before Vocal became a prince. After a couple of months, they started a long distance relationship after he left to Celestia knows where." Pallay explained, picking up a picture of Vocal and Aeila with his magic. Rumbeldee began thinking what this princess was needed for. "Sir, I gotta go." Rumbeldee said, then went upstairs to Vocal's room and got the necklace.

Meanwhile....

"Hey look Aeila, a butterfly! I'm gonna catch it for ya!" The brainwashed Vocal said, chasing a blue and red butterfly for Queen Chrysalis. *THUD* Vocal ran into a tree, head first. Vocal began rubbing his head from the pain, and slowly began to remember everything that happened earlier. "oh no!" Vocal began to whisper to himself "Rumbeldee, you better be already talking to Aeila!" Chrysalis then flew towards her love, only to find him no longer under her control. "What did you do to me? You... You monster!" Vocal said, shouting as loud as he could. "Oh my, Vocal! I'm hurt by what you called me!" Chrysalis teased "I only put you under my love spell, so we could be together!" Chrysalis then used a paralysis spell, and repeated what she did earlier. Vocal was now her's once more.

Back at Canterlot Castle...

"Princess Celestia," Rumbeldee said, bowing to the ruler of Equestria "I'm sorry to interrupt anything you may be doing, but I need to see Princess Aeila!" Celestia smiled "Oh, you must be a friend of Vocal Mike. You'll find my younger cousin in the garden right now." Celestia informed Rumbeldee. "Th-Thank you Princess." Rumbeldee said, as she ran towards the garden.

Rumbeldee made it to the royal garden, where she saw a light orange mare, with silk like green hair, using her magic and wings to tend to the flora around her. "A-are you Princess Aeila?" Rumbeldee asked the flying princess. "Why yes, I am. Who are you though my dark coated friend?" Princess Aeila asked Rumbeldee, fluttering back onto the ground. "I'm Rumbeldee, your majesty." Rumbeldee informed Aeila, who was now giggling. "I'm so sorry, but your name is a bit funny!" Aeila said, trying to stop her giggling. "Princess, I've got something for you, from your Stallionfriend, Vocal Mike!" Rumbeldee informed the princess, who now was serious. "V-Vocal? I haven't heard from him in forever! Wait... is that the necklace I got for him, the one with the holo-crystal inside?" Aeila asked, worried what has happened to Vocal. Rumbeldee gave Aeila the necklace, and Aeila opened it, with a holo-message with Vocal saying...

"Aeila, should you ever see this, I might need your help. It's time you opened the locked box I got you for our anniversary, the one with the silver heart on the top."

Aeila understood what might've happened, and she took Rumbeldee to her room. Aeila opened the box, with the key on the necklace that Vocal had given her to go with the locked box. She took out what was inside. "This paper, has a spell written on it, that allows the casters who use it, to free a singular pony, from any form of brainwashing." Aeila said. "W-Wait... USERS?" Rumbeldee asked "There needs to be two ponies to use it!?"  Aeila looked over at Rumbeldee "Yes, and I need your help, if Vocal has been brainwashed, then we need to help him!"
