Chapters My Little Crystal: Love is Magic
"Twinkling Glass! " A soft voice called.
"Just a minute! " Twinkling Glass called. Shit. Today was a meeting with her and the royal family. Quickly using a spell to slide her mane into a pony tail, the glass pony stumbled down the steps, before answering the door of her private library-- her own room in the Crystal Palace. Opening the door, she saw Effervescent, a light orange pony, tapping her hoof impatiently. She was a former Canterlot pony, with a clipboard levitating in front of her, along with a pencil. Scribbling blurred words onto the paper, the assistant of Princess Cadance herself let out a tsk tsk.
"I don't have time, you're go- " Eff looked up and gasped. "Twinkling Glass! I know you might be close to Cadance, but I'd never expect for you to arrive to meet the rest of her royal family in attire like... that! "
Twinkling Glass looked down. She was dressed in her normal "outfit", which was simply her naked. Unlike most ponies, however, she had a pair of shoes often seen on Celestia. Instead of the gold ones, she had a pair of silver, to prevent chips on her hooves from her horrible balance.
"Eff, you know me well enough that I go as my regular self. Unlike you, I don't care how people see me like this. This is regularly me. If you couldn't tell, I put up my mane. I taught myself that spell. " Twinkling Glass grinned.
"It is Effervescent, not *Eff. " She nearly spat the last words. " Come, now, the royal family is awaiting. Princess Twilight Sparkle is there. She *is Princess Cadence's sister in law, so you'll be in the presence of two princesses, so behave yourself.**"
"Twilight Sparkle? I've seen her in pictures, but I have yet to meet her. I am pretty close to Shining Armor though, he's pretty cool, so his sister has to be. " The young pony smiled at Effervescent, who was easily seven or eight years older than her. Effervescent had a disappointed, exasperated look on her face.
"Did the Princess ever tell you what this meeting was about? "
"Actually, no, but I have some matters to discuss with her about Mirrorville. She's visiting ther- "
"If you don't mind, that is where you're going first. You're leaving the Crystal Empire. "
"Effervesce- "
"We're here! Go in, go in. I'll see you at the end of the meeting. "
The peach-colored pony nudged the unicorn into the room, Twinkling Glass stared at her friend who didn't exactly like her back. "Effie, wait! " Twinkling Glass could only watch as the big, ice door swung closed right in her face. Gulping, she turned to face the group of twenty ponies that sat at the table behind her.

The aquamarine crystal pony looked at her audience. Twenty ponies? There were supposed to be twenty ponies, not nineteen. With a sudden lurch in her stomach, Twinkling Glass realized that she was the twentieth pony.
After a few minutes of silence, a familiar voice greeted Twinkling Glass.
"Oh, Twinkling Glass! I'm so glad you're here! I thought you caught a virus or something along those lines! It seems that I might have been mislead. " The pink alicorn smiled at her student. "Why don't you take a seat next to Twilight Sparkle? "
With wobbly knees and hooves that felt like they had weights in them, Twinkling Glass feebly nodded and stumbled over to sit in the only empty seat next to the lavender alicorn. Feeling the stare of Twilight Sparkle on her, Twinkling Glass tried not to hyperventilate. The young crystal pony hated being anywhere near the center of attention. Realizing most ponies were staring at her, she began to hear her breaths come more rapidly. They weren't staring-- they were glaring at the pupil of Cadance herself!
"Sugarcube, are you okay? " The comforting voice came from an orange pony who had... apples... for a cutie mark.
Nodding slowly, Twinkling Glass choked out a reply. "Y-yes, Miss. " The pony looked strangely familiar. Was she the one in that portrait with Cadance and Twilight, along with four other ponies? Evening out her breath, Twink kept the same thought repeating in her head. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. You're okay.
"Let's begin! " Cadance said, gleefully, tapping her hooves together. "Everybody, the papers we will need to begin are in the pink folder I sent to all of you. "
Papers? What papers? You never heard anything about papers? Wait, maybe you did, you just left them on the... table.
"Tw- " Cadance turned to Twinking Glass once again, but before she could say anything, a turquoise aura of magic appeared on the Crystal Pony's horn, and the papers were suddenly on the table.
"Nice save. " A cyan pony nudged Twinkling Glass with an approving face. Her rainbow mane really needed to be brushed. She looked like she was in the picture with Cadance too, but that couldn't be. Cadance said those were the Elements of Harmony with her. Only Twilight was an Element of Harmony. Right? Twinkling Glass was still learning modern history. Cadance had decided to go really in depth over the past few years in ancient Equestrian history, along with the pre-Sombra stage of the Crystal Empire, hundreds of years ago. It was pretty interesting.
Yet, modern history wasn't needed for Twinkling Glass. She didn't have to worry about being flustered for not knowing the details-- she rarely left the Crystal Palace, and was incredibly anti-social.
"Twilight Sparkle. " Cadance smiled at her sister in law. "We discussed this, would you like to tell everybody what we discussed? "
The princess nodded, happily, before finding a paper with several tedious-looking paragraphs printed upon them. "I am here on the behalf of Celestia, who is in Saddle Arabia with her sister Princess Luna. They are discussing private matters that I cannot repeat in here. We are worried about... "
Twinkling Glass simply lost interest at this point, gazing down at her hooves. Several minutes later, the cyan pony next to her nudged her out of her daze, obviously knowing something that Twinkling didn't.
"...and so, due to these rapidly appearing crystal towns, we have decided to move the Crystal Heart celebration to one of these crystal places in an attempt to make peace. Troops will be everywhere-- It's still Equestrian territory, but the outskirts, and these crystal ponies that occupy the town are fairly rebellious, three have been put in jail temporarily for assaulting a group of the Royal Guard unsuccessfully, but they have made their point. That was just this week, there have been many more convicts. We have decided to send ambassadors to each of these towns, official ambassadors who now have a place in the Equestrian government.
In the town of Terra Mannis, we are sending out Rainbow Dash, one of the elite former members of the Elite Royal Guard. This was a suggestion from myself, approved by Celestia herself.
In the town of Equis, we have Applejack. Applejack's honesty should keep them calm, and earn their trust with her honesty.
And finally, in the town of Mirrorville, where we have decided to hold the Crystal Heart ceremony, the ambassador will be Twinkling Glass. "
Twinkling Glass was baffled. The unicorn was now an unofficial sector of the Crystal Empire government? What?
"WHAT?! " An outraged voice came from across the table. It had a stuck up accent. The male himself looked stuck up. Twilight Sparkle froze, and quickly wrote something down on a sticky note, handing it under the table to Twinkling Glass, who fumbled with it, just managing not to drop it. Looking at it, a somewhat messy, somewhat neat rushed handwriting was upon it.
That's Blueblood, my friend Rarity's ex-husband. Show him up with magic.
'Show him up with magic'? A Princess wanted a mere student to show up royalty and make the horse look like a buffoon?
"You heard her. " Twinkling Glass's voice was quiet, but instantly the room became silent, looking at the aquamarine pony.
"Pardon? " Blueblood asked, a dark tone to his voice.
"She said my name. These choices were approved by Celestia and Cadance, so I have to be worth something. Blood isn't everything. "
"Yet blood is something. " Blueblood asked, annoyed with this female already. Dusty blue sparks were appearing at the top of his horn, showing that he had to channel magic using magic-- a very inefficient way. Twinkling Glass could already tell who was the expert here.
"Cadance? " A light yellow pony asked urgently.
Cadance raised a hoof to the yellow pony, an intrigued look in her eyes. It was obvious most of the ponies here did not like Blueblood at all.
"You want to go? " Glass pushed a strand of electric blue hair out of her eyes. Channeling energy, she felt adrenaline rush through her. Blueblood glanced around, biting his lip. He had expected Twinkling to back down by now. Turning towards her, he let out a predictable beam of blue magic, meanwhile Twinkling sent out one of her own, a brilliant violet stream of fury, much larger than Blueblood's, colliding with his and soon powering over his. A purple aura instantly covered Blueblood, thrusting him into the air, leaving him surrounded by the purple and levitating.
Flailing, the "prince" hadn't expected to be so easily overpowered. "Uncle! I surrender! I give up! " He cried, dramatically, not realizing that harm wouldn't come from him. Sucking in her magic back to her abruptly, the white stallion fell with a thud onto the white table, scrambling back over to his seats, a bright red blush on his face.
"Does anybody have any questions? " The electric-blue maned pony grinned. The ten ponies sent nasty glares at her from across the table, the ten on Twinkling Glass's side sending her relieved looks. Clearing her throat, Cadance got everypony's attention.
"Blueblood, you don't always have to be so defiant of who has royal blood or not. The princesses themselves never had any actual children that we know of, so nobody has pure royal blood running through their veins. " Cadance smiled, but it was obvious she didn't like the prince for his snobbish ways.
"I also have a few arrangements myself. " Cadance neighed. "Fluttershy, you and Rarity can stay at the palace, as your two friends will be gone. Pinkie Pie, I am expecting you to stay in Canterlot with Twilight Sparkle, just so she doesn't loose contact with all of her friends. Rarity, I believe you know the simple spell to send messages? " She turned to the white mare.
"Why, of course! " Rarity nodded.
"You two groups can exchange messages fairly quickly. Meanwhile, Applejack and Rainbow Dash, you'll have to send them in the mail, which will take a few more hours than their skills. "
The two ponies nodded.
"I believe that covers everything. Meeting dismissed! "
My Little Crystal: Love is Magic
Twinkling Glass left with a few goodbyes, only one, well, technically two, being teary-eyed. It was saying goodbye to Princess Cadance and her husband, Prince Shining Armor. The two had met her when she was young, auditioning for the newly founded Celestia's Crystal Empire School for Gifted Ponies, run by Effervescent and Cadance for the year-- it soon turned to Cadance with Effie as the secretary. Audtions were casual. Observing the mathematical brain of an Earth Pony, a speed test for a Pegasus, and a magic test for the unicorns. Each pony was given a dragon egg. When a spell was cast upon it, it would react and have the spellcaster's DNA infused into it, and it decided the type of dragon, the most common being a Fire, Earth, Air, or Water dragon. For ponies that weren't gifted, it wouldn't hatch.
Twinkling Glass had gone, an orphan, cast the spell, and nothing happened. The egg just turned a sickly shade of black. Feeling like she had failed, she walked out of the room, trying not to get teary eyed. When she put a hoof outside the door, an earsplitting crack happened, followed by a loud cry. The Princess herself had come out and brought Twinkling Glass back to see what she had hatched. The unicorn's magic was so powerful, it made a moon dragon. In the dragon government, if you had a moon dragon child, same with the sun dragon, it had to be killed so it wouldn't interfere with Celestia or Luna's sun and moon raising spells. But, this was born into the Equestrian government, so the young baby dragon was sent to Canterlot, to live with Luna.
Twinkling Glass had become Cadance's personal apprentice that day.
Then she had been adopted by Cadance, as Twinkling would get teased mercilessly at the orphanage every night she returned-- it also helped provide them more time with their lessons. She got close to Prince Shining Armor, too. She hung out with him at the barracks whenever Cadance had important matters to do. They would eat clover and mustard sandwiches, a strange combination, but healthy enough. They would joke around and the other members of the Royal Guard loved to talk with Twinkling, as she wasn't an unintelligent brat.
He never really took the place of a father, nor did Cadance. They were mostly big brothers and sisters-- she loved them for that. She quickly blocked out those memories, sitting on the train. She couldn't cry in public. A Royal Guard member sat across the aisle from her. She knew him, she used to hang out with him at the barracks with Shining Armor. Clashing Swords, that was his name. He was an incredibly handsome guy, but he was a softy, and secretly slept with a teddy bear, although Twinkling Glass wasn't supposed to know that. She just heard a group of stallions laughing about it once. Glancing around, this first-class train car was private. It was just members of the Royal Guard, the safest train car there could be. It was an overnight car, of course, so the pony ducked her head to climb out of her tiny "cabin" to go find some grub.
Walking through the train cars, she noticed there were many sleepy guests in ugly Hawaiian shirts that somebody always wore whenever you went on a vacation. Feeling self-conscious, Twinkling Glass felt like everybody was staring at her, when nobody even bothered to look her way. Trying not to break out in a run, Twinkling Glass picked up her pace and moved faster. Reaching the last train car, she scented the aroma of food. She could sense there were one or two train cars beyond this, but they weren't connected at this area. Probably right behind the counter.
A bored pony, about a teenager, probably a little bit older, read a magazine behind the counter. "What do you want? " She asked.
"Do you have a, um, veggie burger? " Twinkling Glass was new to this.
"Anything else? "
"A side of hay fries and a cola. " The pony smiled, realizing how twig thin the pony behind the counter was. With a roll of her eyes, the girl turned and shouted the order to a pony, who ran into another train car with the order.
"What do you usually have for dinner? " Twinkling Glass neighed, waiting for her food.
"Here they usually serve veggie burgers for dinner. The side yesterday was hay fries, today it's yams, but they're making an exception for you. Word behind the counter is that you're the student of Cadance. "
"Um, yeah. Technically, I'm her daughter, but I see her more as a sister. She adopted me. " Feeling the blood rush to her face in embarrassment, she looked at her hooves.
"Cool. What could I do to get a private tour of the Crystal Palace? " Her eyes lit up in excitement.
"I can't give you a tour. " Twinkling Glass said, flatly.
Angrily, the teenager disappeared and came back with her food. Twinkling Glass felt no regret.
"Here's your food. " She said, bitterly.
"Thank you, it's such a shame you had to loose your tip by being so rude. " The worker had a crestfallen look on her face, and Twinkling Glass had to keep from letting out an evil cackle.
"Stand by me. " Clashing Swords hissed as we exited the train. I did so without hesitation, levitating my luggage in the air where no pony could reach it. Clashing Swords looked like he wished to do it, but he was a pegasus, so he was more than happy when I levitated his luggage. It was pretty light. It just seemed like a few different pairs of clothes-- probably all the identical two piece that the soldiers had to wear. We quickly approached the tallest building in the city, a giant glass dome that you couldn't look into.
"Bulletproof glass. " Clashing Swords informed, and my worry quickly fading. The area was gated, guards were on patrol. There was probably some valuable shit in that area if it was so heavily guarded. Walking up to the guards, they glanced at duo.
"Private Clashing Swords. This is Princess Twinkling Glass. She is to be staying here, I believe. " The guards looked surprised, and quickly shuffled through their papers, until one nodded, and they both let them pass.
"Princess? " Twinkling Glass laughed. Clashing Swords was barely older than her. The female was nineteen, he was twenty.
"You're more royal than Blueblood, adopted by the princess and all. " Clashing Swords chuckled. It was obvious Shining Armor had told him about it.
"You heard? " The aquamarine pony groaned as they walked inside.
"Um, yeah. The whole Royal Guard in the Crystal Empire has. We encountered the wrath of Blueblood once. What a wimp. " That made Twinkling Glass burst out laughing. Everypony glanced at them as they rushed up to the desk. Clashing Swords quickly told the secretary that I was supposed to be staying, and she lit up.
"Finally, we have a girl who will be staying here that can talk to me since all the other ones have 'classified information'. " She laughed. "Sir, you'll have to stay down here while I take Twinkling Glass up to her room. "
A feeling of clinginess rushed through Twinkling Glass, making her feel surprised. "He's coming with me. " Twinkling Glass stomped a hoof for emphasis.
"Ma'am, he has to stay behind, it's the female quarters. "
"I am a princess, and I say that he comes with me! " Twinkling Glass had no idea what was up with herself.
"Okay, okay. " The seceratary smiled, unphased. "You and your boyfriend can come with me. "
"He's not my boyfriend! " Twinkling Glass tried not to shriek with frustration.
Clashing Swords had decided to stay behind, leaving Twinkling with the white furred pony.
"My name is Paradise. " The pony beamed.
"Twinkling Glass, but you already knew it. Sorry about earlier, it's just he's the only thing that I have left of the Crystal Palace. "
"Are you really a princess? " Paradise looked at her skeptically.
"I'm adopted by Cadance. " Twinkling Glass grinned.
"Well your friend sure looks like your his princess. " Paradise burst out laughing.
"Despite you cracking some horrible jokes about him liking me, you're pretty cool. "
Paradise beamed. "Want to grab a bite to eat afterwards? "
"Sure. " Might as well. Twinkling Glass could always use a new friend.

Twinkling Glass: Lunch With a Masquerade
My legs felt stiff in the morning. I had jumped with joy when I figured out they had a gym. I hadn't worked out for the past week, and if I put a death grip on the edge of the treadmill, I would only stumble a few times. Swearing I saw Clashing Swords, I knew it was way too many times to be true. The princess had a silly school-filly crush on somebody, more than she would have liked. Clashing Swords was nowhere to be seen as I exited the girl's quarters of the housing area. Of course. He was supposed to immediately head to the Royal Guard facility. This was some idiotic medical researcher area. Quickly changing out of my pajamas -- it was more comfy with them in bed-- I snapped on my metal shoes, ready for a night, well day in the murderous town.
Quietly entering the elevator, I pressed the one button. Nobody was in here? What time was it? Exiting the elevator, I looked around and saw a shitty tiny analog clock at the end of the hallway. I didn't have time for that. Walking over to the front desk, I looked for Paradise, quickly finding the white furred pony. "Hey Paradise. " I said, quietly, and the pony turned and clapped her hooves together happily.
"Do you mind if I bring my friend, Masquerade? She's pretty funny. "
"Oh, I don't mind. "
"Where's your boyfriend? " The cocky look on Paradise's face made me want to slap the shit out of her so bad.
"The way you always call him my boyfriend makes me think that you like him. "
"Haha, no. I have a crush on somebody else. Anyways, you'll need a pass. " Putting an id card in my hand that had an electric blue lanyard that melted in with my mane, I smiled at it.
"My picture looks so bad. " I said, the smile still on my face.
"I know, Twinkling. I know. " Paradise laughed, showing that her words were a joke, before stopping abruptly and picking up the phone. Turning around, I noticed I was making a line of incredibly impatient people. Shit. Stepping to the side, I cleared my throat to Paradise to get off the damn phone. Putting it down, she turned around and yelled a name through a door that I didn't quite pick up. A grumbling older pony waddled out, a rotund and plump man. Paradise glided out from behind the counter, before squeaking.
"MASSY! " She called, waving her hoof frantically. The place was packed. I'm surprised Masquerade heard her.
"Hey, Pari, hey... " Massy bit her lip. "Who are you? "
"I'm Twinkling Glass. " I smiled, looking at the pegasus.
"Masquerade. " The pony rolled her eyes and looked at Paradise. I was used to this treatment.
"Masque, she's coming with us to lunch. " Paradise beamed at me, then at Masquerade.
"Why is she even in Mirrorville, anyways? She looks too fragile. " Masquerade scoffed.
"I'm the ambassador, personally appointed by Princess Twilight Sparkle, Cadance, and Celestia themselves. " This pony was getting on my nerves; my inter-bragging self was coming out. Masquerade raised an eyebrow.
"Massy, she's a princess. " Paradise beamed like it was an accomplishment to even befriend me. Honestly, I needed more friends, and Paradise seemed nice enough. That made Masquerade surprised.
"None of the princesses are cr- "
"I'm adopted. " That made Masquerade let out a soft oh.
"Anyways, lets go eat! " Paradise chirped, bouncing away, making Masquerade and I chase after her.
"When does the paperwork come in? " Masquerade asked, having a hard time with the fork, but managing not to get food everywhere.
Meanwhile, I used my magic to shove a fork into the salad then gently bring it up to my mouth.
"Paperwork? " I asked directly after swallowing.
"Yeah, paperwork. You're the ambassador, right? "
"Well, Cadance like sent me here on a short term notice. This place is going to be where the Crystal Heart celebration will be. There's going to be one in the Crystal Empire, too, of course. " I shrugged. I probably sounded like a fake ambassador. "What do you do for a living? "
"I'm a chemist. " Well, that surprised me. "I work at the government building. It was a scientist lab, bu- "
The terrifying sound, something you never heard in the Crystal Palace, interrupted our conversation. Gunshots.
"Get down. " Paradise and Masquerade both whispered to me. Quickly muttering an enchantment (a forbidden one I wasn't supposed to know), I looked at my hooves, which disappeared, along with the rest of my body, right as three criminals burst in, giant rifles levitating in front of them-- they were unicorns.
I was terrified. The three had already imprinted an image on my mind. They were dusty gray ponies-- they had no cutie marks. (Surprise, surprise.) They had the dull coats of foreign ponies. They each wore a ski mask to hide their identity, but honestly, it would be pretty easy to find them later. One had a giant sack draped across his back. Holy shit, that thing must have weighed a ton. Then reality hit me. Something was moving inside. They had a hostage. Quickly teleporting, I sent out a flash of light, which appeared on the complete other side of the room. They looked confused. Taking the chance, I delivered a beam of light to the rifle, which reflected off of it. Damn, they were charmed. It was time to go in and wrestle the fuck out. Quickly levitating the hostage, I heard a muffled, bloodcurdling scream as they realized they were being lifted into the air, and I quickly dropped them to the side of me, before charging.
The invisibility was wearing off. Charms only lasted for a few minutes. As they stared at me incredulously, they saw I was flickering. Distracted, one dropped the gun, and I quickly snatched it with my magic. This one wasn't charmed. Grinning, I quickly entered another weak invisibility charm, which gave me ten seconds. Quickly taking out the bullets, I flickered back, the bullets hidden in the only pocket I had at the moment-- my mouth. They tasted extremely nasty. Shooting the two guys, nothing came out, but they quickly scattered, fleeing out of the store, leaving the hostage behind, as amazed cheers came from everybody, and I felt the blood rushing to my face.
A pony quickly rushed out from behind, checking to see if I was okay. Quickly assuming he was the manager, I raised a hoof for him to stop, and rushed over to the hostage, and I quickly undid the tie. The hostage was a female, who winced at the bright light filtering through the windows of the store. A bandanna was choking her, and a stallion beside me quickly cut it out.
Glancing up at the cluster of ponies that surrounded her, she smiled, weakly. "Thanks for saving me. I'm Majesty. " She said to nopony in particular.
My Little Crystal: Love is Magic
I quickly became friends with Majesty, who opened my eyes to the treacherous town. Majesty was beautiful, but her family was very poor. When her family had kicked her out since they couldn't afford for her to stay, Majesty tried to find a job, but with a poor education, nothing seemed to work out. Soon, she revealed, she sold herself into prostitution, stripping down and loosing her innocence for the sake of not dying out on the streets. She said that she had been hired by the three men. She knew they were very unintelligent. When she had tried to trick them into paying more, they kidnapped her. For several days, they raped her mercilessly.
She had been more than grateful when I arranged for her to live in the room right next to me. Cadance sent me a care package every week, and I requested that she could send a few to Majesty, via letters. The princess was extremely excited about me making friends and helping out society. A few scraps of media had been at my door the next day after word got out. I got my name on the front page of The Equestrian Insider , and on the inside of several magazines and newspapers. I had clipped out the article and sent it to Cadance. She was very gleeful, and insisted to do something that she said Twilight Sparkle used to do with Celestia-- send a letter to her about what I learned.
I agreed.
Clashing Swords found me again a few days later, more than excited to invite me to a movie. I politely declined, showing him the stacks of paperwork I had to do. Masquerade was right-- my life was turning into paperwork. It turned out ambassador meant taking care of all the government's duties that had to do with Mirrorville. He seemed pretty depressed (so was I), but he quickly turned back to his cheerful self.
Yet, later, I had to depart from my four brand new friends (a world record) to go sit in my room and do nothing else but paperwork, until I heard the phone in my room ring. Nobody had the number, except for... Snatching it up, I heard the voice of nobody else but Paradise.
"Hey, there are two gentlecolts down here that want to talk to you, Twink. You might want to hurry. " Her voice was strained. I quickly teleported to the first floor, rushing to the front desk. Paradise looked relieved-- and surprised-- when I got there so fast.
"Miss Twinkling Glass, follow us. " The taller stallion neighed. They had hats-- fedoras, actually-- that covered their eyes from me, as they walked through the hallways, leading me to a small conference room, where they sat me down.
"Twinkling Glass, you are an incredibly gifted pony. You managed to take out three of Mirrorville's most wanted criminals alone, just off the top of your head. My partner and I have noticed this, and we did further research into you. You are a princess, along with an ambassador, providing you lethal relations. We have an offer for you. My name is not available for you to know until you agree, but the Crystal Heart celebration will be held here. We plan to retrieve the Crystal Heart to restore Sombra and his reign. We have an elite team of ponies, and we plan to assassinate Princess Cadance in the process. We want you to be the one to take her out. " The pony smiled-- the smile was evil, wicked, and I scrambled away, but the door was locked.
"We had have a feeling you'd say no. Take her out. " He nodded to the smaller stallion, who raced towards me, and I freaked out. Think. Think. Think.
I quickly teleported to the other side of the door, running for my life, sloppily blowing my hair to the side, making more fall into my face. There wasn't time to think about that now. The whole place was empty-- it was closing time. How? How had time gone so fast? They must have... A time charm! They sealed off the room to make time in there go so much slower than the outside, so in return they got a whole day's work done. Time charms usually had after effects on me, though, like dizziness, nausea... Oh Celestia. The headache hit me immediately, slowing me down. The doors were locked on the front. There was no security system, as people lived here, and they couldn't lock them in or out. The alarms would go off if you didn't have a key and broke through through the glass-- or teleported.
With a screech, just as she was about to slam into the door, she teleported, the wailing alarms going off and the ponies being caught dead center in the middle of the room, looking confused, the other one channeling massive amounts of energy. Sirens wailed in the distance, as three cop cars made it through the entry, rushing up to me.
"Stop! " The cop screamed at me, and I raised my hooves.
"Officer, there are two bandits inside who tried to kill m- " Suddenly a flash of light blinded me, and the cops began to yell as I heard glass shatter behind me. They were gone. The glass quickly flew up and repaired itself. Damn, this place had to be heavily charmed. They quickly ignored me, so I shoved my key in and headed upstairs. I had no time for this shit.
