It's been three years since Nightmare was defeated, but nightmare comes back making her reaize that she'd be alone if Celestia hadn't forgiven her. Feeling alone, she starts talking to Nightmare moon, which is forcefully causing her to push away her friends.
Then she meets an alicorn, who has a bad history.
