Chapter Six: Friends Forever.

“So what are you going to do now?” Flarania asked Barzano, who was sitting on his couch, it was about a week since they got home, and he was still recovering.

“Well, first, I’m going to buy a new skyship!” They laughed together. “Well, I’ll probably build my own.

“Really?”

“Yeah, ganna be sure to fire-proof it too!” They laughed again.

“How’s your side?”

“Getting better. Still can’t roll onto it.”

“It’ll heal!” Flarania hugged him, making sure not to touch his bandage.

“Mmmm! Thanks. When do you plan to go home?”

“Well, I was actually hoping I could stay here for a bit, seems like you could use some company,” Flarania said with a smile.

“‘Course you can stay here!” Barzano responded with a smile.

“Really? Great! Because uh, ya know….I….I really like you! In fact...I...uh,”

“It’s ok, you can say it,”

“I think I love you,” They stared into each other’s eyes for a few seconds before Barzano returned the phrase with a passionate kiss. “Wha-Oh!” Flarania’s eyes went wide.

“I think I love you too,” Bar told her. They both snuggled for a while before drifting off to sleep.
