Chapter 4; The Deal

I had another dream, Hell was back, Derpy face took that of a Minotaur whipping people I knew... "Oh my gosh.... I-.. didn't know... what a monster I've become...." Mumbling to myself.

Things happened again, this time, scenes with Derpy as my friend, it slowed towards the time I saw the moon and her crying. again it went white, sucked away in a toilet like motion. The Blue Horse now had Wings, and begun to speak "You must learn the magic, the magic of friendship, if thy wishes to continue..."

I woke once more, but strapped down to a table with a bright light beaming onto me. Groaning as I woke, I heard a couple familiar voices, I heard Twilight I believe, Applejack, and the fancy one from the stabbing, and one other, with a soft voice, most likely timid person. I asked in a sigh "Where am I now?"

Twilight began; "That's not important now Mike." Applejack soon after, "Yer wanting to get outta here, ya shoulda said sooner instead of rampaging everypony. a soft voice came saying "Stealing wasn't alright with me, when somepony steals, make a meal of them!" Another person with a fancied voice countered "I'm not quite so sure if you would want to eat this dirty thing Fluttershy."

"Sorry...." Fluttershy I assume said in response.Twilight darted back "Now, where in Equestria are you from?"

"Equestria?" I was honestly confused now "What the Hell is Equestria?" "Why, its the land you're in right now." The fancied voice responded.

"I'm not of these lands! I'm From EARTH, a planet much like this but in turmoil, destroyed, and probrably not suited for nice people." I stated, hoping to set them straight.

That seemed to work as Applejack asked Twilight what she thought, Twilight responded to me a second later "Destroyed? Did you destroy it like you plan to do here?" To think Rainbow Dash was arrogant enough.

Losing my patience, I began once more "Ugh, ya'll no better than that arrogant Rainbow Dash, I came here accidentally in refuge, I wish to leave as a plan of mine back fired when I started the first attack on your friend, but a pegasis name Derpy only wanted bullying of her to stop and-"

Being interrupted with such irony, was Rainbow Dash barging in and yelling, "I can't find Derpy anywhere!"
"Well no dip, did you check her house? Or you gonna start your third of four battles we have? go ahead, Stab my shoulder, it's damaged already." I said trying to piss her off so I could try and get out. Though to my surprise, they checked my shoulder to see a metal frame connecting bones, lacking skin. I've had that since I was 16, I caught fire at a convention for inventors.

I took that as a chance to catch sympathy; "Horrifying, Had that bitch for 6 years. Care to stab it still Dash? I won't feel a thing!"

Fluttershy responding first, "Please, watch your language, you poor thing..." "Fluttershy! Remember, he stabbed me too!" Rainbow Dash said, nearly yelling.

I again, tried to piss her "In self defence. Though now I'm regretting the fact that I did..."

Rainbow Dash Interjecting again "Oh play sorry now, nice try but-" I continued though "I should have killed you, your annoying and so fricking arrogant, you're worse than Treeman from asdf!"

I watched what little I could while silence ticked the clock. Soon another barged in with a male voice finally, but was squeaky saying; "Twilight! Twilight! Princess Celestia is here!"

"Alright, come on girls, lets go greet her." Twilight concluded. I thought a little bit on what to say before they left, and it hit me; "Great, I going to death sentence now, I'd thing that end it well, coming from a War filled land, just to be executed. Nice, let me take note of that, 'Don't run away from a war to another world, it kills you still..."

They slammed the door, and again there was silence, I sighed and started thinking, this was probably the end for me. I come to some alternate universe or time, only to be killed. That just pissed me off a bit, until I heard a crash through the window. "Derpy?!" I said in surprise as I could see in the newly sunlit room, the library. She responded as if it were her script; "To the rescue!!!"

Too my shock, she came back! Derpy Fricking Do, came back to save my sorry ass. She got me untied, and we got ready to depart, she left first. The interrogators entered the room once more, I was in the window at that point, saying the best terminator quote I could make up in that time "Hasta la vista, I got a friend ya know, I trusted one." Jumping out and running once again, running not looking back.

I went to the tree where I met Derpy, and she was there again. Finally looking back, nobody was chasing me. "My plan worked amazingly!" She said with great joy and excitement.

I came to the only revelation I could think of; "Thanks Derpy, I thought I was be-headed for sure. I'm sorry about earlier, but it is all true, I don't care if I'm from another world, Your my friend. and thats all that matters now."

Derpy and I hugged to be interrupted by a greatly accented voice; "Well Mike, I see you took my sister's advice. and made a friend bond that will stay ahold for a long time." I turned to see a big Unicorn/Pegasis who looked like royalty, with the 6 other ponys from the other day.

"Aww hell nawww... I ain't gonna go die, or rot in a dungeon." I said getting fight ready.

Twilight began to reason with me "That isn't going to happen, nor was it even planned, Princess Celestia was going to take you to Canterlot for research and help your attitude problem, and inform you of several missed details you require." I was trying to understand if what she said was true by tone of voice.

Just to have my thoughts cut off by Rainbow Dash's insult "I would like the Idea of an eternity of him in a dungeon..."

"ha ha, very funny, I forgot to laugh. Can you help that pest, she got ego problems." I said hopping for good results from this princess, I guess.

Celestia responded "Well since you did make a friend, you can stay here in Ponyville. Unless of course you want to inform me and figure out some things, we can head towards Canterlot. But I would like for you to get along with these 6. They bear the key Elements to the Magic of Friendship."

I was sorta baffled by what she meant, but I continued anyways "Ok, well 3 of them, I've never met, and only caught 4 of their names, I don't believe they are satisfied with your verdict."

Applejack began; "I forgive ya, sorry bout 'em apples yesterday." Followed by the purple unicorn "I'd atleast like an apology from when you raged at me." "And for Breaking my nose, stabbing my shoulder, and trying to attack me today!" Rainbow Dash demanded.

I had to figure this out a little, "Ok, cool your, hooves? I accept your apology Applejack, Twilight, I'm sorry but being alone with the sounds of Hell creeping around for 2 monthes wears a man down, and finally Rainbow Dash, I'm at least sorry for the attack today, that was my fault, the other times were all you, so I'd expect a little pity. As for the rest of ya, I'm Mike, I'm a war escapist from I guess another Universe, World, or maybe Time. Now, I had plans to escape this place, but Derpy came, saved me from ya'll, friends can change your actions dramatically, and how others think of you. Thus bringing my conclusion, I'm sorry for all the crazy duck n' goose I set up."

As for that, I was introduced to the other ponys, first, a pink, crazy, enthusiastic, excited, party loving, PINK pony named Pinkie Pie. Then came the fasionist, white with purple curled mane and tail, cleaned unicorn named Rarity. Finally, Fluttershy, a timid, butter-yellow pegasis with pink mane and tail, who also spoke softly. Once we were done with all of the introductions, the princess got my attention "Well Mike, I'd be taking you were looking for this."

She then revealed a familiar, hand-held machine, the one I've been looking for these last two days. She hands it over with some sort of magic that I didn't care about at the time. "My Coordinate Gun! The exact device I've been looking for! Lets see here..." I said with great anticipation and excitement. I'd finally beable to figure out what my machine actually done, where I am, and many other answers nobody would know. We all looked in curiosity, I knew mine was best. Finally, a bleep was heard, meaning it was done computing.

I read the report the machine gave me, "I am... No fricking way...."

"Is there something wrong?" Celestia said in concern.

"Uw! Uw! what is it? what is it?" Pinkie Pie asked with enthusiasm as she hopped up and down.

"I'm supposed not far from home, its saying my home is this way....." As I pointed, the unthinkable occurred, I saw the scorch mark in which I had teleported to. I am home. It might be buried but I'm not certain.

"But that's where we found you out cold at." Twilight said, she looked as baffled as I was myself, I came to a possible explanation, "This can't be... Do we have any excavators around here?" This time I noticed, Celestia's horn glowed as the dirt and grass came loose and was picked up and set aside. When this stopped, I had curiosity, but I picked one over the other. I walked over to the newly formed pit.

"Oh, good fricking lordeh..." I said with awe, "Its my basement..." The Others seemed shocked in awe as I apparently lived here before them.

Applejack began "So watcha saying is that you used to live in that pit?" I nodded and began my story once again "Two long, bloody ass months... I wouldn't be surprised if some bodies are found, but I survived a fricking apocalypse through not a teleporter, but a time machine! Now if only I can restore it and go back before the war, and stop it!"

With my words, the princess didn't seem too acquainted with my plan proposal, and began her thoughts; "Mike, I actually fear to this idea of your's changing the past like that won't do much good for us. In fact, we would not exist for this world of peace, we have been here for many thousands of years, and only few wars have past, none of them were even close to Nation wide. We would ask that you do not, but instead, possibly invite others of your kind who you can trust."

"I-..." left without words, I knew I was starting to tear up, not in sadness, but in joy.

Though the others believed I was shedding sadness, Derpy came up to comfort me until I surprised them all. "HELL YAH!!!!" I actually think I over did that, but I didn't care at the time, I'd be going see those who were being tortured in that hell-like dream, alive!

"Then we ask you only go, but you go to a time before your war, do not change the course of history, but removing people who can keep peace, such as family and friends." Celestia stated as she poofed in a scroll and unrolled it, showing a contract show what agreements and says we both have. "I must have you sign this contract to work on your time machine, otherwise, I will have to use force if you're caught building without the contract." she added. I read it over, repeating what she had just said. I had some funky feeling taking over me.

"Celestia," I paused for a moment to think this through, "I can't..." I said my thoughts to get everybody to gasp in surprise.

"Why the hay not?!" Rainbow Dash said in what was a confused/arguing tone. So I began my speech; "I've learned from my own ways, I was violent to ya'll, and now I consider ya'll my friends, my buddys, my family."

Everybody again was shocked in awe, I opened my arms wide, saying "Group hug? Friends?". To my surprise, I laid the tracks well and everybody hopped right in for the hug. For once in two monthes of war, I had people to talk to, to share my life with, to live for. I had everything placed and set up. once we were done hugging, we all got to a dinner picnic at the tree, as the sunset and Celestia gone, I finally felt like I found what they were talking about.

Friendship is Magic....
