Chapters Prologue
"BEEP BEEP BEEP" I wake up early in the morning and slam my alarm off.
"School again... At least it's almost the weekend." I yawn and get up, throwing some clothes on and head out, another usual week for me. I walk towards the entrance of the school, which surprisingly is right across the street, taking off my jacket and opening my locker once i get inside. "12 24 0" I open my locker and throw my backpack and clothes in there, getting my books and head to class.

I get home, and have dinner, my moms homemade lasagna excited for tomorrow, because I will be going to London as a school trip, I'd have to be pay of course, but I've always wanted to visit London. I would have to wake up earlier than usual, so I go to bed early, and tired, unaware of the glowing pillow.

Groggily I wake up my back soggy and rub my eye with my hoof.
"Hoof...WAIT HOOF?!?" I yelp in surprise and examine myself panicking. I look in a puddle.
"I'm a pony!" I yell to no one. "This is a dream.. Yes a dreeeaaaaammmm." I whisper and faint.
"I'M A PONY!" A PONY! AND WORST OF ALL.... I'M A FILLY! I SHOULD BE A MARE! I'M A STINKING CUTE LITTLE WHITE PEGASI FILLY WITH PINK HAIR!" I scream at the grass. "Oh no! I'm going to miss my school trip!" I cry out hopeless and watch a tumbleweed blow by as I try to figure out how to walk shakily trotting towards a welcome to Appleloosa sign. "At least now I know where I am... IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE APPLELOOSA!" How will i get back to earth? I burst into tears just as a group of ponies walks nearby. One of them walks towards me.
"Are you okay hun? Are you lost?" She asks me.
"What do you think? I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! No! I'm not okay!" I scream still angry. How could I be a My Little Pony?!? It's a TV show for gods sake!
"Everythings gonna be fine! I'll help you get back to your mommy! Where do you live sweetie?" She asks me in that tone you use when you talk to a toddler.
"I'm not a little kid!" I say just as an idea pops into my head. If I can't take a trip to London today, why not Ponyville?
"Of course you aren't!" She smiles at me using that tone again.
"Ponyville. I live in Ponyville. Will you take me there?"
"My that's very far away... Come with me, lets go ask the nice officer if he will take you home" She says and grins while herding me towards one of the ponies in the group in a police outfit.
"No! No police!" I say panicked as she ignores my protests, my trip will go to waste when they find out i don't exist!
"Who's this Peach?" He asks her.
"This is a little lost filly, she was crying over there, says she's from Ponyville-"
They push me towards another filly probably expecting me to play or something, and out of hearing range of their conversation.
I suppose they did that on purpose, but this is going to be trouble. "Hiya! My mom says your lost! How'd you get way out here all the way from Ponyville? You must of accidentally gotten on a train or something!"
Unable to answer her question I just say I woke up here kind of quietly.
"Did yah dose off on a cloud or something? Wow! Can i see you fly?" The filly says really loudly
"Uhhhh yes?" I say confused because she as talking faster than a hyena sprints.
"Well go on then!" She replies excitedly and stomping her front hooves.
"Go on then what?"
"Fly, silly!"
I hesitantly move my wings about to try them when the officer interrupts.
"Come on, time to take you to Ponyville, do you know your address?" He asks me walking me towards a train .
"Yes.. Uh just take me to Ponyville and I will walk there by myself.. Uh okay?"
"Nonsense, I'll walk you there to make sure you get home safely." He says walking towards a different section of the train before I get a chance to reply back.
"Darn it" I hmph crossing my front legs. This is going to be very bad. Very very bad.

Once we get off the train i thank the officer, just as he is saying lets get you to your parents, and make a run for it.
"Bushes!" I jump in one of the cartoony looking bushes and hide making a few rustling noises until I get into a comfortable position.
~Officer POV~
"Lets get you to your house-" The filly makes a dash for it "...Hun" I run after her a bit slower as I am out of practice.
~Violets POV~
I hear the officer look for me as I hide in the bushes. No one ever looks in the bushes. They are thorny! I hear him walk away, and when I think the coast is clear i come out. "Phew" I spit out some dirt and look around. "Oh no!" He got more police officers! They were everywhere. Where to go, where to go. "Twilights library!" It looks bigger then it does in the show. I run towards it, dashing behind something every once in a while until I get there. I walk in casually.
"Oh Hi!" Spike says as he carries a few books to put them on a shelf. "Do you want me to show you the picture books?"
"Um it's okay I just wanted to visit." I reply and look around pretending i'm just looking at books. A police pony comes in.
"There you are!" she exclaims and carries me out using magic from his horn as i struggle.
Ok Violet, just tell them the truth, that you are not really a pony and are a human, a bipedal hairless monkey like creature, ok? I think to myself. That's all i need to do.
"Why did you take off running like that from him?" She asked me

"I'll tell you the truth" I say as she watches.
"I'm not really a pony.. I'm a bipedal creature from a planet called earth" I say my heart beating fast. I look at the police ponies as they burst out laughing.
"Humans are an old mares tale!" One of them says laughing.
"Whats your name?" Asks the Appleloosa officers.
I use my real name. "Violet" I reply.
He nods and looks at something, kind of like a mini computer.
"It's like there's no trace of you" He says. "Do you really live in Ponyville?"
I can't think of anything, and I stupidly say "No?" as I back up tripping backwards over a rock and hitting my head on the hard path. Everything goes black.

Always prepare your wings before jumping out a window.
I woke up in the hospital, unknowingly "One more minute mum" i mumbled in my sleep, and turned over.
"She's awake!" A nurse whispered.
I opened my eyes, startled to hear this. Memories rushed back. I guess my tiny fragile pony body had hit the cobblestone pretty hard that I went unconscious. I'm still mad about being a pony though, I mean I might watch My Little Pony, but that doesn't mean i WANT to be a pony, does it?.... I thought observing my surroundings. The nurses left the room.
"Time to test these wings out" I whispered looking at the third story window. I hopped out of bed, and trotted towards it, the patient in the bed next to me staring at me as if to say "What the heck?" as I opened the window rushing before the nurses got back with the doctor. I hesitantly got up just as the door opened again and jumped out fast not prepared, just as I heard someone yell stop.
I panicked and opened my wings, slowing my decent, but I wasn't fast enough. It was the worst pain I had ever felt in my life, as I had never broke a bone before. I couldn't get up, the pain in my leg unbearable. I squeezed my eyes shut, regretting jumping out the window as I tried to ignore the pain and sat up opening my eyes again and observing some blood. I panicked as the doctor and a few nurses rushed out and started feeling dizzy from the blood loss. Everything went black again.
When I woke up i got a scolding, and them telling me I shouldn't have done that, because I could have broken my back, or even my neck. I argued back, telling them to let me go as I was eighteen and could tell them if I needed to stay in the hospital, because even if I had a broken leg i could take care of myself. I couldn't though because, at most I was five they said. I wouldn't think I was eighteen either. I eventually got pissed off.
"I AM A PERFECTLY FINE HUMAN BEING!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"Honey, humans aren't real." She replied, plastering on a big smile.
"Yet they are, because there is one in front of you right now!" I yelled as she shushed me.
The arguing continued until she eventually wrote something inside a paper in a folder carrying it out of the door and leaving me there screaming. When I noticed she was gone I shut up and hmphed pulling the blanket over my head. I don't know why they were making me lay in this thing anyways.

Parent / guardian : Most likely abandoned her.
Other: ]Continually saying she is an eighteen year old human, she has made up her own world and is living in it. Has jumped out a window to get away. Shows signs of mental and possibly physical abuse as she seems frightened of adults. The poor filly was probably abandoned or ran away and was found by a mare in Appleloosa crying and asking to go to Ponyville. Police will investigate.

I watched as a pony I had never seen before wheeled in a tray which I think has breakfast on it. Her mane was red, and she had pink fur, and she was a unicorn.
"Hi there! My names Strawberry Fizz! We are going to talk today!" She said in a syrupy type voice.
"Bloody hell they got me a therapist!" I whispered under my breath. Shit, she overheard, I watched her eyes widen.
"Young ponies like you should not be using swear words!" She said shocked. "Now go on and eat your food!"
I looked at the salad on the tray and the sandwich. The salad has daisies in it..... I also picked up the bread off the sandwich. Hay... HAY!?! Who puts hay inside a sandwich? HAY! Disgusting! And the milk shake or smoothie or whatever it is is green! I suddenly wasn't hungry anymore.
"Is there something wrong with the food?" Strawberry asked me concerned.
"I'm not hungry." I replied and watched her horn start glowing. The sandwich got lifted up as I watched confused.
"Young growing ponies need their energy." She said sternly as she force-fed me the sandwich was surprisingly good so I let her since I was pretty much starving since I had not eaten the day before.
"AGAIN with the young pony. I am not young NOR A PONY! Can you ponies not grasp that subject?" I scream at her
She looks worried. She probably thinks I'm about to have a tantrum. Well i'm not. I'm just pissed off because they think I am a child. Her face returns to normal, and she starts asking me questions, most of which I cannot answer like, "Do you know where you in Equestria you lived?" I just said I don't know to most of it which gave her the assumption that something terrible happened and that I don't want to remember. Well, nothing happened. I ask to go to the toilet, and she is about to come in, but I stop her. I stare at the toilet. How do I use that?... I try a few positions until I finally figure it out. I wash my hooves in what I guess is an equine sink and examine myself in the mirror and to waste time mess up with my mane, as I don't want to speak with the therapist much.
I guess I spent too much time in there as she comes in catching me messing up my mane. She looks at me in a weird way and herds me out of the bathroom, handing me a strange object. I stare at the object confused. She looks very surprised I don't know what it is as Strawberry takes it from me and shows me how to use it. It's a comb. Well she could have just told me! I thought. Eh what the heck though, I've got nothing better to do with my time so i take the comb and brush my hair as I listen to her.
"Guess what!" she asks with a big grin.
"What?" I ask in an annoyed tone.
"You're getting a foster family! That means a nice family is going to take you in!" She says cheerfully expecting me to be happy.
"I'm eighteen, I don't need to be fostered, I'm a perfectly mature adult that can take care of myself." I reply bitterly.
She looks at me sympathetically. "Hun, I know that some bad things might have happened to you in the past, but you got to let this being a human young adult stuff go! Now come on and lets meet your foster family!" She says gently. Okay lets get this over with, I roll my eyes and walk after her hesitantly wincing when I put weight on my broken leg. It felt better already though . Whatever they put on my leg was great!
For a year I had been staying with two strict foster parents who I didn't really like. One of them was named Aurora and the stallion was named Ice Pop. I couldn't talk back, and every time I said something about being a human I got grounded. That's why I am currently sitting on my bed in my new room with my hoofs crossed. I looked around observing the colors and things inside when Aurora came in.
"You're going to start grade one tomorrow" She said.
"I've already been to grade one. In fact, I already finished primary school!" I replied slightly irritated but getting used to being treated like a little kid. She replied saying I haven't and that it's bedtime. I didn't want to get punished in this boring room again so I went to bed.
The next day Aurora shook me awake and put a frilly pink bow on my head. I was about to take it off when she stopped me asking me to do this for her. I replied with an eye roll and kept it on, and she walked me to school. When I got there i sat down at a desk and ignored the teacher. Then I got called on.
"Violet what are we talking about?"
"Uhh.. Colors?" I replied surprised, and everyone started laughing at me so I stuck my tongue out which got me a visit to the principals office.
