"SUPER 6-4 WHERE ARE WE".
"IRENE ,GOD I LOVE THAT NAME" Michael Durant shouted above the roar of his Black hawk's rotor blades and their powerful engines to the ranger chalk team behind him in the cargo bay.
Chalk four lead by Staff sergeant Eversmann where just one of the four teams that were to hold a defensive perimeter so that the Delta force boys could snatch and grab two of Aidid's highest lieutenants the comms sparked to life again it was SUPER 6-1
"I HEAR YA THERE MIKE NOW LETS GO GET THOSE BASTARDS"
cliffs voice resounded over the whole of the radio assigned to task force ranger upon hearing this every ranger down the line simultaneously replied by giving a loud HOO-AH.
Clifton Wolcott was the pilot of SUPER 6-1 the Black hawk carrying another ranger chalk team in its belly Chalk team three where to be positioned two blocks west of Chalk four deploying via fast rope into the streets below and hold out until LTC Dan McKnight could reach them in a convoy of nine HUMVEES and three five-ton M939 trucks and get the whole of the task force out.
SUPER 6-4 and 6-1 where to wheel around the west while the Delta operatives and the rest of the chalk teams to wheel around the east.
"I'n and out in thirty boys last one back home buys the first round" Michael didn't need to shout as the hawk's comms where working now.
"your on mike" Cliff replied in a jokey manner both of the Hawk's rotors now picking up enough speed to keep them airborne as every single one of the
UH-60's and MH-6's involved in the operation rose skyward while two Hawk's and all the little birds turned east two other Hawks 6-1 and 6-4 turned and banked westwards.
"This is super 6-1 and 6-4 we are airborne i repeat we are airborne" Michael spoke into the mic to Romeo 6-4 the Hawk would be the eyes and ear's of the general.
"copy on your last 6-4. Too all task force ranger callsigns Irene i repeat Irene operation is green light" the airmen's voice crackled back over the staticky comms as the two groups parted.
October 3rd

forty five minutes since green light.
"SUPER 6-4 this is SUPER 6-1 do you copy" Michael tried to get a response from the suddenly missing UH-60 as static was the only thing that replied each time.
"SUPER 6-1 where the hell are you why wont you respond damn it" Michael resisted the urge to punch the comm unit when he looked outside it was as if he had gone through a portal to a completely different place instead of the sprawling urban city of Mogadishu, Michael saw a colourful landscape with no extremely advanced civilisation and what seemed like a completely peaceful place no wars no fighting no violence nothing of the sort suddenly the radio crackled into life again.
"SUPER 6-4 where the hell are we?" Cliff's voice resounded through the radio on every ranger and pilot on the two Hawk's.
"I don't know mike but something tells me we ain't gonna get that round i promised" the lone black hawks flew through the sky in a tight side by side formation banking left both of the aircraft pulled out of a extremely big patch of cloud cover Michael heard Cliff over the radio again.
"Hey there's a town we'll touch down their okay deploy chalk four on the north side and chalk two on the south then one of the D-boys on the east and west how copy buddy" Michael went over the plan in his head again and again trying to work out any flaws.
He couldn't come up with any.
"Okay just watch out we don't know whats down there could be hostile" Michael eventually breathed out when a ranger spoke over the comms.
"I suggest we fast rope in. Plain. Fast. Simple. Efficient." the ranger in question was Eversmen, Michael replied.
"Right then fast rope north corner of the settlement it is then.Oh and before you go Matt." the ranger turned to face him.
"Lead the way" the ranger smiled and gave a fake two fingered salute the kind you'd give to a kid when you told him you were military.
"I plan to night stalker" at that the two hawk's left each other and dropped of
the two ranger teams on the north and south corners of the town.
"SUPER 6-4 this is Chalk four we are oscar mike to RV how copy" Matt spoke over the radio as the fast rope cord was dropped down below with the rangers in a circle around it.
"Chalk four this is SUPER 6-4 i copy proceeding to east corner to unload cargo and will provide air support copy" Michael's fuzzy voice replied back to him as the rotor blades went from a deafening noise to a faint whuump whuump whuump in the background.
Matt looked to his squad and ordered them to split up half on one side of the street and half on the other.
"Check your corners boys don't want any nasty surprises today." the rangers proceeded down the street until they hit a two way split and in the middle was what looked like a town square.
"Well shit that was quick. SUPER 6-4 this is Chalk four we have arrived at RV point awaiting extraction." Matt waited a couple of minutes before the reply came through.
"Chalk four this is SUPER 6-4 i copy hold position until the D-boys and Chalk two RV with you over" Matt pressed the comms button again.
"I copy will hold out until extraction out. Right then lets move defensive perimeter around the statue LETS HUSTLE!" Matt shouted to the rangers in his command what the rangers didn't know was that a blue pony with a rainbow mane was watching them the whole time suddenly the rainbow mane rushed off.
"Oh my god twilight have you seen them i-i think there invading" twilight looked around to see the element of loyalty on the floor having suddenly crashed through her window sighing twilight looked outside.
"what are you talking about rainbow there's nothing out side" when twilight finished a massive black object shot over the library and began circling around the square making twilight jump at the sudden movement. Looking closer twilight saw people in the front of the machine wearing weird helmets turning to look back at rainbow dash she said.p
"Rainbow dash there's nothing wrong with them there not here to invade look there's people in the front of it" she said pointing towards the UH-60 when a burst of orange light erupted from the side of the object.
"CONTACT there's something out there and there moving in on our position we have one casualty and requesting fire support now" Matt shouted into the mic positioned just in front if his face.
"Chalk four this is SUPER 6-4 copy am oscar mike to you position and providing gunner support" those last three words made Matt feel a lot safer when the UH-60 screamed above his head and turned to give the gunner a firing range.
"Chalk four this is SUPER 6-4 crewman i have ID on your targets firing now" the airman unleashed a torrent of burning hot lead onto the creatures below ripping them to shreds and sending bits of flesh and muscle tissue everywhere.
"HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT THING IT LOOKS LIKE A CROSS OF A LION AND A SCORPION" Michael had looked out the side window to see a huge creature being torn to shreds by the vulcan cannon.
"Uh twilight are you sure there not here to invade now?" twilights friend rainbow looked at her slightly annoyed and slightly smug that she was right.
"Yes okay i believe you but how can we bring that thing down with out hruting the people inside." twilight wanted to stop them hurting other ponies but didn't want to hurt the people in it.
"Don't you have a spell that can ground pegasi or something like stop them from flying?" rainbow said a bit matter-of-factly twilight remembering that she did rushed over to the window and tried to concentrate on grounding the object.
"SUPER 6-4 YOU GOT SOMETHING ON YOU THREE O'CLOCK WATCH IT!" Matt had noticed a bright light collecting in the window of a house and he had guessed its trajectory.
Straight into SUPER 6-4.
Michael looked to his three o'clock seeing a bright light aimed directly at him he instantly drove the control column forward in a effort to escape it.
Too late.
The white light burst from the window and streaked it's way across the sky eventually landing and hitting the tail rotor.
"This is SUPER 6-4 we are hit and have lost control of our tail rotor...Where going down" Matt heard Michael over the radio he sounded calm despite what was happening but he knew that Michael was struggling to keep her airborne and what was strange was there was no smoke or fire on the tail rotor it had just stopped working.
"SUPER 6-4 you look fine the tail rotors not belching smoke and there's no fire whats the problem?" Matt shouted over his squad shooting at the half lion half scorpion things.
"We've lost all control from the tail rotor and the left engine and..Wait hold that i just got control back on the tail rotor and the left engine were bugging out guys NOW" Matt watched the hawk descend and the wheels flex as it took they weight of the 5.2 ton metal beast. Sprinting full pelt at the door Matt flung himself in.
"SUPER 6-1 SUPER 6-4 do you read where are you over" Romeo 6-4 was circling high above Mogadishu.
"Sir we've lost contact with SUPER 6-1 and SUPER 6-4 and both Chalk teams" back at the somalian airport Major General William Garrison took in the information that was being relayed back to him.
"Pull the plug on the op we have two chalk teams missing i repeat op is cancelled get my men outta there" Garrison shouted to the man on the radio to Romeo 6-4.
"Romeo 6-4 this overlord mission is FUBAR i repeat mission has gone FUBAR two units missing possibly AWOL.Abort all personnel immediately" the radio operator spoke into the comm link directly to Romeo 6-4.
"Overlord this is Romeo 6-4 copy your last mission abort all task force ranger units mission abort pull out now" the crackly voice went to every Delta and ranger operative out there the first chalk teams were two minutes from being deployed.
"Do we know who went AWOL?" Garrison asked the radio operator.
"Uh it looks like SUPER 6-1 and 6-4 and the two Chalk teams too sir" the operator turned to see a red faced major slightly shaking.
"Corporal" the general still literally fuming.
"Y-yes sir" his voice wavered a little
"Remind me to court martial every single ranger and pilot aboard those two Black hawks and then lock them in jail for going AWOL in the middle of a UN peacekeeping mission!" the corporal jumped back a little at the end of the sentence.
"So uh guys anyone know what the fuck those things down there were ya know the ones that ALMOST KILLED ME!" Matt Eversman heard one of his rangers shout in protest.
"That thing was a manticore some kind of creature with a mix of a lion and a scorpion" Matt shouted back to him not taking his eyes from the sunset. It looked like something you would see in a dream the hills shone bright as day, the waterfalls from the cliff city (canterlot) sparkling like they had been made of pure liquidated diamond and the general colours of the landscape put it all together Matt sighed inwardly.
"i wish it were like this back home" looking back into the cargo bay of the Black Hawk Matt saw his chalk team, chalk four remembering what there mission was Matt wondered what had happened when they were reported missing had the op been called of had they just thinned out two ranger teams to hold the perimeter so many questions and no answers suddenly every one was silent.
Matt turned around to look at his Chalk team.
"what the hell are all of you gawking at" off in the distance Matt saw a implosion on the horizon what followed was unexpected a rainbow circle emanated from the epicentre and streaking towards them at unimaginable speeds was a rainbow and some how it was able to turn.
"Sarge what the fuck is that i swear rainbows are just the sun and rain i see sun light but no rai.." the ranger didn't finish as what happened next stunned everyone the rainbow flew straight through the cargo bay knocking Matt of balance and throwing him five metres from the bird.
"SHIT SARGE!!" Matt heard one of his rangers shout and fingers just slip though his BDU.
"So this is it...this is how its going to end knocked out of a bird some 8,000 feet in the air" Matt closed his eyes as the ground rushed up to him and suddenly he stopped with the ground inches from his face.
feeling something grab his waist he turned around.
"W-what the fuck are you" Matt had never stuttered in his life and the sight of the cyan blue pony made him break that record the pony let go of him and dropped him on his face.
"So no thanks for saving your life then huh" a tomboy voice replied Matt looked up he could see who had saved him clearer now it was defiantly a cyan blue pony and it...had....wings.
What the fuck kind of a world is this flying rainbows wing ponies what next magic Matt thought inwardly looking the pegasus up and down and finally resting on her flank.
She was obviously offended as she protested and Matt got a hoof to the side of the face jumping up and pulling out his beretta 93 he took two steps back and aimed at the ponies head.
"Stay there!" Matt shouted at the pony.
"You knocked me out of my bird just a couple of seconds ago didn't you and now you assault me? some hero" Matt gripped the Beretta hard his hands were almost shaking.
Almost.
"You were staring at my flank what else would i do!" the pony protested.
"I WAS LOOKING AT THAT THING ON YOUR FLANK." Matt calmed down before continuing.
"Look I'm going to put this away now and we'll start over okay" Matt released the grip on his pistol and put it in his holster again.
"Okay who are you and whats that on your flank" Matt indicated with a flick of his finger the ponies face blew up as she explained who she was.
"I'm Rainbow Dash the one and only fastest flyer in all of Equestria." finishing with a loop de loop and a smug grim spreading across her face.
"And this beauty here" looking at her flank
"Is my cuite-mark it's what tells us what our special talent is mine as you guessed it is flying fast and doing a SONIC RAINBOOM!" another grin spreading across her face and slightly on Matt's.
"I's that by anychance what just happened back up there where you knocked me from the bird." Matt jutted a thumb up in the air as the Hawk flew over him and landed a couple of metres away.
"Yeah uh..sorry bout that i didn't mean to ya know make you fall out of it" she was embarressed as her cheeks had gone rose red and she was rubbing the back of her neck she suddenly stopped and looked straight at Matt.
"I just realised your not from here are you. follow me and I'l show you my friends back in ponyville" Matt looked to Michael who was looking straight back at him after a few minutes Durant just shrugged and Matt jumped in the back and the flew off after the pegasus pony into ponyville.
"I got a bad feeling about this".

The two black hawks caught up with rainbow who had not held back at all going full pelt towards ponyville.
"I have a bad feeling about when we get their" that sickening feeling wouldn't leave Matt alone.
"ETA in five boys go in kind and loving" Matt had heard the pilot guffaw as he tried to hold back the onslaught of laughs at hearing that the worlds inhabitants were peace loving kind tolerant and loving ponies.
Oh and they had a princess who not only was royalty but a goddess who could raise the sun.
"This is it first proper contact." turning around Matt looked at his squad again.
"No hostilities to these people okay. None" Matt put emphasis on the words hostilities and none so that the chalk team got his point.
"jesus first time commanding a chalk team and this shit happens" Matt thought sourly below him the first signs of habitation were beginning to appear the odd paved track and house here and there and after what felt like seconds they were hovering over a town square filled with ponies all looking up at the two Hawks.
"Awkward moment or what eh ranger" Michael shouted back whilst concentrating on landing the bird without hitting anything and destroying or hurting anyone or anything.
"You can say that again" Matt leaped out when they touched the ground every stallion, mare, colt and filly where staring at them waiting for someone to break the silence. In the end Rainbow dash did flying upwards above the clouds then looking down and gesturing at someone to hurry up.
"Come on it's just through here." she was still gesturing to someone in the and Matt could see them getting closer as he saw heads being shoved aside and them protesting to the new comers.
Eventually they got to the front and standing in front of Matt where five ponies two with horns on their heads one with wings like rainbow and two that looked just like..well..normal ponies the two groups stood gawking at each other until the orange one stepped forward.
"Well a'h guess i'l introduce myself first." she looked back to the other as she spoke in a southern american drawl.
"Name's Applejack pleasure ta meet ya" Applejack walked up to Matt and grabbed his hand with two hoof's and started shaking his hand roughly until a white mare interrupted her.
"Applejack dear i think that is enough for now don't you" her voice was elegant and sophisticated, Applejack looked at the white mare and back to Matt repeating the process again two more times and ended with a sheepish smile.
"Now i think it is high time i introduced myself my name is Rarity it is lovely to meet you" Rarity finished with a slight curtsey. When Rarity had finished Matt had realised there where five when they first saw them now there where only four.
"Hey weren't there five of you a minute ago..WOAH" Matt finished with a pink pony with a over sized smile on her face and pink bouncy cotton candy like hair
landing on top of him.
"Heytheremynamespinkiepieitsnicetomeetyouheyijustrealisedyournewhereso
thatmustmeanyoudonthaveandfriendsheresoithoughaboutthrowingyouawelcometopomyvillestranhepeopleparty YAY" Matt looked to the ponies behind the one on top of him with a confused look on his face.
"What on god's earth did she just say?!" the purple one with a horn on her head stepped forward and a faint purple haze enveloped the pink mare.
"She just said she would like to throw you a party because you don't come from around here and that must mean you have no friends. My names Twilight Sparkle by the way" Twilight smiled when she finished dropping the pink pony next to her and turned her head to another one of the ponies this one had a smooth flowing pink mane and a light yellow coat with sparkling emerald green eyes.
"Go on Fluttershy say hi" Twilight tried to encourage the yellow one called Fluttershy she gulped and took a few steps forward timidly.
"M-m-my n-n-names Fluttershy" it came out as a near inaudible squeak Matt leaned in towards the yellow pony.
"What i didn't quite get that"
"Flutte-squeak-" she didn't finish as she was to nervous the poor mare looked at the ground and saw her legs shaking rapidly and then her teeth started chattering and she started to shake Matt backed off a little to try and calm her down.
"I'm sorry about that as you can see shes quite shy" Twilight was looking at Matt.
"It's fine i was shy as hell before i joined the rangers" it was a lie Matt had been the most brash in his entire class in school all ways getting into trouble with the teachers Matt remembered one of them saying that he wouldn't get far at all in life Matt laughed a little bit inwardly "just look at me now then why don't you a sergeant in the 75th rangers wouldn't get far my ass". After the introduction of Rainbow's friends Matt introduced himself his team and just as he was about to mention the pilots Michael walked out with his flight helmet in between his hip and his arm and looking straight at Matt.
"Problem ranger. We ain't got enough fuel to go airborne again SUPER's outta juice we ain't goin nowhere." Matt turned around to his team and then back to Michael.
"But if that bird isn't going skyward that means there's no." Michael finished for Matt.
"Way home. I know until we find some kind of fuel source we are stuck here." Matt felt sick at the prospect of not going home not seeing his boy grow up, get a job have a family and the most important he wouldn't be there for any of it.Matt walked towards the hawk and sat down on the edge of the cargo bay and uttered one single word.
Fuck.
SUPER 6-4 where the hell are we!
"Uh Matt are you all right you were fine a minute ago?" Twilight inquired looking at the ranger with a worried look on her face. Matt didn't respond instead standing up whilst taking off his helmet and letting it fall to the floor everything was in slow-motion for Matt he didn't near twilight her friends or the dull thud of his helmet connecting with the ground.
"Yeah I." Matt paused and looked up at twilight and her friends then to his chalk team.
"Just give me a minute" he walked off solemnly with his head down and his rifle in his hand Twilight went to try and catch up to him but felt a hoof grab her shoulder turning around to see Applejack holding her back.
"No Twilight best to leave him be" the cowpony shook her head slowly and looked deep into Twilight's eyes sighing Twilight shrugged Applejack's hoof off her shoulder.

"I just don't understand whats wrong with him. I mean he was all smiling and happy before the one called Michael mentioned them not being able to get home again" Twilight sighed as the rest of her friends watched her trot around the library.
"Maybe Twilight we shouldn't go on a'h bout it no more. Ya'll saw how hurt he was." Applejack was looking around the room and received nods from every pony except Twilight.
"But what if he does something dramatic Applejack what if he hurts himself?" Twilight sounded genuinely concerned for Matt she was about to speak again but was cut off from someone opening the door.
"I have to agree with Applejack,Twilight. Matts tough its just that its his kid's birthday in a couple of days and the thought of not being there devastated him" everypony in the room turned to look at Michael.
"And before you try and argue Twilight he ain't gonna do nothing brash or dramatic." Twilight hung her head in defeat but brought it back up with a slight smile.
"I cant get back home? But there has to be a way back home i cant just let my family forget about me." Matt spoke to no one in particular. What Matt hadn't seen where ten pairs of glowing eyes looking straight at him. Matt heard a low almost inaudible growl almost like the one of a wolf spinning around with his rifle raised Matt looked through the bush line scanning for targets scanning left and right looking through the green brown and a little bit of amber colours of the forest.
"Wait amber? forest's don't contain amber unless it's spring and it ain't spring just now." Matt whipped his rifle to where he saw the amber and sure enough they were there two small dots of glowing amber Matt started to look around him as there was only one animal he knew that had amber eyes.
Wolves.
And they love to travel in packs and slowly but surely Matt could see more amber dots in the brush spinning around Matt counted at least ten pairs of amber eyes looking at him then one of them made a move it leaped out of the bush and straight towards Matt and landing heavily on top of him knocking the breath from his lungs. The wolf's mouth was only a few inches away from his face snapping and snarling only being held back by his rifle Matt drew his side arm and squeezed the trigger sending a 9mm round straight into the wolfs belly. Standing up Matt looked around and saw the rest of the wolves were out in the open now all snarling and baring teeth at him and right in front of him was the largest one of the pack the alpha male Matt thought.
"Fuck i hate these odds ten to one and if i shoot one then they'l rip me to shreds" situations and scenarios flashed through Matts mind when he heard that familiar southern drawl and saw three stones smack with deadly accuracy into three of the wolves quickly followed by the sharp barking of multiple rifles being discharged all of the wolves dropped down in what seemed like seconds Michael came rushing over to him.
"Hey ranger you okay." the pilot had a look of worry on his face it was only then that Matt had noticed that all the wolves were made from odd bits of wood and when they died that wood just fell apart.
"Yeah I'm good what are those things anyway" Matt replied whilst jutting a thumb over his shoulder.
"Those are timber wolves they attack anything they find and then they kill anypony who's unlucky enough to have come across them" Twilight spoke up looking around at the dead timber wolves thats exactly what they were wolves made out of stray bits of timber.
"Hey how did you find me anyway i never told you where i was going?" Matt asked the small rescue group.
"Well after you left we realised you went in the direction of the everfree forest and we set out to try and find you before anything else could." looking around at the wolves again.
"I think we were a bit late for that but we have to get out of here there's manticores and hydras and all other kind's of things that could easily kill us all" Twilight spoke with urgency the whole group looked behind there shoulders just to make sure then they all set of on a light run back to ponyville Twilight moved closer to Matt to talk to him.
"When we get back there's someone i want you too meet" Matt looked at her confused.
"I thought we met everyone you knew?" Matt looked over to twilight.
"Not everyone" she replied as she galloped ahead of Matt.

When they reached ponyville Matt saw a crowd it had to hold at least half of ponyville's occupants and they were all crowding around a golden chariot and a rather large looking pony Matt could only see her flowing multi coloured mane and a little bit of her horn on her head. It didn't take much to know that this is the princess twilight was on about as she had talked about so much and we had only met only a few hours ago twilight trotted up to the back of the group and started jumping up and down whilst shouting her name.
"Princess" jump "it's me" another jump "Twilight" and another " your faithful" i grabbed her before she could jump again and pointed out that she had already seen and heard her and was moving through the crowd to her, her cheeks flushed red and she smiled sheepishly again behind us the princess had moved through the crowd Matt noticed everyone was bowing to her Matt just kept standing up as the princess aproached.
"Twilight my faithful student i have not seen you for such a long time and it is nice to be back in ponyville." the princess said with a smile and turned to look at Matt and his team.
"So..These are the beings you had told me about. And what about their flying machine?" she gave a quizzical look to Matt and then to Twilight Michael stepped forward and replied for Matt.
"We can show you now if you want or we can show you later either one's good for me." the princess looked to Michael and then to Matt and finally Twilight.
"I would like to see it now please um.." the princess was obviously looking for his name.
"Michael. Michael Durant and this is Matt Eversmann" Michael pointed at the ranger.
"Thank you mister Durant i am Princess Celestia now if would be so kind as to show me this.." she paused to find a name for the contraption Twilight had told her about.
"Black hawk. Yeah sure follow me." Matt watched as Michael lead the princess to the hawks last touchdown site.
Michael strolled towards his trusty black hawk. SUPER 6-4 and beside it was SUPER 6-1 they hadn't moved a inch well they couldn't they don't have any fuel Michael thought to himself as he looked back to Celestia she looked on at the hawk with amazement circling around more than once without looking at him she asked him
"And you fly these for work?" Michael smiled he loved his job in the USAF
"Yes ma'am i sure do" Michael still smiling hoped inside the cargo bay and beckoned Celestia inside as she stepped in her horn hit the top of the cargo bay she let out a small yelp but sat down afterwards regaining her composure quickly.
"So you also say this thing can fly" Celestia was gently rubbing her horn after hitting it against the canopy roof whilst looking around the black hawk with awe Michael started to explain everything in the canopy when he mentioned the GAU-17 mini-guns on the side and explained them too she perked up and looked at them with a slight look of hatred in her eyes, noticing this Michael quickly went to the cockpit to explain everything in their in great detail too.
"And thats all of the tour i wish i could show you how it flies but we dont have any fuel to fill up the tank with and with no fuel and a empty gas tank we aren't going anywhere" Michael looked back to the princess who was sitting down staring at all the little buttons she awoke from her day dream and looked up at him.
"And what does this fuel look like?" she inquired looking at the buttons again with interest this time.
"well it kinda looks like black water but ya cant see through it and it can be quite sticky and is extremely flammable but even if we did find oil which is what fuel is made from, i don't know the conversion process and at that it's extremely complicated" Michael looked back to Celestia who had already brought her head up slower this time to avoid hitting her horn on the roof again.
"We have heard of this oil you speak of and we know where it comes from but the only problem is that the country who owns this oil we are on bad relations at the minute. The peace corps are in Saddle-Arabia at the minute trying to calm things down but nothing is working not only that but we are worried that Saddle-Arabia is trying to use this oil to gain military power and Equestria and Saddle-Arabia haven't had the best of history's together" Celestia had taken a stern look about her face at the notion of Saddle-Arabia Michael replied with a look of confusion.
"So what's got Saddle-Arabia so mad that they think they need military power" smiling then realising he shouldn't have as Celestia shot back at him.
"If Saddle-Arabia gets out of control then all of Equestria and other nations will fall the whole world will be ruled under a iron hoof and there will be no peace no harmony and no love or friendship and nothing will stop them when they are done with Equestria!" Celestia snapped at Michael quieting down after a while she realised what she had said and started to blush.
"I-I am sorry Michael it just that i fear for my subjects. I am sorry i lost my temper" Celestia started shuffling to the side door and Michael hopped out the pilot's door.
"Don't worry about it if i was some high and mighty ruler and was about to be attacked i be scared for my people too" when Michael finished a white light flashed in front of them and a blue-violet unicorn with wings and aquamarine eyes was looking at them.
"Luna my sister what is the matter? why are you hear i thought you were helping the peace corps with the incident in Saddle-Arabia?" Celestia questioned her younger sister who was commander and chief of the Equestrian armed forces.
"That is exactly the matter sister. The Equestrian peace corps has been attacked by Arabian forces and are withdrawing from the area whilst more and more Arabian forces are amassing at the border between Equestria and Saddle-Arabia. Sister war is coming to Equestria."
SUPER 6-4 where the hell are we!
Celestia's face drained of any colour on her regal white face, and her mane hung by the side of her face devoid of any life it once had.
"h-how is this possible. We cannot hope to stand against the arabians" the princess sat down heavily and let out a long breath. Matt looked at the defeated princess and stepped forward.
"Uh we could help" the two sister monarchs looked towards Matt "Me and my men i mean. The hawks would be out of commission until we find fuel but that still leaves two seven man teams of rangers"
The lunar princess looked at the Ranger and then back to Celestia before resting her gaze back on Matt.
"We would much appreciate your help Sergeant" luna sat down next to her sister and wrapped a wing around her comforting the princess while Matt walked off to find his team.
"They're either in the canteen or in the bunks" Matt said aloud whilst walking towards the canteen. After quite a few twists and turns Matt found the canteen with two full teams of rangers sitting eating and chatting all together.
"Enjoying the food are we" Matt asked as he sat down next to Michael
"Its good....but would kill for a bit of bacon sarge" one of the rangers shouted down the line causing the whole table to erupt in laughter
"Yeah me too......sadly the ponies are vegetarians." Matt looked down the table again and donned a stern face
"Were going in. The saddle-arabians are threatening this country and we are going to help protect it. everyone understand" all the rangers and pilots down the line replied with either a simple nod or a yes sarge. Matt put his open hand down heavily on the table and stood up.
"Good.....i cant say when were going in but check your gear....were rangers our gear gets cleaned because it saves your life respect it and it will respect you" Matt stood and as he left grabbed a apple from the counter and took a bite.
"I aint going to like this i can tell".

Two weeks later
"We got a man down. I repeat we got a man down and were getting over run" Matt popped his head up above the concrete block to see the technical still there and brought it down fast as a few rounds smacked into the concrete where his head was just seconds ago.
"I want that thing dealt with now!" in response a ranger stepped out from behind a pillar and fired his M203 grenade launcher at the technical and dived back behind the pillar.seconds later the grenade impacted on the vehicle flipping it over on its front and killing the gunner on-board.
"Lets move we need to get outta here!" Matt jumped up and signalled for his men to move "Come on lets get outta here. Move it lets go!" Matt paused and fired his rifle at the griffons and arabians before running to catch up with his men
"come on just a little further till we cross the border!" Matt turned a corner to see three trucks ready and waiting two filled with a QRF of the royal guard 75th special ops brigade and one empty for the rangers. Matt rushed up and helped his men in looking round the corner before jumping in himself they sped away from the combat zone.
Base of mount Canterlot
Thirty kilometres underground.
The drill machine chewed through rock and dirt like a hot knife going through butter unearthing gems such as diamonds Ruby's emeralds and Fire Ruby's. But the object the drill team where looking for was not in any way a form of solid suddenly the drills jerked to a halt all the team members look at it and rushed over pulling it from the gaping hole. Deep down in the newly excavated hole was what seemed like a endless sea of black. pausing the leader brought his head up from the hole.
"Inform the princess.....we found what were looking for"
Michael threw his feet up onto the desk and sighed heavily "Those ranger boys get all the action and I'm sitting here doing fuck all" he exclaimed to himself when Captain Shining Armour walked in Michael quickly stood up straight and saluted which Shining copied and saluted back.
"At ease Michael" Shining walked over to a coffee machine "you want anything to drink?" he asked without looking back at him.
"Coffee please sir." Michael responded relaxing a little and watching the Captain make his drink and walk over to him with two steaming cups of coffee held in a blue aura -that Michael had learned was the unicorns magic- and set them down infront of him and waved a hoof at him.
"No need for the formalities Michael. I can see being stuck inside all this time has got to you huh" Shining looked around the mess of a room that was supposed to be the chiefs office Michael blushed a little and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah i guess i was always a field kinda guy" Shining looked up at him.
"Have a seat and relax your going to be flying again relatively soon" Shining began to smile at the look on Michaels face and sighed.
"You humans and your passions.....well i guess everyone needs a hobby don't they. As we speak a drill team is lowering a transport pipe in to the oil lake there it will be transported to the royal engineer corps to be converted into fuel for your....what was it you called it a hawk?" Michael nodded and began to smile greatly.
"A black hawk" Michael took a gulp of his coffee feeling it burn the inside of his throat and fall into the pit of his stomach satisfied he stood up and walked to the door.
"If you'll excuse me Captain.....im going to go check on her" Michael saluted and exited heading off towards the makeshift hanger that had been built for it.
Shining watched the human leave and laughed lightly and looked down at his mug.
"I dont even like coffee" he sighed and laughed a little whilst walking over to the sink and disposing of the earth brown coloured beverage.
