Not Her Best Morning

Noire opened her eyes, smiling faintly, she had a warm glow of good feeling surrounding her. She couldn’t put her hoof on it, but it was just a nice tingly sensation in her mind as she woke up slowly. Without really looking in front of her, she snuggled closer to the warm, fuzzy object she was wrapped around before her eyes shot open. There was somepony else in her bed.

Her eyes met the face of a maroon mare, still sleeping peacefully until Noire cried out, making the pony next to her open her eyes blearily and give a wide yawn, stretching.

“Hey sweetheart!” Arils said, grinning up at her. “Morning!” Noire looked mortified at the thought that she might have...no, perish the thought, she wouldn’t...

“You and I didn’t...we didn’t...” She mashed her hooves together to poorly simulate exactly what she was talking about. Arils peeked under the covered and gave Noire a soft pat on the back coupled with a reassuring smile.

“Relax, we didn’t do anything last night.” The grey detective let out a sigh of relief, relaxing against the bed. She was interrupted by Arils, who was laughing suddenly. “Just kidding hun, we totally did it! Seriously, don’t you remember?” Noire’s eyes narrowed suspiciously in an inclination of suspicion considering Arils’s joking nature.

“No! Really! Check out the stains, right here, and here, and here...” The grey pony’s topaz irises now grew as memories from the night before came flooding back as she looked down at the bed, too shocked for movement. “Hmmm, considering you were completely wrapped around me I’m pretty sticky too, and safe to say you weren’t the only one who...hun?”

Arils waved a hoof in front of Noire’s face, which had grown very red, as soon as she was brought back to her senses, the detective brought the sheet up to her face to cover up her embarrassment.

“Please leave...” She said in a muffled voice, trying to make herself scarce among the bedding.

“Hey! I didn’t think this was a one-night stand thing hun...besides, you’re forgetting I live here.” Noire rolled over, now only a little ball of sheets with a grey muzzle sticking out of the front.

“Just go...please?” Arils shook her head and trotted over to the detective.

“No way, no how. I want to make you feel better!” Noire sighed, she knew Arils had good intentions, but the fact remained that- “And endorphins make you feel great! You up for round two?” Arils always teased her with the prospect of sex, but now that those situations were very possible between them...

Noire bundled herself up even further and let out a groan. This was going to be one of those days.

“Hey, relax! I don’t know if you remember, but you were positively melting in my hooves, I mean, I can make ponies happy, but WOW, you were flying off the handle! When was the last time you did ‘it’ with somepony?”

“Seven years...” Noire said quietly, making Arils’s ears stand on end. “This is technically my second time...”

“Oh, well that explains a lot.” She said, making Noire sink into th ebed even further and let out an even louder groan. “No no! Not in a bad way!” She said, trying to reassure the grey pony. “You were just enjoying it a lot...I mean, for starters, you were really, really loud.”

“Please Arils, just be quiet...” Noire groaned, bundling herself up further. Arils stopped speaking, gave the bundle a concerned look, and trotted out of the room. Eventually, after wallowing in shame (and admittedly, some other things she’d rather not wallow in) for a few moments, Noire got up and looked at the clock.

It was 9:30. On a Wednesday.
