DBZ the Pony assistance
A night at the library
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"I can't do this." Goku said as they entered the room and Vegeta closing the door behind him.
"What do you mean?" asked Vegeta
"She's too smart. I mean, Gohan would of had a hard time keeping up with her..." Goku said with frustration.
"So just leave and do something else, I'm sure she'll understand." replied Vegeta
"I can't do that, she's been too nice to us, by the way she said that you could stay here." Goku said turning around and looking at the small bed that could barely fit a person.
"I'll just...take the floor." Vegeta said, "You know there's other ponies around here besides Twilight. Just go and meet some of them."
"hmm, I guess I could." Goku replied thinking who else he could meet.
"Well I'm glad I solved your problem, now lets go get something to eat." Vegeta said starting for the door.
"Hold on, I have to ask...what got you in such a good mood today?" Goku asked
When he heard him ask this Vegeta realized he really wasn't acting like himself, "I uh, well I'm not sure." he said looking back at Goku with an uneasy feeling.
"OH NO! DON'T TELL ME!" Goku yelled as a not so great thought rushed through his mind. "YOU'RE NOT HITTING ON THAT BLUE PONY ARE YOU?!
The instant thought of this made Vegeta cringe up and caught him completely off guard. "WHAT?! ARE YOU CARZY!...KAKAROT HOW COULD YOU THINK OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!" he yelled, loud enough to shake the windows. "We do not do that, got it!" Vegeta continued now starting to calm down and letting the room fall to silence.
"Do you really want to know how I feel about her, Kakarot..." Vegeta almost mumbled while Goku watched him waiting for an answer.
Vegeta turned towards the door, "I feel very close to her, like a father to a daughter...I can't explain it, and I hardly understand it."
"Wow Vegeta, and here I thought you were going to stay a stone cold person for the rest of your life." Goku said relieved that his previous thoughts were wrong.
Vegeta continued to stare at the door.
"We don't have to talk anymore if you don't want to." Goku said
"Good. But thanks for listening...It meant a lot." Vegeta said opening the door to find Twilight, Dash, and Spike staring at him. "Our conversation is over, now what's for dinner?" Vegeta asked still questioning his day in the back of his mind.
"Well uh, I haven't started it yet." Spike said walking into the kitchen.
Vegeta walked over to the closest book shelf and began to look at the selection, he quickly realized that ponies must use the English Language different from how he was a custom. Some books made sense but others were gibberish.
Rainbow Dash rushed over to him quickly bringing a book with her, "Here try this." she said giving him the book, "It's called Daring Doo, It's really good."
"Thanks." he said taking the book and flipping through the pages. It seemed okay, no random words from what he could tell.
Spike finished dinner and set a table almost as good as Goku's wife could. He served a variety of dishes that neither Goku or Vegeta could figure out what they were, but they quickly figured out why Twilight let Spike fix dinner. It was Fantastic! And if Goku could have, he would of said so. But he almost swallowed the plates and bowls as he ate.
After a great dinner they all sat around in the library while Goku told stories that people on Earth liked to tell like his success at fishing, which seemed weird to the ponies. He also talked about Frieza and how he was able to defeat him and how the planet blew up right as he escaped it.
These stories took them well into the night and at what seemed to be midnight Goku decided to turn in.
"Well, I'm gonna go get some sleep." Goku said yawning out loud.
"huh." Vegeta was trying not to nod off. "Yea I think I'll turn in to." Vegeta said getting up and heading towards the room.
Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash who had fallen asleep on the couch and thought it best for her to stay anyways.
Everyone was in bed at this point and Vegeta was, well, on the floor but he didn't mind.
"Kakarot?" Vegeta whispered in the darkness.
"huh, what?" Goku asked almost asleep.
"This place...does it seem almost too good to be true." Vegeta said
"What do you mean?" Goku asked
"These ponies...they're like people, but so much more understanding and war is practically unknown to them.
Goku laid in silence for a moment thinking about this to himself. "Yea, I see what you mean, But what are you saying?"
"Well...if Earth is destroyed before we can get back, why don't we just...stay here." Vegeta said unsure of his choice of words.
Goku sat up, "But-"
"I'm not cowering from a fight, if that's what your about to say." Vegeta said more sternly. "I'm just saying that we shouldn't let this place fall as well."
These words were a cold realization to Goku. He couldn't even respond to Vegeta.
"good night." Vegeta said turning on his side, leaving Goku in deep thought about the situation on Earth.
Meanwhile back on Earth, Cell was causing massive amounts of destruction and devastation.
"I love to torment the weak and helpless." he said watching a city burn and doing a laugh in the back of his throat. Then after some time he let out a long sigh.
"The human race has really diminished around here." Cell said proudly. "So let's see then." He held his hands up to himself as if to weigh a decision. "Should I blow up the planet?" looking at one hand. "Or kill the rest of the people?" looking at the other.
For sometime Cell had a feeling he couldn't shake and just kept it in the back of his mind, but now more than before he felt as if he didn't really destroy Goku and Vegeta.
"I know that they still must be alive...they have to be, I can still feel their energy at times. Faintly but. it. is. there. Cell continued to think while floating over the burning city and at this point he had put his hands down.
"Err, WHERE ARE YOU TWO!!!" Cell yelled as loud as he could breaking down any building left standing. "I will find you BOTH if it's the last thing I do."
