The Redemption of the Human Race

Alex and Julie were horrified. Although grateful that they would be the ones to try to revive the human race after this nuclear strike by that awful terrorist group, there were three problems:

1) They would be the only humans left, and their cyro tube could only be opened from the outside, 2) They would somehow have to make their way out of the lab, and 3)... They hated each others guts, and had since first grade. Let me explain:

Alex was tall handsome, with brown hair and hazel eyes, strong, and captian of the soccer team at school, but due to his smart-ass, sarcastic personality and lack of the will to compromise, Julie, and every other girl he ever tried to talk to, seemed to almost instantly hate him, and he repays them in kind.

Julie was a bit of a nerd, short for her age, and obsessed with video games... But was often sought after by boys due to her... ahem... more prominent features. She had pale skin, red hair, and electric lime green eyes. She was always in the top ten at her school, and was mostly agreeable. Unless... you were the kind of person that had a snappy comeback for everything she said, like Alex.

All in all, they were not to hay when they found out they were chosen by the government to carry on the human race.
