After the events of Dark Moon, Dream team, and Luigi U, Luigi decides to go on a vacation with some of his friends. But something goes wrong, and they end up in a whole new place. Unfortunately, it doesn't get better. Luigi will have to find all 30 pieces of the Alter-Portal if he wishes to get home. Even worse, his worst foes have been revived and are spreading chaos. But eventually, things do look better. Luigi ventures throughout this new world, meeting old and new people along the way. And maybe he might even find a true friend.
