Luigi's Mansion: Nightmare In Equestria
Part 1: Vacation Gone Wrong
After many adventures, Luigi had decided to take a vacation with his friends. He was getting packed when he stopped all of a sudden.
" That's not how this story began," he said. Oh, Mr. fancy-pants. Care to show us where it began? I mean, it isn't like you need a narrator. He shook his head. " No, I meant you should start before the vacation," he answered. Oh... Oh! Right! Sorry about that. Shall we start from the beginning?
Everyone knows him. The man in green. Luigi. The Year of Luigi had surprised many. Nobody had expected Iwata to announce that 2013 would become The Year of Luigi. Many reactions happened. Those from the real world were either shocked, happy, or enraged. Meanwhile, Luigi had been completely shocked. A year made just for him? And boy would that year be big! Soon, he was called upon to rescue Evershade valley from King Boo's revenge with the trusty Poltergust 500. He explored through many haunted buildings, shivering in terror as he went. Later on, Antasma had reawakened and teamed up with Bowser. Luigi and his brother explored Pi'illo Island and the Dream World by going through Luigi's dreams. Then, after Mario had gone to help out Brouque Monsier with cleaning up the Island, Bowser returned and kidnapped Peach again. Luigi set off to save her along with the toad twins and a new sidekick of his own, Nabbit. Luigi triumphed over evil, soon realizing that he had never felt more wanted. More of a hero than he actually was. But Luigi was about to find out that he would become a greater hero soon, bigger than anyone or himself would think.
And thus that brings us back to Luigi packing for his vacation. He had wanted to take a break from all the work he had been doing recently. So he invited a couple of his friends. Dreambert was going, as the two were known to be good friends. Starlow also decided to go. Nabbit who also wanted to explore, had been allowed to go with Luigi. As Luigi packed, he turned to notice that the sun was starting to go down. He realized he had to hurry. Pulling out his phone, he called the others as they began to go on their vacation.
"So where exactly are we headed?" asked Starlow. She seemed peppy as ever, smiling. Luigi simply shrugged.
" To explore and find something new. Who needs a map?" While he checked his inventory, Starlow became more angry.
"What do you mean?! Are you trying to get us lost?!?!" She yelled. Dreambert raised his hands.
"Let's not all get riled up," he spoke calmly. " Perhaps Luigi might have a point. We might be able to find a new area nobody else has found yet." Starlow rolled her eyes.
"Didn't that Link dude make a whole map of the world? There's nothing else to see!" she exclaimed. The four were treading through Green Greens, an area nearby Kirby's home. The grass swayed softly. The wind whistled. It was pretty quiet. Dreambert and Starlow continued to argue. Nabbit spoke up.
" Ya think we might find some loot? Perhaps some treasure?" he spoke enthusiastically. Luigi sighed. That Nabbit only thinks about treasure now these days, he thought. Nabbit was nearly as bad as those explorers that hunted treasure with those Pikmin creatures. Unfortunately, it was at this time that Luigi should have been looking in front of him. It was because an odd cluster of mass and space had formed a portal-like doorway. And Luigi happened to stumble into it. They all did before realizing it was too late. They screamed as the ground disappeared beneath their feet. They plunged downward as the gateway closed behind them. Luigi, panicking, tried to find ground. But they were soon all swallowed up by darkness. All was quiet. and dark.
Luigi awoke, his head feeling light. He looked around. They seemed to be in an unknown area. He remembered the portal. Where am I?, he thought. Luigi trekked onward, an open plain large as a lake. Soon, he spotted a small town. Luigi gasped. He might be able to find the others there! He began to run there, shouting out as he went. "Yoohoo! Starlow! Dreambert! Nabbit? Where are you guys?" He had no response until he heard shouting. Multiple shouts of fear. Luigi rushed towards the noise. He heard a scream. Starlow! He dashed while hearing shouts that sounded something like: "Giant Timberwolve! It's as big as the buildings!" More screaming. Luigi hurried before he found the source and ran into a blur of white and rainbow.
