The Straight Truth

Previous Chapter

The  truth. Sometimes it can hurt, or help. It depends on the situation. But sometimes, you have to tell the truth. No matter who it hurts.

As Spike walked down the path kicking a pebble he heard the clop-clop of hooves behind him. Soon he was on the ground facing Rarity who had a enormous smile on her face. She told him in full detail what was going on between her and Glistening Gem. She squealed at the end when she told him about the kiss. He was heart-broken hearing her feelings. He knew this wouldn't be easy for her. Then she dropped the bomb.

"...and he wants me to move to Las Pegasus with him." She sail with delight.

"NO!"  he screamed at the top of his lungs. "You can't do that because... because..." "Because he doesn't really love you."

He then told her everything. From hearing him talk to the other pony with a plan to run her out of town, to getting kidnapped and being forced to see them kiss. She was stunned and by the end, she could no longer hold in her tears. She began to bawl because the one pony she loved didn't love her back.

"Listen," spike said softly "maybe you don't have a special somepony. Maybe you have a special someDragon. I have loved you from the day we meet until now. I love you Rarity." he said as he softly kissed. Suddenly something was clear, Rarity was kissing him back.

"I love you too, Spike." They spent the rest of the night deeply in love wrapped in each others arms. The night was cold but their warm from each others love was enough. They spent all night together waking only to watch the sunrise together. Little did they now, a small young she-dragon was, at that moment, entering ponyville looking for some love.
