Chapter Three:
Sacrifice
(Pinkimena)
It's been three days since Vicious was with Pinkimena. She was thankful that she had left her alone, she really needed this time to think.
She was now behind because of her. She hadn't sold her cupcakes in days, she had no money, and she still hadn't completed her personal project.
Vicious is annoying at most times. Hell, at all times. She likes to flurt with me and all, but seriously. She really needs to get some help. Poor girl doesn't even know where she's from. I still believe she's an Angel of Darkness, I swear she is, and the part that I suspect of her the most is that the reason she's here, is for me.
I personally think she was sent by Celestia- though I don't even think she knows who Celestia is- to spy on me for my "criminal actions."
But if so, there's really nothing I can do. The idea of killing her is pointless. Now she knows that she can't die.
Sometimes I envy her for being immortal. If I was, I wouldn't have to spend all that time tieing ponies up, or anything like that.
Not only that, but she is so pretty, but in a coltish sort of way. I guess it charms me at times- but the way she agrivates me isn't even funny.( Well, to me anyways. She finds it completely hilarious.)
She just... I don't even think I have a word to describe her. She's so cocky, but in a gruesome way. She's got humor, but then again she's dark.
Truely, an Angel of Darkness.
Pinkimena's thoughts was interrupted by a knock at the door. She got up from the stool in the kitchen, and she walked to the door. She was highly expecting Vicious in some kind of transformation. But when she went to open the door, it was just Vicious. Speak of the Angel, but no transformation was going to fool Pinkimena anymore.
Vicious sat on the doorstep to the bakery, a thing of flowers in her hooves.
Oh no. Pinkimena had an idea where this was going.
"Vicious?"
"Yeah, hey Pinkimena. Do you mind if I come in?"
Pinkimena really didn't want to let her in, but there was nothing to hide from her. She was pretty aware of what she was doing. And her very thoughts wern't even private, due to the fact that she could read my mind. The only thing that was the thing that was pulling her back was the fact of how much she annoyed her. And how she embarrased her privately.
"Why not, come in."
Vicious put the flowers in her mouth, the solid red roses matched her eyes so well, that she couldn't understand the fact that she was going to give them to me.
"Here, I got these for you." She said, handing them to Pinkimena as she shut the door behind the mare. She took them, setting them on the counter.
"Is there something I can do for you, Vicious?"
"Oh! Yeah...uh, I wanted to know if you were avalible."
"...What do you mean?"
Vicious looked away embarrased for a bref second, and then she took a breath in and out. It's like she was getting ready to propose to me. But if she's gonna ask me something, I want her to ask me all the way. She thinks she can put me behind schedule, and get away with it? I don't think so.
"Are you..d-do you have any plans right now?"
Pinkimena looked in the kitchen, the only thing she was doing was making some of her famous cupcakes. And that was all the excuse she needed.
"I have some baking to do. I don't think I'll be able to do anything right now."
Her excited, and yet embarrased, expression did not change as she gave her the answer. I swear, everytime she does something like this, it's like there's something I'm missing.
"Why? Did you have something in mind?"
"Yeah, Your busy now. But baking doesn't take that long."
W-wait, what?"It does if your baking a lot."
Vicious moved closer to the pink mare, her face a breath away from her own. I hope she doesn't kiss me, please don't kiss me.
She just stood there and looked into her eyes. It was scaring Pinkimena a little until she came to realization to what she was doing. But it was too late, Vicious had just looked at her as if she had everything figured out.
"Your behind... on a project? Is that the thingy you- wait, it all clicks! You just don't want me here."
Celestia dammit!!
"...Yes..."
Vicious looked at her, a blank expression on her face. And then Pinkimena jumped back in shock as Vicious quickly- and loudly- replied.
"Okay! Well, I'll be on my way then."
Really? She's gonna leave now? Well, why didn't she read my mind earlier? "Where are you gonna go?"
"Oh you know, where ever the wind takes me."
Pinkimena watched as she opened the door, and stepping outside, her head sticking out of the door. "By the way, I'd take a second look at the roses if I were you." She said, smileing as she shut the door.
Pinkimena turned around, looking at the flowers, wrapped in plastic and neatly tied with a purple ribbon. She picked them up, looking at them closely. Then, she reached her hoof out to touch one of the peddals. In surprize, the red color was on her hoof, staining the pink mare's hoof.
It looked an awful lot like blood, but Pinkimena wasn't for sure. So the one thing she knew what to do was take it for a taste test.
She swipped her tonge over the red liquid, dabbing it a couple of times on the roof of her mouth to make the taste more official.
Almost immediately, she recognized that it wasn't blood.
It was sleeping medicine.
By the time she was making her way to the sink to wrinse out the mince metal taste in her mouth, the world started closing in, and she silently cursed Vicious as she hit the floor, out cold.
(Vicious)
Vicious flapped her ear as she heard the clunk on the floor to Pinkimena's bakery. She may have been outside, but the giant *thud* that was in the house, she could hear it a mile away.
She then looked around to see if anypony was here to witness when she went into her house/bakery. When she looked around and saw not a pony for a while away, she opened the door to go inside, putting her plan into action.
Vicious knew that Pinkimena wouldn't go out with her willingly. So, this was a rather different way to get her to go out for the evening. First, she needs a knife. As soon as she wakes up, one of two things will happen.
One, she's gonna be scared and think I fillynaped her, and that I'm gonna kill her. But most likely, number two is she's gonna be mad that I drugged her, and want to stab me repeatdly.
Which is why she's getting the knife.
But will she be mad for me taking her knife too?... Probably.
She shut the door quietly behind her, looking at the kitchen floor to see Pinkimena, on the ground asleep. She might be mad when she wakes up, but it will be worth it!
She trotted to where the pink mare was, and picked her up. She walked over to the recliner, setting her down on the sofa.
I could so kiss her right now, and she wouldn't be able to do a thing about it...
But I better not. She might be so mad, she'll find a way to kill me.
She sat down next to the beautiful mare. She had left her alone for three days, but she had managed to get a quick job at Sweet Apple Acres, how else was she going to pay for the date tonight?
She had earned seventy bits to go to that fancy place in Ponyville, she knew that it was expensive, but with that money, she could get Pinkimena whatever she wanted.
She also had rented a tuxedo for the occasion, and that wasn't so cheap either. Pinkimena wasn't going to get into a dress asleep, either, so now she has to go find one for her to wear.
Vicious looked into the hallway, seeing the stairs that lead her to the second floor, where hopefully the bedrooms might be.
She walked up the stairs, seeing three doors down the hall, and started from the first one. She opened it, seeing a blank room, with two dressers on each side of a queen sized bed, and a wedding picture of a mare with a blue coat, and a pink swirly mane next to a tall stallion, he had a carrot colored mane. they looked so happy.
It made Vicious sick inside. She doesn't know where she is from, and if she has ever been loved. But these two looked so happy. Wish I had a love like that...
She turned around and shut the door behind her, no trace left behind to have anything proving that Vicious was ever there.
She then moved on to the next door, openeing it to see baby blue walls, a crib, and some other filly toys. These ponies had kids? Okay! Moving on...
She finally reached a door- the final door- and started to turn the knob, praying that this was Pinkimena's room. She opened it to see a bed, a couple of knives hanged from the walls, along with a sword, and luckly, a closet over by the only window in the room.
Vicious made her way over there, twisting the knob to the closet door, opening it to see a blue, sparkly dress, with a proper, fluffy skirt and a belt that made it even better.
She sat there and imagined Pinkimena in the gown, and she thoght that she might of had a nose bleed for a second.
She took the dress off the hook, and rushed down stairs to try to put Pinkimena in it, risking the chance to keep her asleep.
":::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::"
Vicious stood back at her results. Getting the dress on was not easy, but she succeded to keep her asleep. The sun was starting to set outside, and it was getting late. That's when she sat up, and opened the front door, returning to put Pinkimena on her back. It made her backbone a little uncomfortible, but she made it out the door, flying away with her on her back.
(Pinkimena)
Pinkimena's eyes started to open as she woke up all the way. She looked ahead, seeing a gray blur come past her face.
Is this dreamland? It sure looks like it...
And sound like it...
And smells like dream clouds... Or normal clouds...
Clouds...
Clouds.
Wait a minute. Dreamland has happy white clouds, not gray misty night clouds.
Pinkumena opened her eyes all the way, seeing clouds go by. I am really confused...
Pinkimena then heard a voice, so familiar the name was on the tip of her tonge.
"Hey, are you awake?"
Okay, that's deffinately familiar. So recognizable...
"Hello! Earth to Pinkimena!"
"..Vicious?"
"Yeah it's me. By the way, don't look down."
Pinkimena leaned her head up, seeing that she was resting on Vicious' back, the wind blowing in her face. "Vicious, where are we?! What are you doing!?"
"Chill. We're just... taking a flight for a little bit. That's all."
The pink mare started to freak out. She was flying in the sky... H-have I ever mentioned how afraid of hights I am? Oh god...
"Vicious, put me down- now!"
"Hold on we're almost there."
"Almost there?! Where are we going?!"
"You'll see."
Pinkimena was starting to become more afraid and angry. That's when she noticed something funny rubbing against her coat, and quickly noticed that it was some sort of clothing... a dress. How did she get a dress on while she was-
...Vicious.
"Vicious, why am I in a dress?"
"Listen, I know your qurious and all of that, but wait until we're not in the air. As soon as we land, I promise I can explain everything."
"You're scaring me! I am afraid of hights you know."
"If you were that scared of hights, you wouldn't be speaking right now."
Pinkimena thought for a second. Sure there were other ponies in the wide land of Equestria who are completely afraid of hight lands and spaces, but could make it clear with there voice that they could be some what qurious to what, where, and why they were there. But that's just some critical thinking.
A little while later, Pinkimena made it (safely) to the ground. She was sitting across from Vicious, who was stairing at the sky. Pinkimena sat in silence before it was broken by none the other than herself with the demanding question.
"Vicious, now that we've made it to the ground, mind telling me why we're here!?"
Vicious' body didn't so much as sway as Pinkimena exclaimed her fury. She looked at the sky with those scarlet red eyes, blank with expression. She seemed different today, she's been talking less, her mood seemed to have changed, and she's acting as if she's so humble. As if..
"Well?! Why did you bring me here?"
Vicious exhaled calmly as she softly spoke- her voice seemed to have changed too. Was she turning into somepony new? Does she have some kind of moodswings?
"Look, I know your mad. I get that. But all I want you to do is have a good time. Look, I even got a job and worked at Applejack's farm-I think that's her name- and got some money for us. I was thinking we could just look at the skies for a little bit, and maybe go grab a bite or two."
"I'm not going anywhere with you. First, you drug me, then you fillynapped me, and then you made me fight my fear of hights, just to go stargazing and go out to eat!? I bet you we're going to take me somewhere fancy, judging by the dress you picked out of my room. And the fact that you're wearing a tux!? What is this- some sort of date?!"
*silence*
"Yeah... I guess you could say that. I knew you'd never let me take you out upon your own will, but I just want you and me to have some normal fun- not in your tourture basement. And I thought that if we got out in the public- we'd seem like normal ponies."
"Normal ponies!? You just showed up three days ago, and if I'm wrong- you had no idea where you were. If you were a normal pony, I could have killed you on the spot, and nopony would have ever found you. Hell, I don't even think that you knew anypony here. Sorry darling- but you have a case of amnesia when it came to you being normal. And not to mention- I don't like you! I dispise you, and wish you'd just go away. It was a mistake to have found you. And I wish I never did."
Pinkimena watched Vicious' expression change from neutral to something a little more intense. She had never spoken to anypony like that before. And judging by the look on Vicious' face now- she hit her. Hard.
Right in the heart.
"...Okay. Now I understand." Vicious said, her expression was still a tad humble, but her voice croaked as it sounded as if she was going to sob. She moved closer to Pinkimena, grabbing her hoof and hold ing it out. Pinkimena was a little confused when she felt something touch her hoof, and was too late to realize that it was a knife.
"Take your anger out on me."
Vicious started it off, she grabbed her hoof and strongly pulled it toward her chest, and groaned loudly as blood started to show on the button-up shirt- that was white- and started to spread. She then looked up at Pinkimena painting slightly. "It hurts, but I know that it will make you feel better. So have at it all you want." She said, leaning against a tree.
"As long as I have you for the night..." She said, hardly whispering.
Pinkimena looked at her with a blank expression, and she was truely shocked. Vicious had some how manage to do all of this... For me.
All she really wanted was to go out tonight- and even though she knew that I wouldn't agree, she had did it anyways...
Pinkimena looked at the knife in her hand, and then looked at the brown mare against the tree. She sat there as the warm sticky blood trickle down her arm, and then shut her eyes tightly.
She threw the knife on the ground, with the handle sticking out of the grass. Her expert skill in throwing knives for years and years, she could do almost anything with a knife.
She couldn't stab Vicious. Tecnically, she just did, but her mind is now at peace, and she just decided to blame it on her for stabbing herself. She exhaled and looked at Vicious. Her face had slightly lightened up in curiousity as she watched Pinkimena move closer to her.
Pinkimena held a hoof out to help her up, Vicious silently got up, and looked at her curiously.
"B-but why-"
Pinkimena rose a hoof to her lips, cutting off the sounds that she made. She looked at her with a stern look. She tried to be serious, it was so hard not to melt into a puddle with those blood red eyes. Celestia damn was this pony getting to her!
"Just shut up and come on. Before I change my mind."
With that said, Vicious and Pinkimena walked into town quietly, and Pinkimena gave a silent prayer into the cool wind of the night.
