My Little Pony Family Is Love

“P-please…..help….me….” the bloody, oily, muddy deep cherry red pegasi colt begged. His dark pink hair was stuck to his face, as his purple eyes buried holes into Star. “P-please… I-I`m scared….” Suddenly, his eyes darkened and he stopped and lay on the ground, face in a glob of oil. By the time the colt had hit the floor Star was already in full panic mode.

“Oh no, oh no! A-are you ok?! Im sorry I didn’t get here soon enough! U-uh! Please stay alive!” the unicorn begged, getting the colt onto her back. “U-uh, dont worry! I`ll get you fixed up!” she stuttered, shivering as blood and oil ran down her back. Not wishing to waste another second, Star started to run off, using a little bit of her weak magic to make the colt less heavy. Still, the pegasi felt like he weighted as much as a full grown pony.

“Why would you ever bring a street rat into this house! Star Shower I thought I raised you better than this!” Meteor Shower screamed. Her pink coat matched her daughters but her hair was spiky and light green, save for a similar strip of golden hair. Star cowered under her mother’s harsh voice.  The colt lay still behind her.

“M-mother, PLEASE! Hes so hurt! P-Please dont do this!” Star begged, tearing up.

“Are you crying?! For goodness sakes you brat! Go take that rat out to the streets! We don`t need a moronic pegasi in this house!” her mother growled in a shrill and harsh tone.

“I-Im sorry! I just… I cant just-” Stars chocking sobs where cut off by the doorbell.

“Ugh, Stop your whining and wait here!” Meteor hissed vilely as she walked towards the door.  When she opened the door, a salespony smiled at her.

“Oh hello Miss Shower! May- OH! Im sorry to bother you, it seems youve taken the kindness to help at poor street rat! How kind you are Miss Shower! Do you want me to come back later, you seem busy.”  He said, looking at the colt.

“Hmm? O-oh yes of course! You know me! Help, help, help!” Meteor cooed, trying to cash in on some selfish prise.  “Star darling, please go take our guest upstairs to your room, hmm?” she asked, turning to Star and giving her a look that said ‘Just this once, don’t mess up.’ Star nodded quickly and dragged the colt upstairs.

Carefully Star slid the still unconscious colt into her bed, she had done her best to clean him and her up, but not that good of a job, as the poor girl was tired out of her mind. While pushing the colt in bed she noticed something yellow on his flank. A yellow lightning bolt, a cutie mark! Star suddenly felt very, very jealous, but seeing as the poor kid was knocked out in an alley, she quickly got over it as she climbed into bed.

“Night...” She whispered as she drifted off.

Scarlet felt…soft and… clean? This was odd, really odd, alarming odd! With a snort Scarlet quickly got up and saw, a girl. Oh… its just A GIRL?! HOLY COW HOLD UP SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TRICKERY! Scarlet felt himself starting to hyperventilate as he also realized he was in a bed, in a place he didn’t know and everything was dark. Well, save for the bright glow of his dark purple eyes, BUT THAT DIDNT REALLY MATTER WHAT WAS HAPPENING! The filly in his bed twitched and Scarlet become fearfully aware of something. Despite the fact she looked kind of dirty and her hair was a mess, she was very, very pretty. The pegasi colt felt a very strong urge to brush a hood through her pastel blue mane with the light yellow stripe, but held it back as he knew that would be really creepy, he was a smart boy… right? Yes, yes he was, so he just looked at her. He wasn’t staring, just looking at her. Until she woke up. He could look at a pretty girl… right? Not creepy…. right, RIGHT?! Right, right he was right. He was always right when it came to this sort of thing, he was polite… wait should a polite pony be wondering where he came from…? No, he had a feeling he didn’t want to go back, he had a good reason. It didn’t matter.  Anyways, it wouldn’t be creepy to describe her in his head, right yeah sure, cool.

“Nughh….” The filly groaned and Scarlet jumped.

Star was suddenly under the impression she was being watched. As she slowly opened her eyes, she realized that the colt had woken up!

“O-oh! Youre awake! I-I mean hi! Im Star Shower… I-I found you knocked out in an alley way and b-b-brought you to my house…. U-uh we are in my room i-if you a-a-re wondering….” She mumbled shyly.

“O-oh… Uh… I`m Scarlet! Thanks for helping me… Star.” The pegasi colt said. The fact that the colt was alright and not freaking out made Star smile a very big, yet rare smile.

“I-it`s nothing really!” Star said humbly, “A-anyone could have helped…”

“But you were the one who did it! Youre the one who cleaned me up, judging the state of my fur. Youre the one to let me sleep in your bed, considering I`m in it.” Scarlet said gratefully.

“A-ah, youre too kind… Thanks….” Star mumbled, blushing lightly. “O-oh!” He eyes lit up, as if she had just remembered something.  “If you dont mind…. W-what does your cutie mark represent?” she asked, adverting her eyes.

“Oh…” the pegasi looked at the yellow mark on his flank. “Its means Im faster than lightning!” he said boldly, “I could out fly the fastest pegasi alive!” he puffed out his chest, looking very proud and cocky. “What does your cutie mark mean?” he asked.

“U-uh…” Star started to look at her bed sheets, shuffling her hooves. “I don’t have a cutie mark…” she muttered.

“Oh… well that just means you have more options! Oh, can I tell you about the time I saw a giant dragon zoom through the sky while I was flying?” Scarlet asked, hoping to change the subject. Star nodded. For the rest of the night, the two swapped stories, happily laughing quietly.
