Work like a clock.

The sound of an alarm clock woke up a sleeping Time Turner, who struggled to open his eyes. "Ah, dreams are pleasant! I'm glad I dreamed about the past last night. Heck,  I guess even a Timelord's dreams need some time skips from here to there." He thought, as he looked at his six-month pregnant wife. Oh yeah, that's right, I left out that detail. Well long story short, Time Turner and Derpy moved into Turner's clock shop, stayed as just the two of them for a year, then decided to have a foal. As Time Turner looked at his sleeping wife, he remembered the day they went to tell Derpy's parents that she was pregnant.

Derpy and Time Turner stood at the door step to Derpy's parent's place. Derpy, being two months pregnant at this point, was worried what her dad would think. "Are you sure about this Turner?" Derpy asked in a worried tone. "Yes, they deserve to know Derpy." Time Turner said, then knocked on the front oak door.

Derpy's mom opened the door, and said "Derpy, Turner! I haven't seen you two since you took that vacation to Baltimare when I was there on my business trip! Come in, please!" As she pulled in the two ponies. Once inside, the two sat down on a couch that was near the one Derpy's mom and dad sat upon. "So, what is this about?" Heavy Weight asked, looking Turner dead in the eye.

"Well Daddy," Derpy began "well...... I'm pregnant Daddy, Mom. Me and Turner are going to have a foal!" Turner decided, trying to be funny, to say "Yep, and we found out when I was drunk off my edge!" And laughed at his joke, not knowing that would stir up Heavy Weight. "You son of a whore, I'LL KILL YOU!" Heavy Weight shouted, as he tackled Turner.

"Daddy! Turner was joking, we planned it!" Derpy said, trying to pull her father off of her husband.

Turner still laughed at his joke, even though it was made four months ago. Seriously, who does that stuff? Crazy ponies, that's who. Anyways..... Turner went to take a shower, being as careful as he could to not wake up his sleeping wife. Once he took his shower, Time Turner went downstairs and opened his clock shop, which he operated and lived in. He went and placed the "OPEN" sign on it's proper side, then looked at the sign outside the shop that said "TIME'S SHOP" which he always liked.

A couple hours went by, and the day's first customer came in and said "Hey Time Turner, how are you and Derpy?" Vinyl Scratch asked "Also, can you fix my broken clock, my music made it shake and fall on the ground again." Hearing this, Time Turner chuckled and said "We're doing good. Also, you need to stop playing your dub-step so loudly if you want a working clock. So, did you hear the news?"

Vinyl looked at Time Turner confused, then realized what he meant. "Oh yeah! You and Derpy are expecting a foal right?" She asked Turner gave a smug looking grin, and said "Yep, we've only got to wait three more months till our little colt or filly is running around here." Then went to look at the broken clock, then sighed heavily and said "You know it'll take me about 6 weeks to fix this?"

3 months later....

It was 2 am in Ponyville, and Time Turner rushed into the hospital with his wife, and was running by her side while she was rushed on a gurney. "Come on honey, breath in and out!" Turner said, as his wife was breathing heavily. "Turner, I'm about to give birth, what do you think I'm trying to do!" Derpy shouted, as she felt some more pain in her stomach "Turner," Derpy began as they closed near the delivery room "I want you to wait outside the delivery room for me!" This made Time Turner raise an eyebrow, but he knew he couldn't, nor wouldn't, defy his wife's wishes, especially now.

As they got closer to the door, Time went to sit down at the chair nearest to the door into the room where Derpy would be giving birth to their foal. As he sat down, the doctor and nurses rushed inside, and closed the doors. As he sat and waited, he couldn't bear to listen to his wife's screams of pain and he couldn't ignore them either. The more he waited, the more it seemed like he was falling asleep. No matter how hard he tried to force himself to stay awake, the Sand Stallion decided Time needed some rest this morning.

Turner was waken up by a nudge from Nurse Redheart, who said to the waking stallion "Mr. Turner, you can see your wife now!" Tim Turner was shocked to hear this(for some odd reason) and was shocked to find out he slept for.... Wait, how long did he sleep? Turner looked around for a wall clock, or something to tell time, and finally saw a clock that said "8:50 AM" on it. "Wow.... I slept for 6 hours and 50 minutes?" He asked himself, as he went inside the delivery room Derpy was still in.

When he entered, he saw Derpy holding their foal in her hooves, saying to the blanket wrapped foal, who was whimpering in their mother's hooves from the earlier events "It's OK, I've got you little angel. Mommy's here, don't worry." as she stroked the foal's light blonde mane. Time Turner walked closer to his wife, and said "Wow, they have your mane and tail." as he said this, the foal opened their eyes, revealing a golden yellow "AND your eyes, and they have my coat color. So, is it a filly or colt?" Turner asked his wife. "We've got a beautiful Pegasus colt Turner, we did it!" Derpy said, as Turner wrapped a leg around his wife's shoulders.

"So, did you ever come up with a name for our colt?" Derpy asked "It was decided by us that if our foal was a filly, I'd be the one to name her, and if they were a colt you'd name them."

Time Turner picked up his son, who in return stretched his wings out a bit, and then said to his wife while looking at his son "I've decided on the name... Clockwork!" Time Turner said, then began to talk to his son "Hey there Clockwork, I'm your daddy!" Derpy giggled a bit, then took their foal and said "Turner, you know you're going to have to retire, right?"

Turner looked confused, then asked "Why would I have to retire from the clock shop?" But realized what Derpy actually meant. "Oh, you mean my retirement of my Timelord-ship? OK, I'll retire from it to raise our son." Time Turner said, looking at his wife, and then turned to their now sleeping son, and smiled at the miracle that he and his love brought into this world.
