A certain 17 year old Pegasus mare lives in Cloudsdale. She thinks her life wouldn't change for a long time, but on her 18th birthday a letter is presented - just for her. She finds out the invitation is a new school opportunity, and at her choice she decides to go there. What the school teaches is unknown, but when she enters it isn't what she expected.
