Chapters The Draconaques of the Crystal Empire
Pinkie trotted over to her little, brightly lit stand of fabric people- waiting to have Pinkies hoof in their bodies. But, puppets could not move. They were not real of corse. January 6th. The forth, since the biggest Festival of Fools. For festivals ago, it was sad, tragic, and happy. A little fun to.
Pinkie went behind the stand waiting for fillies to crowd it. Today was good for, bits of corse. Today would be a big pay day for Pinkie for every one would be roaming, rummaging the streets for something out of the ordinary to do. Pinkie was open to anything out of the ordinary.
Suddenly, a group of fillies waddled over and sat in front of Pinkie puppet stand. They looked up in awe and amazement.
"Would you fillies like to here a story" asked Pinkie.
"Yes" replied the young children. Their little hooves clapped in excitement, ready for a good story.
"Have I got one for you" said Pinkie beaming with laughter.
"It's about the "it" that lived in the Door of your deepest fears"
The fillies eyes lit up with knowledge already. We're they in for a story.
"Alright" said Pinkie picking up the appropriate puppets to tell the tale.
"It is a tale, a tale of a man, and the monster"
And so the story began.
Dark was the night when the tale had begun on the docks near the Crystal Empire. Gypsies on there boat, escaping the forbidding rules made by Judge Sombra. The boat rower stopped.
"Pay me the bits"
He demanded holding out his hoof.He stared at the one gypsie that had the odd looking child. Even though she was a pony, her child was an awkward looking thing. It was part pony, part lion, part dragon, part goat, part snake and many other unusual creatures.
The gypsies were about to pay him, when guards dressed in black approached them rapidly but with caution. They held spears sharp, and with enough effort in one throw could kill. The pony with the odd child's husband looked at the gray wall were movement was amuck. It was a shadow of none other than the evil Sombra himself. He snorted as he appeared in the light eyes glowing red.
"Bring these gypsie vermin to the Palace of Justice" Sombra spoke again.
All ponies were chained, and when the guard got to the mother pony, the only female of the group he saw she had something huddled close to herself.
"What are you hiding" he shouted in her ear. Sombra took note.
"Goods no doubt, take then from her" said Sombra.
The pony ran, she ran as the blizzard the Pegasus had promised to come tonight kicked in. She being a Pegasus though she could fly away. But when she flapped nothing happened. Apparently the blizzard toke affect quick because it froze her wings. She ran not just for her life, but for her child's and The Sanctuary. She could claim safety there. As she ran she saw a short cut leading to The Sanctuary. She jumped the fence in witch Sombra could not. Sometimes not having food was a good thing, unhealthy but good for fitting into tiny areas nonetheless.
She jumped the fence panting, The Sanctuary only ten leaps away. She slammed into The Sanctuary, and when she recovered banged her hoof on the door rapidly.
"Let me in" she cried........ No answer.
She hit it even faster but nothing would open. Suddenly she felt a tug on her shoulder. The figure was strong enough to whip her around. It was Sombra. he grabbed her bundle, but she hung onto her odd child for dear life. They fough for the bundle when Sombre came to a conclusion he was not prepared for. He bucked her abdominal area hard, as the bundle became lose by the females hooves. She fell the ground seconds after, not breathing, not moving. All Sombra could hear was the wind and...... Crying.
He lifted the bundle to see it was a baby. The bundle was a baby. No ordinary one though.
"It's a monster" muttered Sombra. He swiftly looked around for a way to conclude the babies life fast.
He then saw a well, probably cold from the raging blizzard. He trotted over with the bundle carrying the baby in his mouth. He was about to drop it in when he heard a door creak open loudly and a wild whiny of,
"STOP" it was the Holy Pony, the one that honored Celestia to her highest Luna.
"You would kill a woman, drown her child, you can never escape the sins you have done in the eyes of Celestia" he looked up at the statues that told the story of the life of Celestia. All the eyes staring down at him.
"Fine" said Sombra.
"I will raise him, but he will live in your church. In the door of fears"
"Very well" replied Luna.
"Even this foul creature may approve one day to be of use to me"
"And Sombra gave the child a cruel name" concluded Pinkie.
"A name that mean chaos, Discord" then Pinkie broke out into song for her finally as she always did. At this point she had drawn a large crowd.
"Now, here's a riddle to guess if you can from the fears off the crystal empire- who tell the truth- and who tells the lies sing the song, song, song, song, song, song, song, song song of the Crystal Empire"
And she hit that last big long high-powered not and blew the small crowd away with her talent.
"Would you like me to finish the story" the large crowd nodded.
"Then here I go" she giggled and she was ready to begin.

Shining Armor trotted along the streets. It had been a decade since he's been home. He had to leave for war but he was retreated back to the Crystal Empire because the Judge needed him for something. He walked along the streets. The big Empire seemed to touch the foggy clouds from a distance. He walked some more, his hooves a bit sore. So he sat on a rock next to..... A beautiful women dancing playing a tambourine.
He toke out his lunch and decided to stay a while and listen to the women play. There was a bucket in front of her. He put in there a ripe fresh apple and seven bits. He winked at her, she winked back. The pony was in fact and alicorn. She was pinkie and the tips of her wings were purple.
Suddenly, he heard a whistle from above. It was another colorful pony. He gestured for the dancer, the alicorn to come up quick. She picked up the money. She started to run, but it dropped out. She dropped on the floor picking it up quickly. Why was she rushing? All the sudden so guards appeared. That why.
"Huh, we've got another stealing gypsie" said one of the guards.
So that's what she was a gypsie.
"For your information I earned it" replied the gypsie.
"Gypsies don't earn money, they steal it" said the second guard.
Shining Armor had to de something. He had a plan. The gypsie started to run and the guards chased after her. Shining jumped in front of them. They fell to the floor. They started to use tickle magic on Shining, but he combatted being stronger.
"Stop it you mongrel" said the first guard.
Shining levitated his sword.
"You were saying LT." Said Shining
"It's the captain" said the guard.
"Sorry sir" they replied.
"Now can you take me to the Palace of Justice in the Empire I was recruited by the Judge"
"Yes sir" and the guards led him to the Empire.
The Empire was big. Captain Shining Armor walked in. The room he was sent to was dark, and he heard screams of distress coming from the prison chamber. Then he heard Sombra's voice.
"Stop, wait between each whip or else the sting of the first one will not take effect" he was talking to a guard.
'Whipping' though Shining. He walked in.
"Hello" he said. There was an echo.
"Hello Captain" said Sombra.
"Nice to see you" said Shining Armor.
"You know, I'm so glad to see you hear, our last guard was a disappointment" said Sombra, there was another whip followed by a scream.
"I hold you on high regard Captain" said Sombra in a cheery mod.
They walked out on the balcony to see a good view of the town.
"You see Captain, the reason I called you hear is because of them" he pointed to a street dancer..... It was the one from early.
"The gypsies sir" said Shining Armor uncomfortably.
"Yes, you see I keep killing them, yet for all my efforts they thrive. I've called you hear to we can find their safe haven in the walls of this very city. They call it, the Court of Miracles" said Sombra.
"Sir, you've called me back from the war to kill fortune tellers, and hoof readers" said Shining a bit sceptic.
"Yes" replied Sombra.
Suddenly the sound of music and happy screams of delight were below.
"Have you ever been to a peasant celebration" asked Sombra.
"No sir" said Shining Armor.
"Then this will be a good educational experience for you" said Sombra.

The day looked bright with some kind of essence that burned Discords eyes. He snuck out the door of fears and to the highest peek balcony in the building.
The jumped out and landed on a string of blue, purple, and orange flags. He got rope burn and his paw pads on his way down, sliding fast. The cloak behind him flowing. He escaped! He would get one day out, until Sombra to return, then he'd rush home. The town was bustling. The smell of delicious fresh food wafted by Discords desperate nostrils. To bad he had no money.
He walked around when suddenly loud trumpets roared all around like a song in the air. A parade!
"Come one come all"
Screamed a happy pink pony. She laughed with a snort.
"It's the Fest of Foals"
She laughed some more.
"Today we see who has the ugliest face in all the Crystal Empire"
Uh oh. What if they found him. He ran looking for a spot to hide forgetting he wore a cloak of black on his back. The pink pony walked around.
"Pinkie Pies looking" she sang.
Discord backed up scared. He knew he had to get out. Soon. He backed up ready to grab onto something. He backed up right into a tent. He suddenly felt a curtain, tripped and pulled it down. Inside on the other side of the tent was.... A girl. A pink alicorn in a robe.
"Whoa" she said.
"Watch where you walk"
Discord just giggled. She started to lift his cloak by the face. He quickly retorted back and pulled the cloak over his face.
"What's wrong" she said.
"Nothing" said Discord.
"N..n.. Nothing" she approached and lifted the cloak. Discord did not notice. He was busy staring into her glowing eyes. She was beautiful.
"Hey" she said
"Nice mask"
Se though it was a mask.
Discord was saved by the bell. She tough it was a mask. Few.
He walked out the tent looking at more sights. Ponies were gathered on the stage, and here came Sombra. Discord kept his face hidden. He was on a thrown being carried by some guards. He got a special view in the audience.
"Hello my friends" said Pinkie.
"Today, we are here looking for the ugliest face in all the Crystal Empire"
The crowd cheered.
Shining Armor parked himself in a position to protect the Judge.
"I'm excited this will be fun" Said Shining Armor.
Sombra just huffed.
"Time to see....an opening act, a dance" said Pinkie.
The crowd cheered.
"Dancer La' Cadence"
A puff of smoke lit the stage as an alicorn appeared. It was the one from the dressing room.
She danced and leaped upon the stage with grace, every little movement slow and natural. She took a scarf out of thin air.
She leaped over to Sombra and pulled in close, scarf luring Sombra closer. It was wrapped around the neck. They looked as if they would kiss when suddenly, Cadence grabbed the top of his hat and pulled it over his eyes. The audience laughed. Sombra did not look to happy about this little joke.
The Cadence leaped back onstage, and disappeared leaving the same smoke as when. She appeared.
"What a women" said Shining Armor.
The Judge day there groggily obviously bored, on the outside. Then Pinkie made her way back to the center of the stage.
"Now time to chose the ugliest face in The Empire".Cadence walked form the right onto the stage.
"Not her don't worry" said Pinkie jokingly. The crowd laughed.
As ponies gathered the stage, Cadence came over and toke Discords hand.
"Come up" she dragged him.
But with this one drag upon the stage, a chain of bad. Events would occur.

Discord had just finished a fear. He never got intruders. Ever. He trotted inside the door alone, looking above to see the little light from the sky. Him, thousands of feet below. His life was inside a door were he gave fears.
"Out there" muttered Discord sadly.
"I wish I could be out there"
Discord life was okay, but he only had one friend. Sombra. Sombra was good to him and taught him nothing but that the world was cruel, and wicked and they would mock, laugh, and cower at Discords ugly apperences.
Then he had a though.
'What if I snuck out, just for the day. It is the Festival of Foals today'
But his master. Sombra would be furious if I escaped. But it's better to bake forgiveness than ask permission with Sombra. He looked around to see a cloak hooked to the wall.
"I'll go" Discord said. He grabbed his cloak.
"I'll march out that door and........." On his way out Sombra appeared.
"Good morning Discord" Sombra said.
"I brought you breakfast-lunch" Discord new this was his cue. He dropped his cloak and ran to set the table. Discord was not an adult, but a young adult. Twenty years, so he still could not reach certain things. He flittered his wings grabbed to cups and float back down.
"Lets review your ABC's" said Sombra as Discord set the table.
"A" said Sombra
"Abomination" replied Discord.

"Contrition"

"Damned Nations"

"Eternal Damned Nation"
"Good, F"
"Festival" Discord let it slip by accident.
"What" said Sombra.
"I mean Forgivness" replied Discord.
"You were thinking about going to the Festival" said Sombra.
"The world is cruel and wicked its i alone who you can trust in this whole city, I'm your only friends your one deffender. I who keep you, teach you, feed you and take care of you and yet you ask too go to the Festivle" said Sombra in rage.
"I'm sorry master" said Discord.
"I will never ask again....but why do you get to go" Discord finished.
"Because Im a public official I must go, but I don't like any minute of it. All the wrongs of Pony kind come together for a stupid Festivle" said Sombra.
"Oh" said Discord.
"Goodbye Discord, ill see you for dinner" said Sombra.
"Bye" said Discord.
"Safe behind these windows and these walls of stone I watch the ponies below hungry for the freedom that they own, how I wish I could embrace the feelin of freedom out there" said Discord sadly.
"Just one day out there" he sighed.
