Pokemon Trainer In Equestria
12. A Bear-y Interesting Turn of Events
Previous ChapterNext ChapterChapter 12
Warning - This chapter has some slightly dark stuff in it, and I feel like it's prompting me to add a gore tag (teen). If that doesn't bother you, then enjoy!
The ponies seemed pretty unnerved by the way I had said my previous sentence. Perhaps I’d said it a bit darkly, but that’s exactly what I was going for. Looking over all of them individually with disinterest, I never dropped the haunting smirk and glare that adorned my face.
“Y-you sure about that, Jordan? You sure don’t look all that good to me…” Rainbow said, uncertain of me. Her current behavior was amusing to me. Usually, I see her as boastful and seeping with over confidence, but when she looks at me she looks like she’s about to flee from me in fright.
Lessening my grin a bit, I looked down at my colorless, blackening body and clothes. Checking myself out, I ended with the purple gem that had been crammed into the wound that Discord carved into me. Studying it a bit, I saw it was pulling my skin tight to it, closing off any opening to my body. On closer inspection, I also noticed purple veins inside my skin, seemingly coming from the gem. I didn’t care too much about it anymore, as long as it wasn’t causing any blasted pain.
Losing interest in the jewel, I placed my gaze onto the ponies around me once again. “Go fuck yourself Rainbow. I actually like this look now. I think it shows my distaste for everything, especially you.” I said, looking sharply into her eyes.
What I said seemed to unnerve the lot of them even more, even driving them to step back a bit, except for Rainbow, who had lost her nervous look, replacing it with an angry one. Then she decided to fly up to my face.
“Who do you think you are, talking to me like that?! I’ll kick yo-“ She didn’t have a chance to finish her sentence. Getting tired of her bullshit already, I backhanded her in the face, sending her down instantly, sprawled onto the ground. Seeing the idiot in this pitiful state caused me to laugh, while the others gasped in shock.
No one seemed to be moving or doing anything, seemingly too shocked at what I did. Without so much as I shrug, I turned to leave, but stopped as soon as I heard someone shouting at me.
“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!” I heard. Turning around to see who said it, I realized it was Fluttershy, surprisingly enough. “HOW DARE YOU HURT ONE OF MY FRIENDS! YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO DO THAT, YOU BEAST! YOU GO APPOLOGIZE TO HER THIS INSTANT!” She finished, standing right in front of me in no time.
I would’ve probably kicked her head in for talking to me like that, but something made me pause as I looked into the mare’s eyes, who’s were staring directly into mine. I opened my eyes wide, for what I saw in those eyes... Was indescribable. For a moment, all I had wanted to do was curl up into a ball at the bottom of the ocean and just lay there forever.
However, I quickly snapped out of the trance that her stare seemed to put me in, and glared fiercely right back at her in anger. Opening my hand, I quickly bent down and clasped it around the pathetic pony’s neck, and lifted her into the air in order to look her eye to eye. As I did this, she lost her glare and looked at me in shock.
“You… Are going to regret doing that, bitch.” I said, tightening my grip on her throat in order to choke the whore out of breath.
“Put her down right now, Jordan!” Twilight said, using her magic to try and pull Fluttershy out of my grip, to no avail. I smiled maniacally, pulling out a grey Pokéball and tossing it.
Out came Espeon, who’s once pink fur, was now a dark grey. Her calm eyes turned into a laid back glare. “Espeon, use psychic and keep each of them suspended in the air while I kill this one. Keep an extra hard grip on their horns.” I said, seeing Fluttershy’s face puff up and change color.
All of the ponies were about to act. Twilight’s horn was glowing, along with Rarity’s. Rainbow was about to get up and charge me while Applejack was holding a lasso in her mouth. Pinkie was just looking at us with shock and tears in her eyes, not seeming to be able to comprehend the situation. It all stopped however when immediately they were all being levitated in the air in a harsh magical grip.
Seeing this and smirking, I turned my gaze back to Fluttershy, who was beginning to turn purple, and eyes were beginning to look distant, which pleased me. Her struggling was also growing slim as she was losing consciousness.
“Jordan! Something is wrong with you; This isn’t like you! Let go of Fluttershy, please!” Twilight said. I didn’t give a fuck about her concerns, however. I simply ordered Espeon to enforce extra power into keeping their mouths shut, to which she obeyed without a second though like a tool should. I didn’t lose my gaze on my prey through all of this, keeping my twisted gaze on her. Something inside me felt as if it were changing, however, which caused me to loosen my grip on her throat only slightly.
Staring into her dying eyes, I couldn’t help but feel something… Deep down, I felt what I used to know as… Regret, sorrow, woe, and all around hate towards myself. I couldn’t understand what this feeling was coming from. I didn’t give two shits about this disgusting mare in my clutches, but I couldn’t help but start growing a bit of concern from her, and thinking of how wrong all of this was.
My eyes widened as my hand refused to grasp her neck any longer. Dropping her to the ground and into a coughing fit, I noticed all of the ponies looking relieved. I looked down at my feet as Espeon looked up at me questioningly, yet still bored.
‘What is going on? Why couldn’t I fulfill this simple task? She was right there in my hand, and all of these emotions started bursting into me out of nowhere. Fuck, I can still feel them!’ I was thinking as a tear fell from my face, which surprised me greatly, causing me to even flinch in confusion. All of a sudden, my mouth felt as if it were moving on it’s own.
“I-I… I’m…” I choked out a bit, but before I could continue, my stomach growled loudly, causing me to come upon a sudden realization. “I’m fucking starving right now.” I finished, looking up and giving the still airborne group a bored expression.
I took out a second Pokéball and released the new and improved Dragonite, who somehow already knew what I wanted him to do as he bent over on all fours.
“Consider yourselves lucky that your friend isn’t dead. I’m going to find something to eat, so unfortunately I have to let you go.” I said to them, ignoring the annoying gasps for air coming from the shivering mess of a pony at my feet. Jumping onto the now dark dragon’s back, I recalled Espeon and watched in slight amusement as all of the ponies tumbled to the ground.
Before taking off, I heard Twilight yell something about contacting Princess Celestia about this. I also saw Rainbow about to take off again after me, but Applejack grabbed her tail before she could, stopping her. It was a good thing, too, because I would’ve fucked her up pretty badly if she did come over here.
“Let’s fly, Dragonite; we’re leaving.” I said, wrapping an arm around the thing’s neck to stable myself. Instantly, we took to the sky at a high speed. As I looked down at the group of ponies, I couldn’t help but wonder why they didn’t use the elements on me.
*POV CHANGE – THIRD PERSON*
As Jordan flew from the scene, and Twilight ran off to write a letter at the library, which was back to normal, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity went to help out their fallen friend. Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie just sat there, watching the Discorded Jordan fly off. She didn’t rush to help Fluttershy, as she knew she couldn’t do anything for her anyway, and she was just too sad to concentrate on anything else. For some reason, even her hair had deflated.
‘How could he do such a thing?’ Pinkie thought. ‘That was just, s-so mean! I mean, all Fluttershy did was tell him to say sorry! And hitting Rainbow Dash?! Doing this seems so evil… Even if it IS Discord’s magic making him so mean!’ She continued to sit there with tears in her eyes as she watched Jordan disappear.
Meanwhile, as Fluttershy was coming back to full health, Rainbow couldn’t help but start up a conversation.
“Man! Why is Jordan acting like this? He was acting so evil! He’s never acted like that before!” Rainbow said, puzzled as she sat next to Fluttershy and patted her on the back.
“Ah reckon this is Discord’s doing. Ah mean, Jordan is all grey now, just like we were when Discord’s influence was through us, but what ah don’t understand is why he is like this even though everything else is back to normal.” Applejack responded, also patting the mare on the back while Rarity was standing in front of them.
“Did neither of you notice that gem he had stuck in his arm? Clearly it is infused with chaotic magic that is infecting him or something, and it doesn’t require Discord’s presence to be active.” She said in certainty, but was still frightened of the whole situation. All of the others seemed to come to a realization, remembering back to when Discord had Jordan up in the air.
“So we just need to remove that gem, and he’ll be back to normal, right?!” Rainbow asked, to which Rarity nodded to. Just then, they noticed Twilight rushing back to them with Spike in tow, as she had just sent word to Celestia about the current events.
*POV CHANGE – JORDAN*
As we soared through the sky, I noticed my house coming into view. Gaining a look of distaste, I went to give Dragonite a new order. “Dragonite, I’m sick of not eating meat. Head over to the forest near Fluttershy’s house.”
Quickly changing direction and picking up speed, we flew there in about half a minute. Dropping into the dark forest, I returned Dragonite to his ball without a word. Taking out yet another ball, I called out Arcanine, also a shade of dark grey.
“Arcanine, locate the scent of any animal in this forest. We’re going to get some meat to eat. I’m sick of eating fucking fruit and vegetables all the damn time…” I said. Immediately, the dog began sniffing about, and soon enough, he found a scent and took off deeper into the forest, to which I followed with an evil look.
About five minutes later, we came upon a bear, who was sleeping against a tree. Smiling darkly, I whispered to Arcanine. “Rip the thing’s face off. Make it quick, and don’t make too much noise.” I told him.
He immediately pounced upon the snoozing animal and rapped went to work with ease. With the incredible power of the Pokémon, the fully grown bear didn’t stand much of a chance, and was only able to thrash about for a short amount of time.
Once the beautifully gruesome job was done, I recalled Arcanine and once again brought out Dragonite and Espeon. I ordered Espeon to carry the corpse with her telekinesis as we all flew with it on Dragonite’s back. Once we were high up in the sky, I noticed a ruined castle deeper into the forest. Licking my lips, I ordered that we go there in order to cook the grizzly in peace. It wouldn’t be a very conventional meal, but hell, meat is meat, and I’ve been craving any of the stuff ever since I ran out of the stuff in my fridge a couple of days back.
