A New Hero, A New Legend

Human World, Canterlot High, Principal's Office, 9:00 AM

Many students from Canterlot High have been murdered within days. The reason of this is unknown...

"The students has been missing for weeks?" Kaoru asked.

"Yes, until you found their dead bodies hidden inside bushes. I tell you, Detective. This is the first time something horrible like this happend to this school. What if they are all been murdered?" Principal Celestia said.

"It is the first time? What about the previous incident I heard about?" Kaoru asked as he writes down some notes.

"Yes... That one... It was strange, it involves a girl from another world." Principal Celestia walks towards the Fall Formal photograph of the human main six.

"Maybe this case has somekind of connection to that incident somehow.", Kaoru takes a look at the photograph, "Can you explain what happend during that time?"

"Well... Sunset Shimmer won the Fall Formal three times, when she learned that this girl, Twilight, will be competing againts her for the title of Princess of the Fall Formal, Sunset tried humiliating Twilight with help from Snips and Snails, even editing photos of her to make it look like she destroyed the decorations of the Gym." Principal Celestia said.

"Go on..." Kaoru listens to the Principal's story.

"Twilight won and that angered Sunset, she kidnapped Twilight's dog and threatens to destroy that mirror on the front lawn unless Twilight gives the crown." Principal Celestia continued her story.

"Wow, why is the crown such a big deal?" Kaoru asked.

"I mistook it as a prop that is the same I use as an award for the annuals. Fluttershy gave it to me as a lost and found." Principal Celestia answered.

"Okay then... Continue your story." Kaoru said.

"Twilight gave the crown to Sunset. Sunset puts it on which turned her into a monster and brainwashed everyone. Twilight was able to get it back and use it to turn Sunset back to normal."

"...What if this Sunset Shimmer is the one who was responsible for the murders?" Kaoru suspected.

"Sunset Shimmer maybe have destroyed the school's main entrance and brainwash students but I do not think she is capable of doing such a horrible thing anymore! She already begged for forgiveness." Principal Celestia exclaimed.

"Vice Principal Luna, my sister, then made them rebuild the school's destroyed parts as a punishment."

"...or can she?" Kaoru said grimly.

"Nice talking to you, Principal Celestia, it's been a pleasure." Kaoru shaked hands with Principal Celestia.

Canterlot High, Cafeteria, Lunch Break

Kaoru entered the school's Cafeteria to look for Sunset Shimmer.

"Hey, Umm.." Kaoru asked the student who was eating a muffin.

"Hi!" The student said as she quickly looks at Kaoru as crumbles fall from her full mouth.

"...Wh-What's wrong with your eyes?" Kaoru notices the student's weird googly-eyes

"What's wrong with it? Is there a bug in it?" The student doesn't know what Kaoru is talking about.

"Nevermind... Do you know a girl named Sunset Shimmer?" Kaoru asked.

"Sunset Shimmer...? You mean her...?" The student points at Sunset Shimmer who is hanging out with Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash.

"Thank you...Ms..."

"Derpy!" The student yelled.

Kaoru approaches Sunset Shimmer. She seems to be having fun with her former enemies.

"Excuse me, Are you Sunset Shimmer?" Kaoru asked.

"What's it to you?" Sunset said.

"..."  Kaoru glared at her.

"I'm just kidding", Sunset giggled, "Yes I am, Do you need help with something?"

"I am Detective Kaoru Ichijo from the Canterlot Police Department. I would like to interview you regarding the murders." Kaoru said.

"I don't know anything about it, Detective!" Sunset exclaimed.

"A-Are you gonna arrest her?" Fluttershy asked.

"Sunset might have put everyone in trouble a few months ago but I don't think she'll go as far to actually murder someone." Rainbow Dash said.

"I'm not gonna arrest her, I just wanna ask her some questions.", Kaoru pulls out his notepad, "Might as well just interview all of you."

"I'm fine with that!" Applejack said.

"Can I ask a question first? Huh? Huh? Huh?" Pinkie said excitingly.

"Sorry, I'm the Detective so I'm gonna be the only one who is giving the questions."

"Awww..." Pinkie said sadly.

"First... Sunset, regarding that incident a few months ago, who were involved in it?" Kaoru asked.

"Everyone." Sunset answered.

"You said you wanted to rule over this school?" Kaoru writes even more notes onto his notepad.

"That was a month ago! I changed, okay?" Sunset exclaimed.

"All of the murdered people are all high schools students." Kaoru said.

"Uhhh... Rarity didn't come today... I'm starting to get worried." Fluttershy said softly.

"Do you have anykind of needles inside your back that contains poison?" Kaoru looks directly at Sunset.

"I'm starting to think you are just accusing me, Detective." Sunset crossed her arms with an angry look.

"No, Not at all. I---" The bell rings, interrupting Kaoru.

"I'm sorry but you can go ahead and accuse someone else. I'm gonna be late for class..." Sunset stood up and walked away.

"..."

"I-I think she didn't do it..." Fluttershy whispered.

"Sorry about that, Ya can talk to us later after school." Applejack said.

All of the students in the cafeteria leaves.

Kaoru's phone rings...

"Hello?.... Cheerilee's house? I'll be right there." Kaoru then ran towards the exit.

Human World, Cheerilee's house, 2:50 PM

"What happend in here...?" Kaoru looks at the room. Half of the room was destroyed and Cheerilee was missing.

"We don't know. I think what destroyed it is an Unknown Lifeform. Cheerilee couldn't be found anywhere.", The policeman shows something carved onto the wall, "This is carved on the wall."

The huge carving consists of 10 strange symbols, Kaoru couldn't make sense of it.

"These symbols are similar on that paper Cheerilee gave me the other night... I'll bring this to my apartment and translate it." Kaoru said as he takes a picture of the carvings.

Human World, Kaoru Ichijo's apartment, 6:00 PM

Kaoru waited for the symbols to be dechipered by the computer, it took 30 hours until it was finally recognized as "Gurongi Language", the symbols was individually translated into single words instead of a full sentence, it was some sort of prediction:

Equestria. Ruins. Celestia. Death. Elements. Harmony. Killed. Kuuga. Rising. Ultimate.
