A New Hero, A New Legend

Human World, Police Department, Friday 12:00 AM

"This surviving video tape has been found inside one of the excavator's camera." The detective then plays the tape through a projector.

"The tape shows a man identified as Yusuke Godai, tresspassing into the site and went deep into the cave where the sarcophagus is.", The detective fast forwards the tape, "After a few minutes have passed, there was this huge bright light that ultimately killed and destroyed all of the excavators and their equipments."

The video then became complete static and ended.

"Yusuke was inside the cave when that mysterious explosion of light happend. We can confirm that he is deceased." The chief said.

"The mummy, however, remained undamaged and there is no sign of Yusuke's corpse." The detective then replayed the tape and pauses it on a certain part of the video.

"If you look closely here, plenty shadows of mysterious human-like figures flashes for a split-second before disappearing along with the light." The detective said.

"Hmmm... Are they able to find any kind of explanation for it?" The chief asked.

"No. They said that this cannot be explained with science as of now. The mummy had been kept for research and the DNA barely match that of a normal human being. It even shows very weak pulse indicating that it is still alive." The detective replied.

"Very well...", The chief has a disturbed look on his face.

"We will keep this a secret from the public and for now, we will call the unknown humanoids on the video as Unidentified Lifeforms. Thank You, Detective Kaoru Ichijo" The chief saluted Kaoru.

Kaoru Ichijo usually wears brown leather jacket, brown khaki pants, and pale, light grayish amber skin tone.

Human World, Cheerilee's house, Friday 9:00 AM

Kaoru knocks on Cheerilee's door...

The door opens as Cheerilee answers the door.

"Yes? Can I help you?" Cheerilee asked.

"I am Detective Kaoru Ichijo, I work for the Canterlot Police Department. Can I please ask you a few questions regarding a man named Yusuke Godai?" Kaoru pulls out a notepad from the pocket of his brown leather jacket.

"Yu-Yusuke...?", Cheerilee sniffed, "Come in..."

Kaoru went inside Cheerilee's house, Cheerilee closes the door behind them and she sits onto a couch. Kaoru pulls a chair infront of Cheerilee infront of it to interview her.

"Hello, I am Kaoru Ichijo, I am a detective and I am here to ask questions about Yusuke's disappearance and the whereabouts of the artifact." Kaoru greeted.

"I am Cheerilee... I'm a teacher and a librarian on Canterlot High... I didn't attend the class because I'm not feeling well..." Cheerilee said.

Cheerilee has a sad and guilty look on her face as she nods.

"Is something wrong?" Kaoru asked.

"It's my fault... If I didn't ask him to go there he would still be with us..." Cheerilee started sobbing silently.

"What do you mean?" Kaoru started to get suspicious.

"I asked him to translate some of the cryptic writings on the coffin since he is an expert on ancient civilizations. I did not want this to happen..." Cheerilee slowly said.

"It's okay. Do you have any knowledge of the artifact and its origins?" Kaoru grabbed his pen.

"The only thing I know about it is that it came from a different world. The writings on the coffin doesn't match any of the languages from any recorded civilizations in history, paranormal experts feel large energy that came from the artifact and reports of seeing the mummy's fingers twitch." Cheerilee said.

"About the mummy... Scientist confirmed that it is alive." Kaoru writes some notes onto his notepad.

"A-Alive...?" Cheerilee said nervously.

"Nevermind that. Can you please tell me about Yusuke Godai?" Kaoru asked.

"Oh... Yes... He is one of my childhood friends. I first met him in Japan where I spent my summer vacation.", Cheerilee answered, "I see you are also from Japan?"

"Yes I am." Kaoru said.

"Yusuke is a funny person, he always cheers up kids. I actually wanted him to be a guest on Canterlot High where he would perform some tricks.", Cheerilee wipes a tear off her eye, "But now he is gone..."

"Don't worry, we are working on finding his whereabouts.", Kaoru continues to write some note, "Do you have any kind of evidence? Like audio recordings about the excavation?"

"Well... I have this CD that contains a video. They say it was cursed and I haven't watched it yet." Cheerilee stood up from her couch and went to the other room to look for the tape.

"Here it is!" Cheerilee came back and handed the CD to Kaoru, along with the CD is a paper with multiple writings that came from the coffin.

"Hmmm? What's this?" Kaoru examines at the writings printed on the paper.

"Those are the writings from the coffin. You can try deciphering it." Cheerilee said.

"Thank You... Don't you have anything else to say?" Kaoru puts the CD and the paper onto his pocket.

"No... Maybe next time..." Cheerilee said.

"We'll meet again..." Kaoru stood up and greeted Cheerilee goodbye as he headed towards the door.

Human World, Kaoru Ichijo's apartment, Friday 8:00 PM

Kaoru was alone in his apartment, he inserts the CD into his computer, the video was 30 hours long which is kinda unusual, he presses the play button... All he saw was static.

"There's nothing in it..." Kaoru presses the fast forwards button and still couldn't see anything but static. Kaoru stood up and went to the freezer to get some snacks, as he was doing so, his phone rang.

"Hello?" Kaoru said as he answers the call.

"...A crime scene? Where? ......... I'll be right there." Kaoru said as he hangs up the phone.

Human World, Canterlot High, Friday 9:20 PM

Kaoru arrives to the crime scene... There were police lineup, crime photographers, and the chalk outline of the dead body.

He comes out of his car and shows his badge to the two policemen who were guarding the scene. Kaoru looks at the body bag which contains the murder victim inside.

"The victim was killed just a few hours ago." The policeman said.

Kaoru opens the zipper of the body bag, the victim is a teenage female, Brilliant azure skin tone, white long hair with multiple Very pale cornflower blue streaks.

"The victim's name is Trixie, she is a student from Canterlot High. She was found dead hidden inside one of the bushes of the School's front lawn." The policeman said.

"What's the cause of death?" Kaoru examines Trixie's dead body.

"We still don't know. We found this stabbed into her neck." The policeman shows a long needle inside an evidence bag.

"Are there any witnesses of the murder? Kaoru asked.

"No. Trixie was missing for several days, she was last seen alive using the vending machine inside the School." The policeman answered.

"..." Kaoru didn't have anything to say.

Human World, Kaoru Ichijo's apartment, 10:50 PM

Kaoru returns to his apartment...  Kaoru removes his jacket and puts it on the hanger, he then notices the audio recoder is still playing static.

Kaoru sigh as he approaches the computer, as he is about to click the stop button, a slow, low pitched and distorted voice speaking gibberish startled him. Kaoru jumped abit.

"What was that?" Kaoru rewinds the video for a couple of seconds, he heard the disturbing voice again.

He then uses a video software to trim that part of the video so it can be only a second long, he saves the file as an .mp3 file and uses an audio editing software, he makes audio higher pitched and faster. The voice was still kinda distorted but it can finally be understanded.

"Bosogidejasu, Kuuga"

"What does that mean? That didn't sound like normal japanese!" Kaoru said.

He saves the original mp3 file and the edited mp3 file into his USB, he then took it and went to the Police Apartment....

Equestria,

"The Great and Powerful Trixie demands you to let go you horrid beast!" Trixie yelled as a female Gurongi known as Zu-Mebio-Da is taking her hostage.

I approached Mebio.

"Henshin!" I yelled. I transformed into Growing Form.

"Kuuga...." Mebio growled as she threw Trixie into the air.

I quickly catched Trixie and Mebio started to attack me, I was able to dodge all of her attacks and get Trixie somewhere safe. I put Trixie a distance away from Mebio.

"Trixie, go home, I'll take care of this." I said.

"Trixie will go home at once." Trixie trotted away.

I slowly approach Mebio.

Mebio did a punch but I was able to catch her fist, I quickly threw a quick punch towards her jaw, Mebio shrieked in pain as she moves backwards, holding onto her jaw. The female Gurongi then growled at me as she runs towards me, I kicked her on the chest causing her to do a backflip on the air and land on her face a distance away. She punches the ground in frustration.

I quickly charged as much energy onto my right foot to perform my newly mastered "Growing Kick", this attack is weak and I have to hit my opponent three times to kill them with it.

I started running towards Mebio who was still trying to get up, I quickly jumped high onto the air as I launched a flying kick with my right foot towards Mebio. I hit her on the chest which caused her to slide backwards on her back, that didn't kill her just yet.

"Grrrkkkkk..." Mebio was clearly weakened.

I did the same attack again, I jumped onto the air and launch a flying kick onto her chest. Mebio fall to the ground, she was still alive but severely wounded. Just one more and it should finish her off. I did another flying kick and hit her on the same spot. A glowing symbol appears on her chest.

"Gibozizisogigidaba..." Mebio whispered before exploding.

I don't know what that meant... I think it's Gurongi Language...

Ponies that were watching the fight cheered. Looks like I finally gained their trusts... For now... I change back to my Human Form.

The ponies then continued minding their own bussiness after cheering for minutes. I went to the park to take a break. Being a Hero isn't such an easy job at all. I sat down onto a bench. I looked up the sky and closed my eyes.

"I wonder what's happening to Cheerilee back in my world..." I whispered.

Human World, Cheerilee's house, 1:00 AM

Cheerilee hears a noise in her backyard...

"Who's there...?" Cheerilee asked, she slowly approaches her window and take a look...
