Of Death and Ponies

Fluttershy walked over to Ash's side and patted him on the back with one of her front hooves.

"T-Thanks Fluttershy." Ash said as he looked up at her.

Fluttershy heard Ash's voice and looked down at him with a smile.

"No problem." Fluttershy responded as she looked into his eyes.

"Hey Fluttershy, come here for a second!"

Fluttershy quickly walked over to her caller.

"What is it Rainbow?" Fluttershy meekly asked.

"I'm just going off on a little speculation of mine here, but ARE YOU COMPLETELY INSANE?" Rainbow Dash said in a harsh whisper.

"W-What?"

"That THING has MONSTERS with it that could probably do serious damage to anything or anypony. It is not even from this UNIVERSE. To top it off, it said that they battle said monsters back on it's home planet, FOR FUN. So what do you do? You invite it to stay AT YOUR PLACE! What is wrong with you?!?!?"

"First of all Dash, that "thing" is a male human. Second that male human has a name, which is Ash by the way since you obviously were not listening to him. Lastly, why do YOU think that you can tell ME how bad or rash a decision of mine was when you have KICKED A DRAGON IN THE FACE!"

Now Rainbow Dash knew something was up, Fluttershy had gotten to the point of almost yelling at her. Even worse, she could only recal one other time Fluttershy had called her "Dash", and that was when she had accidentally scared all of Fluttershy's animals away. Rainbow Dash decided that she had better not yell at Fluttershy again.

"Just tell me this, why do you seem to care so much about him?" Rainbow Dash whispered.

"All I know is that the Pikachu that Ash has tried to fight us off by itself, it wouldn't even wake up the others to help it. It must have been trying to protect it's sleeping master and if  it tried to fight while out-numbered 1 to 6, then he must really care about Ash." Fluttershy explained.

"I guess I never thought of it that way... Heh, I just thought it was being cocky!" Rainbow Dash replied.

"Hey guy's are you ready to go yet? It's getting dark and nothing good can happen in this forest at night!" Twilight yelled over to the two pegasi.

"Except for maybe Zecora making her weirdy beardy potions!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed cheerfully.

Twilight just glared at Pinkie Pie for missing her point entirely.

The reassembled group of harmony walked over to Ash.

"How are you going to follow us Ash?" Twilight asked with a sparkle in her eye. She knew she was going to learn something new.

"By traveling on Pidgeot of course!" Ash exclaimed.

Rainbow Dash cringed, she knew if someone rode on her back, then her back would hurt more than anything.

Ash saw the look on Rainbow Dash's face, "Don't worry, it doesn't hurt him, I assure you." Ash said as he smiled warmly.

"Alright let's go!" Twilight said as the pony group started to trek forward into the night.

"You girls can head on back, I'll go with Ash so I can direct him to the cottege."

"Okay then Fluttershy, see you tomorrow!" Twilight yelled as the pony crew continued moving forward.

Fluttershy waved goodbye and turned to Ash.

"Are you ready to go?" Fluttershy asked.

"Sure am!" Ash answered.

Ash got onto Pidgeot, but didn't take off.

"Why aren't you going?"

"I'm waiting for you to get on! Theres no reason for you to fly when Pidgeot can hold both of us and fly without breaking a sweat!"

Fluttershy looked at Pidgeot, to which Pidgeot nodded.

"O-Okay" Fluttershy stammered as she got on.

"Okay we are here!" Fluutershy said just loud enough for Pidgeot to hear.

Pidgeot landed and Ash put him back in his pokeball.

Fluttershy opened the door, "Ahh home sweet home."

Then it struck her, what would angel bunny think?
