Chapter one, Any other day

“Hay have you heard, hey!! Your listening you two??” Apple bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were all hanging out at the cutie mark clubhouse, Apple Bloom was talking while Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were busy planning out their next attempt to get their cutie marks and was clearly not listening to what Apple Bloom was saying. “Sorry Apple Bloom, what was you saying?” Both Sweetie and Scootaloo looked up to look at their friend with apoligetic faces. “As I was saying, There’s this huge event happening in Canterlot, big sister Apple Jack and her friends are going, My sister says I can come too see and there Princess Celestria will pick one random pony and give that pony one request. He or She can ask for whatever he or she wants and the princess will do it, you know..within reason of cause.” Apple Bloom puffed up her chest and carried on “If one of us gets picked, we could ask the princess for our cutie marks!!” It was a very good idea but Scootaloo doubt Princess Celestria would just magic up the cutie mark of a filly if asked since that is something every pony has to descover their own way. Sweetie’s voice broke Scootaloo’s trail of thought as she started again to think of ways to discover their marks the hard way. “I remember now, my sister said she’d take me too, I cant wait to go.” Both Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle was just about to ask Scootaloo if Rainbow siad if she could also go to Canterlot when the voices of Rarity calling Sweetie Belle in for the night and Apple Jack could be heard calling outside. Scootaloo watched as her two friends went off with their family, she alone stayed in the tree house. She didn’t have to wait long however as Rainbow Dash landed just outside after flying around. Scootaloo didn’t even wait to be called, she saw the flash of the rainbow coloured tail and smiled, running over to the cyan blue pegusas and hugged her big sister, though not related by blood Dash for all Scootaloo cared was family. “Say Dash, can I go to Canterlot with you tomorrow?” Rainbow looked down at the beaming young filly and smiled back. “No, because we heading to Canterlot now, I already got our room ready for us kiddo, come on I’ll fly you.”

Scootaloo just loves being carried while Rainbow flew high in the sky, Scootaloo spread her small wings as far as they go making it feel like she was also flying high in the sky. Then she saw it, the great buildings and gardens of Canterlot, from the sky everything looked so small, the closer they got though the bigger everything became, It didn’t take Dash long to find her requested open window and she landed inside after flying inside the room for her and Scootaloo. Closing the window both Dash and Scootaloo slept the rest of the night, to get ready for the big day tomorrow. The next day came and the big event had started, every pony who turned up wrote their name on the guest list so Celestia knew who had came to pick that one day. Outside, Rainbow Dash, beside her was young Scootaloo and not forgetting there was also Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity and Sweetie, Twilight and of cause Apple Jack and Apple Bloom all together. It was a party to remember, to celebrate the magic of friendship and good times. When the time came for Celestria to walk up the main stage in the gardens every pony hushed and watched the alicorn with respect. “Welcome my little ponies and I thank you all for coming to celebrate this day with everyone. Now as said, I will randomly pick one name out and that pony can ask one thing from me” Everyone watched in silence as one of the pony guards held a rather large box in frunt of the princess. Using the magic of her horn she pulled out a folded piece of paper, unfolding it and called out the name, Rainbow Dash. Every Pony cheered hard as Rainbow took flight and landed before Celestria, bowing her head low in respect for the princess. “And what is it I can do for you Rainbow Dash?” Dash thought hard on what she wanted, she knew she wanted to join the wonder bolts as that was her goal, as she was thinking what to ask for she glanced to the crowd, at her friends. She saw Pinkie Pie bouncing with a huge smile on her face and somehow out of no-where Pinkie brought out a flag with Rainbow dash’s head on it. Twilight looked up at Dash and just smiled and nodded her head, Fluttershy was tring not to be so noticed but still managed to give her good friend rainbow an encouraging smile, Rarity and Sweetie belle was both very happy for Rainbow and watched on with a smile. Apple Jack and Apple Bloom was also smiling, Apple Jack tipped her hat to Rainbow and like Twilight she also nodded her head and then Rainbow’s eyes fell on Scootaloo. She was happy for her big sister, Rainbow could see that in her little sister but seeing her adopted sister smiling at her with those admired filled eyes made it clear to Rainbow what to ask the princess. Dash turned back to Celestria and instead of speaking outloud she whispered into the princess’s ear. The princess gived a small smile and nodded. As Celestria spread her wings and took to the sky Rainbow turned back to Scootaloo from the stage and winked to the little filly, watched as the princess landed right in front of Scootaloo. “Your friend and big sister Rainbow told me to allow the wish for one thing to be given to you young Scootaloo. So tell me, what is it you wish for? If I can make it happen I will.” Scootaloo couldn’t believe her ears, Dash did this for her…and there before her awaited Celestria with her answer. “Well…..um….I know I have Dash and I got like the coolest friends any filly could ever want but, if you could do me just one thing…any one thing, I would like a dad or a mom…a pearent in my life..but I’m most likely asking for too much so…” Celestria held up her front hoof to silence the filly. “It shall be done, I Celestria will will fufill your request. Go now and have fun with your friends, I must speak to Twilight and her friends now.”

The Princess watched as Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle started to play and have fun together. After bidding her guests to have fun and to enjoy the celabration she headed inside the palace closely followed by Twilight and the others. On arriving at their destantion she stopped in a strange circle room, on the floor was strange shapes and symbols painted on the tiles and right in the middle of the room was an orb. “Princess..how exactly are you going to fufill that request?” Celestria expected this question from twilight. “You six….look into the orb and I will explain” Using the power of her horn she activated the power of the orb. The six ponies looked in to see a human sitting on his bed playing on this strange device. Celestria went on explaining, “I have been studying this human for meny weeks and though he is a strange one he alone has been true to our ways and believes in us like no other human. Though he is but a human Iwill allow a way for you six and scootaloo to talk with this human…I believe this human will also make a great father for Scootaloo, I will of cause speak with him first. Just understand for our safty when arriving to his world you will not be a pony but will take a human form. I will speak with him tonight, Twilight before you ask me questions, first give this a chance and learn through this new experience. Now I bid you to leave while I enter the world of the humans.”
