Alone stood one strange tower. It comprised of four main support bars, connected by many others small metal bars. At the top it held a round thing, as the whole tower stood in an empty field.
The wind blew slowly and eerily, as it seamed everything was quiet. Perhaps it was all waiting for something. One could only feel a strong presence of something else. Something was watching, anticipating something too happen.
The tower was closer now, time seamed to have passed. Looking up from the base, one could see a round thing held at the top. Around it were many wires, all heading to some sort of box on the side. Somehow, one could tell it held a purpose for being here at this time.
Suddenly, knowledge of what the thing comprised of flew by. The inner surface area was laden with a material... a combustable material. In the very middle, lay a single sphere. This sphere was important, made of a material, dangerous material. Everything about it screamed unstable, dangerous, uncertain.
Then suddenly, something came clear. The tower stood, as a electric current ran through the wires. They ignited the combustible material, and immediately compressed the sphere in the center. Suddenly, high pitched screaming was heard, as the sphere compressed and compressed. The screaming reached an unbearably high tone, as a reaction happened.

Twilight shot up. Her eyes were wide, and face covered in sweat.
"T-t-that... it was..." she muttered, when suddenly she turned and picked up a pencil and notepad with her magic.
In a few seconds, she quickly drew a sketch of what she was already begining to forget. However, she managed to get the main point drawn.
"That thing... why was it screaming?" Twilight muttered to herself as she rubbed her eye.
Suddenly, she looked back to the notepad, and was able to perfectly remember that this design was correct. It showed the outside sphere, with the combustible material inside, with the strange sphere in the middle. out on the surface sides where the wires, that she could tell were to ignite the combustible material, and cause the reaction.
The only thing she wasn't sure of now, was what the reaction was. Twilight had been trying to get the designs and memories down on paper after her dreams. Once a night for the last three weeks, these same, somewhat related dreams kept coming. Each time, being less and less vague. It seamed apparent she was supposed to learn something, it felt like the dreams were sent to her from elsewhere.
However, now Twilight sat there, barely able to think about it now. It was still 1:00 a.m. in the morning, and her body still needed much rest.
"I guess I'll put it together tomorrow." Twilight said quietly to herself.
With back down on the bed again, blanket over her body, Twilight shut her eyes.
Immediately, they sprung back open. A name came, but she knew not how or were it came from. However, it was on top of her mind now.
"Trinity... what is Trinity?" she asked herself, staring in confusion at the ceiling.
Nothing more came, so Twilight sighed, and wrote down the name. Now, she finally laid back down, and fell to sleep quickly and quietly.
Chapter 1: Putting together the pieces.
"Twilight!" yelled Spike, "You still up there?!"
Twilight had been spending the last few hours of the mourning looking over numerous pages of her journal, and intricately copying details from it. Her hopes were that she could put them all together into some meaning, from the equations to peices of designs, all things she quickly jotted down over the last week of her dreams.
"Just wait a bit Spike!" she yelled back, delving back to her thinking.
The dreams first came about 3 weeks ago, but at first were short, brief, and seamed to be random. But something felt very related, and over time they become more common, and began including details, all about some reaction. She began setting a journal next to her bed to write down things as soon as she woke, in order to see if they had any meaning. Then, it proved that there was something related. Something that felt utterly terrifying yet amazing. All including strange feelings that did not seam like her own.
The dreams had begun to come every night now. They ran like their own movie, where Twilight watched and felt everything, but made no discussions herself. It felt like she was seeing something someone else lived... but she had no proof other than the feeling.
Over the next ten minutes, Twilight stared at the sheet she had just made. She was able to now conclude there were three separate designs, that all lead to the same reaction. On the side was the word Trilogy, and a brief statement on what the feelings she felt in the last dream were like. The feeling of emptiness, expectancy, then sudden horror, amazement, and feeling of being in power.
The Designs dram was one of the device she witness in the last dream with the strange material in the center, one that appeared to send a different strange material projectile into another chunk of the itself, and one that she had just started, showing only the same design from that device, above a rod of the strange material, but it was evidently hardly complete.
With some more time to make sure she wasn't going to conclude anything else, she put everything into a locked case next to her desk. She labelled it the Manhattan files, something felt very fitting about it, even though it misspelled Manehattan.
Upon coming downstairs, she went on her usual routine, trying to put the dreams in the back of her head. Spike had cooked some pancakes, presumedly to attempt to get her to come downstairs finally. After a brief thank you, and quick breakfast, Twilight began order out the library for the day.

As she went over her checklist over the next few hours, which was kind of boring, Twilight remember something. The next check read did you have anything happen to report to Celestia? Somehow, she had not even considered sending the Princess anything about her dreams. But, now that she thought of it, something brought about that scream, the scream that came right as the gadget was ignited, and the reaction happened. Twilight shook her head and phases out for a bit, only to come back to reality forgetting what she was just pondering.
"That thing, Gadget.... that it's name!" said Twilight as she regained her posture.
Spike came turned to her and gave an awkward look, "What gadget?"
Twilight quickly tried to cover it up, "Oh, I-I just... It's a novel that I need returned! Yes, that's it!"
Spike raised his eyebrow thing, "Twilight, I can tell when your covering something up."
Twilight sighed, "Fine, it's part of those dreams..."
Spike stared in surprise, "Your still having them? That a bad nightmare streak, maybe you want to see a therapist?"
"They're not nightmares! Well, yeah, they feel horrify, but they also feel empowering, but nothing I see in them should relate to those feelings!" Said Twilight quickly.
Spike just stared at her as she abruptly stopped rambling, "Twilight, what are you talking about?"
Twilight sighed again, "It's just, these dreams keep coming to me, I feel like they are coming from somewhere else, like being inserted into my mind... I know you think it sound crazy, but I have been writing things down, and they are coming together! It all means something, a reaction."
Spike scratched his head, "A reaction...? What reaction?"
Twilight sat silent for a bit, "I... don't know. It's something powerful, but I don't know in what way."
Spike thought for a moment, "Maybe, if your so certain this means something, you should send a letter to Princess Celestia about it."
Twilight shot up, "Right, I remember, I was just thinki- AH!"
Twilight felt her head, the screma came back, but now it hurt. the word Hiroshima flashed before her eyes for mutliple seconds, before it spread to something about a little boy.
"Twilight! What happened?! Twilight!" Yelled Spike as he chook Twilight.
"Hiroshima! The Little Boy targets Hiroshima, the Fat Man aims for Nagasaki! Cold-Cold! ....... SPIIIIKE!" Said Twilight as she lied on the ground shaking.
Suddenly, she blacked out.

"Uggg... what happened?" Said Twilight, as she opened her eyes, seeing the roof of the LIbrary.
"Yah alright girl?" asked a familiar southern accent.
Twilight sat up from her bed, "Applejack? What are you doing here?"
Applejack felt her forehead first, then answered, "Spike got me as ah was passin' by, he was all in a fuzz about you going mad. Ah came in to find you passed out on the ground, so ah brought yah up to yer bed. Spiek said yah were muttering some crazy saying over and over, can yah remember anything?"
Twilight though hard, as she began to remember what she was doing just before, "Me and Spike were talking, about some dreams I have been having recently, when he suggested... Gah!"
Tiwlight held her head again, the scream came, but for a very brief moment.
"It doesn't want me to do that..." muttered Twilight.
"What did yah say?" asked Applejack, as she looked at Twilight with a concerned expression, "Your head hurtin' yah?"
Twilight rubbed her head, "Yeah... could you get me some water?"
Applejack nodded, "Of course, though ah think y'all might want to have the doctor take a look at yah, considering yah were out for four hours."
Twilight gagged, "Four hours?! What?!"
Suddenly Spike came in, "Twilight! Your up!"
Twilight looked to Spike, "Hey, what was it I was muttering Spike?"
Spike looked at Applejack unsurely, then back to her, "I uh... It didn;t make any sense, but I wrote it down considering our conversation."
Spike went over to Twilights desk on the other side of the room, as Applejack gave Twilight her water. Upon grabbing the paper he needed, he came up beside Twilight.
"Little Boy target's Hiroshima... Fat Man aims for Nagasaki, Cold." said Spike off the letter.
Applejack spoke up, "That sounds like a assault, Hiroshima and Nagasaki are names."
Twilight thought, then remember the line perfectly as it was stated to her, and she apparently repeated.
"They are names, but I am not sure what they mean... and the Cold, it is fear... some sort of perpetual fear..."
Applejack and Spike sat quietly, before Applejack spoke up, "So are yah feeling alright Twi?"
"Yeah, I am just confused at the moment."
Spike spoke up, "Well, I still sent Princess Celestia a letter, I also copied in some things from that manhatten folde-"
Suddenly, Spike was cut off by Twilight first twitching, then a blood curdling scream, before she was out cold again.
Applejack and Spike stared in brief horror, before making sure she wasn't dead. After that was done, Spike and Applejack stared at each other uncertainly, unsure of what ailed their friend.
