The Legend of the Sound Striders

So, it's been four days since you have last seen Luna, four days since she... nevermind that, you have to go see her.

"Where is he?" Luna thought aloud, "Where's who Luna?" Celestia said while poking her head into the doorway.

"were you listening to me?" Luna said eyes shooting open.

"Yes, and before you go saying I should mind my own business, we have been worrying about you, you hvae been locked up in your room for three days." Celestia said with a look of worry on her face.

"I'm fine I just need some alone time." Luna said, turning away from Celestia.

"If you need alone time then who are you waiting for? oh, has Luna found a colt-friend?" Celstia said teasing her sister.

"NO, well maybe, I don't know. After I showed him how I feel, he hasn't come back." Luna said lowering her head.

"Then maybe it was never meant to-" Celestia was cut off when a rip opened up before them.

"This hallway is longer than I remember it" You thought aloud.

You are galloping down the hallway you had made for Luna with your powers, sweat trickling down your head, and your eyes they're... flickering?

You finally made it to the door and kick it open with all your might not just opening it, you kicked the door right in half.

You poke your head out and look around you see Luna lightly crying but smiling, and Celestia with the look like she is going to send you to the sun.

You and Celestia have'nt really met before, you only visit Luna.

"Guards! There is an intruder! Come immediately!" Celestia Shouted

"Sister no, this is who I was waiting for, this is my co-colt fr-friend" Luna said stutering while trying to wipe away the tears.

You sit there, you just... sit there, not knowing what to do about this scene before you. You have seen Luna cry before but not because of you, you feel horrible, "I think i'll take that trip to the sun now..." You thought to yourself but get startled by another voice in your head, " Oh, I will gladly send you there" It was Celestia's voice. You raise your head only to be met by the glare of Celestia and the now happy look of Luna.

It was silent, well not to you, you can hear everything even the bouncing of the atoms. But Celestia was the first to break the "Silence" and say, "Ok I want to know everything, no details left out."

"Well as you already know, I'm a good friend of Luna, maybe... a bit more... if she would still let me. We knew each other throughout Magic High school and College and I've had the honor to be her friend and-" You say but get cut off by Celestia, "Magic High school? But you're an earth pony... why did you go to a magic high school?"

"Night here is not really a pony, if my memory serves me right you are pure sound?" Luna said rasing a hoof to her head.

"Not entirely, I am still pony but a special breed, much like an alicorn, my magic is enhanced by magical properties of my parents, which was harmonious music made by ponies."

"Wait, I have heard of this, are you a... a Sound Strider?" Celestia asked with a bit of worry in her voice.

"Yes actually I am, the last one fact, I didn't think anypony still knew about my kind."
"Not many do, because you're kind went extinct a very long time ago, it's suprising to find one still alive, how old are you?"

You are cuaght off guard by the statment, "I-I'm just as old as Luna here and why did you say my kind went extinct?"

Luna was sitting there listening in on the conversation, what she didn't know was that Night Music had his own kind of pony. She thought he was just a special Earth Pony.

"You're only old as my dear sister? Well, I did not expect this, and for your kind being extinct, well there has not been a recorded birth of a Sound Strider for over five-hundred years, apperantely you are the first in these five-hundred years. This is a sign, of what I do not know." Celestia said, explaining things to you.

You sat there, deep in thought, "How could I be the only one left? This doesn't make sense." "Hey Celestia?" You said

"Yes?" She asked
"Could I get some time with Luna? alone?" You ask still deep in thought.

"Sure" She said, "I'll just leave you two lovebirds alone" She said giving you a wink.

Your face turns the brightest shade of red, at the thought of what you just asked. You look towards Luna, who also has a blush on her face, so... she's thinking the same thing you are, again your face takes a bright shade of red. You both just sit there, silent.

"So, you like me?" You ask.

"What made you think that?" Luna asked most sarcastically.

"Ok, fine then, I guess, I will have to find another mare-friend" You say turning away from Luna.

And in that moment Luna spins you around and your lips lock together, again like last time your body tenses up but relaxes a moment later and you start to kiss back. You both are sitting there, kissing, holding each other when suddenly a sweet melody starts to play out of the blue, (Que Uplifting Smooth Jazz) Luna asks, "Is that you?"

You look at the ground as your face turns bright red and say, "Ya, my body emits a song, when I have a strong emotions, like right now, I'm as happy as I can be"

"You're not the only one who is happy, I'm just glad that I shared my feelings, and you returned them" She said smiling towards you.

"So here you are, sitting here, in Luna's room, sharing a good time while it lasts. Things can't get any better, or can they?" "Hey, inner dialogue, can you keep it down? "Maybe, but the question is, "Can I keep it down?Since I am you." "Fine, can I keep it down?" "Yes, but let me finish" "Fine but make it quick" So here you are, sitting here, in Luna's room, sharing a good time while it lasts. Things can't get any better, or can they? We won't be able to tell, until the next chapter. "Chapter? This isn't a story you know" Oh, If only he knew.
