Torrie, Transformers, and Triple the Rainbow

The Doctor calmly looked on as Kyle and Francis began pummeling each other into the dirt for their (AND RAINBOWS’) honor. He chuckled when they kicked each other in the balls at the exact same time, for the third instance in so many minutes. The two Rainbow Dashes were simply sitting there, dumbstruck, as their two human friends fought for “glory.” The Doctor decided a change of pace was necessary. He set the TARDIS to envelop the surrounding life-forms, and launched the whole party into a different dimension. He did not think of the repairs he forgot to do in all the excitement.

The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS in his familiar bipedal, trench coat-clad form. He sighed, stretching his new digits. Sooooo much more relaxing than hooves. He saw the other “changes” the TARDIS had made. There were now not only five humans surrounding the TARDIS on the beach in Los Angeles, but two wrestling ponies. Fluttershy looked around, and stared at the bright yellow tank and capri pants she was wearing. Ditzy looked right at home in a grey v-neck and jeans, her eyes were perfectly fine. And both the Dashes had bright blue tees on with a rainbow bolt right down the middle. Denim shorts cut off right above the knees. One was obviously about twenty five, the other, maybe sixteen. The two ponies, Kyle and Francis, stopped wrestling abruptly.

Kyle was a light grey color, and an average build for a stallion. As a unicorn, he had an unusually sharp horn. His cutie mark was a heart that seemed to always shift colors.

R, O, Y, G, B, I, V... the Doctor mused on that for a moment, and turned his attention to the pony on the left.

Francis was a pegasus, a dark shade of orange, almost to the point of brown. He was leaner than the average, even for a pegasus, yet his wings were well muscled and spanned maybe seven feet. His own cutie mark was a tree, with rainbow leaves.Once again with the rainbows... he addressed the crowd.

“Hello, there. It seems our species integrity has been compromised.” He noticed the now-crying Francis and Kyle. “Oh, get up, you two. If you don't stop wallowing in self-pity, I'll bite your nose. I do have incisors and canines, now.” He chuckled. “We are here to blow off unnecessary steam. You two need to stop fighting. So we will have a beach day. Kyle and Francis  are strong enough for a rider, so Dash, both of you, mount up.” The Doctor then reached into hammerspace and pulled out riding saddles, even one that fit a pegasus pony.

I felt ridiculous. Kyle was barely trotting with the older Dash on his back, visibly struggling. I had less of  problem, but Dash wouldn’t stop fidgeting. My wings fluttered in protest. Dash was having the time of her life, riding her father on the beach. (Shut up, perverts.) She giggled uncontrollably. I, for some reason, felt like my wings were natural. So, on impulse, I leapt into the sky and landed on the pier. I found no fault with this. But, like real humans, everyone else was staring. is staring. I heard the whispers.

“Is that a pegasus?”

“What is that thing?”

“Mommy, can I look?”

“Dr. Who? What the HELL?”

“A unicorn! Impossible!”

“The one in yellow is kinda cute...”

“Still, weird...”

“MY LITTLE PONY! PONIESOMYGOSHOMYGOSHOMYGOSHHHHHHHHHH!”

Unsurprisingly, it was a man, maybe early twenties. He and his friends fainted on the spot.

“Oh, dear. We must leave, quickly. I forgot that humans know what the other ponies from My Little Pony look like.”

We ran back to the TARDIS. It was smoking in an unreassuring way. The Doctor began muttering about an overheated power core, and he dashed inside with a bucket of seawater. The smoking abruptly stopped, only to be replaced with a vortex just as disorienting as the teleport spell Twilight uses.

We looked around, and found ourselves in Ponyville Town Square. Completely abandoned. Everyone was back to normal, except for me and Kyle. We looked and we had a strange tattoo on our shoulders. Our Cutie Marks? Huh. A tree with rainbow leaves. Fitting. Also: I still had wings. And Kyle still had a horn. The wings tore a hole in my favorite shirt. Oh, well. Still, really cool I have wings. I flapped up to the roof, like it came to me naturally.

I heard Kyle muttering in a corner to someone. I listened and caught the name “Torrie”. I wonder what that meant. A flash went off in some corner of the Everfree.

A blue pegasus grumbled in the middle of the Everfree Forest. He stomped on a branch in rage, and muttered about another botched spell. He kicked his hoof and fluttered his wings.

“Oh, well, better get back to Town Square. The others will want to know where I am.”

And with that, Rainbow Blitz shot off into the distance, leaving behind a  not-so-unique-anymore rainbow trail.
