The Apocalypse Has Come

It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, clear skies with all the birds flying by in the big blue sky, yes it was indeed a wonderful day. All the townsfolk were doing their usual stuff, Pinkie working at Sugar Cube Corner, Rarity working on new clothes, Applejack getting the apples, Rainbow Dash chilling in the clouds, Fluttershy playing with all the animals in her garden, and Twilight in her library studying like a good student. Everypony was happy with their lives, but none of them knew that their wonderful world was going to end.

"What a beautiful day isn't it spike," said Twilight with a smile on her face.

"Sure is Twilight ha I wish everyday was like this."

"Me too."

Twilight was getting ready to visit the princess to give her the report of her studies about friendship. As she was about to leave a letter from the princess was sent.

"It's a letter from the princess".

"What does it say," replied Twilight.

"To my faithful student Twilight, I would like for you to please visit me here at Canterlot for an important and tragic news. Please hurry."

"The princess is in trouble, come Spike we must hurry."

"Right."

Twilight bolted right out of her home and caught the fastest train to Canterlot.

She arrived at Canterlot and as she ran to the castle, so many things were going through her mind. She arrived at the castle and ran towards the throne room, there was Princess Celestia sitting on the throne looking depress and worried.

"Princess!"yelled Twilight. "What's wrong."  Celestia look at Twilight with tearful eyes.

"Come here my student," sobbed Celestia.

"What is it princess," replied Twilight with a worried tone in her voice.

Celestia arose from her throne and walked towards Twilight and gave her a loving hug. Twilight can feel the wetness of her cheeks from the tears. Celestia look at Twilight,

"I have tragic news Twilight, I thought this day would never come, but the world we all know and love is about to end." "

"

What!" yelled Twilight with shock. "But how do you know."

"I knew this day was going to come, but I never thought this soon.I have been seeing signs. We have a book that tells us of   this day and what are the signs. I have been on the look out for these signs everyday and for the past week I have been seeing the signs appear faster everyday and now I can fell it coming."

Hearing this news Twilight began to cry knowing that all her friends and her family and everyone she ever loved was going to die.

"I called you here Twilight so that you may go back to Ponyville and give everypony the news so they may live their final moments with the people they love. I will go around all of Equestria giving the news."  She placed her wing around Twilight who was full of tears.  "You were my greatest student Twilight and i'm so happy to have meet you on that day. I love you Twilight."

Hearing this made Twilight cry even more.

"I love you too."

"Now go my student, give the news so they may too say their love to those whom they love." Celestia then gave her a big final hug with tears running down her cheeks, she gave her a kissed on her forehead.

"Farewell my student."

"Farewell,"replied Twilight.  She then took off to catch the fastest train to Ponyville.

"How i am going to break the news to everypony Spike,"sobbed Twilight.

"I..I don't know,"replied Spike with a worried tone.

Twilight sat there in the train booth thinking how to break the news and how she has to tell her friends goodbye. This once beautiful day turned into the worst day in Twilight's life.
