Acheron, a hobby writer and Warhammer fanatic, heads off on what was supposed to be a simple trip into the back woods in an area four hours away. Unfortunately, life has a way of slapping everyone from time to time.

Falling through the veil between worlds, he ends up on the very day of the invasion of the changelings. Although he has many questions, including the circumstances behind his arrival, the question that remains at the forefront of his mind: How is he going to get home?
