“I should find a place to stay around her. Maybe I could live out here with all of the adorable creatures.” Fluttershy walked through the forest for a few hours, seeing what she could find. Eventually, she came across a beautiful old cottage.
An old pony was sitting in a chair in front of the house, “Why hello their little pony.” She called out, “Come on over, don’t be shy.”
“Um, okay I-I will.” Fluttershy slowly walked over to the old pony, avoiding eye contact with her.
“Let me ask you a question little pony. What’s your name?”
“I’m um *squeak* I’m Fluttershy, ma-am.”
“Well Fluttershy, I saw what you were doin wit the little animals around here. You have a very special gift. Let me ask you, do you think you could look after this cottage for me? I won’t charge you a bit, I just want to pass my house down to a pony that can take care of a cottage, and who loves the wild life around here.”
Fluttershy looked up at her, “Really, I mean, are you really okay with a little pony like me taking care of this place?”
“Well why not Fluttershy? You see, I’m quite old and I’ve saved up enough bits over my life to spend my last few years in Manehattan. My daughter owns an Apartment building there, so I think she’ll let me stay there.”
“Oh thank you ma-am, you don’t know what this means to me.”
“Come on Fluttershy, let me show you the place.” The two went inside, “It’s not much, It’s got a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. It makes for good livin though. Come on, let me show you the outside.” The two stepped back outside into the back yard, “Out here we’ve got a few chicken coops. Do you think you can take care of a few chickens?”
“Oh yes, I would love that.”
“Well that’s good. Oh and that there is the Everfree Forest. You don’t wanna go in there, things just ain’t natural.”
“Um, okay I’ll keep that in mind.”
“Well, that’s pretty much all you need to know. Good bye then little pony, I’ll be heading off to Manehatten now.” The old pony started walking to what looked like a town in the distance.
“I wonder what town that is. I guess I’ll check it out later.” She walked over to the chicken coop. A chicken popped his head out of the coop, then it ran out, jumped over the fence, and ran into the Everfree Forest, “Oh no, um, please come back here little chicken.” But the chicken was gone, “Oh no, now what should I do?” Suddenly, a little white bunny hopped up to her and pulled on he mane to get her attention, “Hello little bunny. What should I do now? I lost a chicken in the Everfree Forest.” The bunny had a stern look on it’s face as it pointed to the Everfree Forest, “What, why do you want me to go in their? The nice old pony made it clear to not go in there.” The bunny shook his head and pointed back at the Everfree Forest, “Um, okay, if you insist. *squeak*” She walked over to the entrance to the forest, “Okay, let’s get this over with.” She walked in with her new bunny friend in search of the lost chicken, “It’s really dark in this place. How are we gonna find the chicken?” The bunny hopped his way up to her head and scowled down at her, “Okay fine, we’ll keep looking.” Fluttershy walked a few steps forward when a chicken suddenly hopped out of a bush and ran out of the forest. Suddenly, another chicken head popped out of the bush with it’s eyes close. It quickly popped out of the bush to reveal that it wasn’t a chicken, but a snake with the head of a chicken. It opened it’s eyes looking right at Fluttershy. The bunny grabbed Fluttershy’s mane and turned her around. She looked at a bush where a little squirrel popped out and looked at the weird creature behind Fluttershy, and the squirrel suddenly turned into stone, “Oh no.” Fluttershy closed her eyes and began shaking in fear. The bunny knocked on her forehead and she opened her eyes. The bunny was looking down at her and pointing at the exit of the forest, “Okay, I can do this.” She ran straight towards the light at the end of the forest without looking back once. When she made it out of the forest she ran quickly inside to her new house with the bunny still on her head, “Thank you little bunny. You saved my life. Would you like to stay here with me?” The little bunny nodded it’s head happily, “That’s nice. I think I’ll call you, Angel, for being my angel today.”
