Cloudsdale, the Untold Story

A look into Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's childhood and the story of a lost childhood friend.

Telling the tale of a long time friendship of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, and their long lost best friend, Midnight Flare. The three friends grow close together through their times together in flight school. After five years together, one tragic race causes the three to separate. After a near death experience, Midnight is forced by the spirit of Nightmare Moon in his mind to attempt to kill Rainbow Dash and chases her down for years, hoping to be free from his curse.

Note: Yes, Midnight is an alicorn, but when I wrote this story originally, I didn't notice any significance with them and no one told me a thing until I was deep into my story. Since I made it so far through writing, I just had to keep it. Don't worry, I will have it explained later in my 4th story that I have yet to have posted here.
