Action Side: Demons from Tartarus have escaped their eternal prisons and took on a new physical form, The Corrupted. Equestria and the very planet are on the brink of annihilation… unless the Equestran Special Operations Command has anything to say about it.

Romance Side: Meet Echo, a 25 year old bat pony that just graduated from boot camp as a Private First Class and has just been assigned to the 2nd Infantry Unit based in Ponyville. Although proud to have graduated, he has to deal with years racism and being a social outcast since the day he immigrated from Rook Isles, a small, Celestia-forsaken, anarchic chain of islands between Equestria and Gryponia. However, he managed to capture the attention of a certain unicorn mare named Ember
