how did you get here?

First things first I should be questioning is if the pony on my couch is real, but she has to be because she is sitting there. I sat down on the couch next to her, and began to look at her.

"How did you get here?" I asked noticing the sad expression on her face.

"Ah don't remember... all ah remember is waking up here in this town, and not  much more before that." I looked at her questioningly.

"Is that really all you can remember?" I asked. She then held a hoof to her head and let out a yelp in pain.

" Are you okay?" I asked concerned.

"I'm fine muh head just hurts a little when I try to remember any more."  I looked at her in some concern. Maybe shes has a fever, or a headache.

"Can I put my hand to your head  to see if you have a fever or not." She nods, I put my hand on her head. A small blush formed on her cheeks showing her freckles off. I guess she not used to being touched, but her head was hot though not to bad.

"Applejack your burning up. You need some rest... take my bed, and you should feel better

She gave me an unsure look. "Were are you gonna sleep?"

I looked at her. "I'm sleeping on the couch." She looked at me surprised that I would give up my own bed for her.

"But that's your bed! Ah can't just take your bed... I will take the couch." I gave her a smile

"No, you take the bed. The couch is not to comfy, but you need good sleep and I will not take 'No' as an answer. Now come on and I will tuck you in." She gave me an angry face.

"I'm a big mare! I can tuck myself in bed." I roll my eyes

"Okay, then suit yourself." I watched her walk slowly towards my bed, and open the sheets with her teeth, then jumps in tucking herself under the blanket.

"Goodnight Applejack." I said as I lay down on the couch. Before I close my eyes, I hear her say the words that I rarely  heard now days.

"Goodnight Lee."

Two hours later

I awoke to the sound of thunder. I saw Applejack holding onto the covers for dear life. She was awake that was for sure with a terrified look on her face. I got up and went over to check on her.  "Are you okay?"

She looked up at me. " N-no, I'm not... I'm scared of thunder, but my family would always be there for me when this happens to me." She had tears in her eyes as I wrapped my arms around her.

"Shh.... I'm here you will be okay." She blushed while I held her in my arms. She buried her face against my chest and wrapped her front hoofs around me.

"Please... stay with me tonight. I don't want to be alone." She was blushing, but the pleading look in her eyes told me that she was still scared. "Okay... I will stay. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." I laid down next to her on the bed. We both said good night to each other again and soon fell asleep while the storm raged outside.
