Applejack

I opened my eyes to see Applejack sleeping next to me hat on my counter next to her. I decided to wake her up so I poked her ear a few times and watch it twitch then her eyes open up. "Morning" I say as she wakes up.  I hear her stomach growl making her blush with embarrassment.

"Do you have anything to eat... I'm starved."

I thought for a second. "Well I just moved in yesterday, so lets see what's in the fridge." I walked towards the fridge, and open it to see some fruit and a few eggs. So I grab something that has an A in it, and gave it to her. "Here Applejack." I hand her an apple.

"I love apples thanks!" She begins to eat the apple then throws the apple core in the garbage. I hear my phone go off scaring Applejack with it's ringing. She quickly rushes to me and wraps her hooves around me.

"What is that?" She asks pointing a hoof at my Iphone.

"Its an Iphone. Let's see who's calling." I reach for my phone and look at the numbers "Vince... stay quite, okay AJ." I tell her and she nods. "Hello?"

"Hey Lee! It's me Vince... listen I need you to come by my house right now!" I know i can't right now with Applejack being here and all so I give him my answer to his request.

"Sorry man I can't I have a visitor with me." I think for a second "Can't talk gotta go bye!" Smooth lee smooth I thought to myself as I hang up and put the phone in my pocket. I resume talking to AJ, her new nickname, who is looking somewhat sadden that the moment. "Hey AJ... are you okay?"

She looks up at me and lets out a sigh. "I'm just... home sick... ah miss my family."

I look at her and began to feel pity for her. "I can only imagine AJ." I said then hugged her. She blushed as she was in my embrace, but returned the hug back. I let go and looked into her emerald eyes. "Look... I don't know what happened, but until tell we find a way for you to get home... you are going to stay here, okay?" She hugged me tighter burying her muzzle into my shoulder.

"Thank ya Lee! I promise not to be a bother, but what do we do now?"

I looked at my watch 9:21 A.M. "Well first... you stink you need a bath."

She give herself a quick sniff. "Ah don't smell that bad."

I decided to lie to get her to take a bath. "Well humans have to take bathes or you will never be loved... and well the same goes for you AJ."

She gasped and quickly began looking for the bathroom."Where is the bathroom then?" I point the door and she runs over throwing the door with her hooves then closes it. After a minute I hear splashing before I hear my phone go off again, but when I look at the messages I find one it says "Carter." It wasn't a number I recognized so I didn't respond, and went looking through my phone book.I met during my trip here. Leo has a odd obsession with the dream world, Eddie was the insane and coolest person... you don't want to hang with, but he's a nice guy, and Jessica was Vince's girlfriend... those two were a cute nerdy couple.

I heard the door open only to see a much cleaner AJ as she gives me with a soft smile. "I wanna learn more about this world if I'm going to stay here for a while."

I began to think again. "Actually I think that would be the best. My friend Vince, he's a good guy, is the closest friend of mine so lets go meet him."

We walked though the quite neighborhood so I didn't think anyone was around to spot us. I knew where Vince's house was and it was close to mine so once we got there I knocked on the door with AJ standing behind me. He opened the door and frowned at us. " Hey I was about to..to..." He looked at AJ then back to me. "What's that pony doing here and with you?"

I smiled at AJ before replying. "This Applejack... she's a talking pony from a alternative universe." I explained like a dumb-ass.

I tell him we don't know how she got here and she just appeared on my welcome mat yesterday. He didn't seemed all that surprised. "Well what should we do now?" Vince asks I put a hand on my chin for a second then I got an idea.

"How about she stays with me. We teach her how to live here until we can get her home ."

He gave me an unsure glance, but nodded in agreement. "Yeah I don't have a better plan so we could just start there."

I looked at AJ who also gave a nod. "Okay! We got a plan... the only problem is how are we going to get you home AJ?"

We all set there frozen unsure of what to say next until I spoke up. "It doesn't matter how, but I know we can get you home." She smiled and gave me a hug. Once the hug was done we decided to leave Vince and tell him to call us if he gets any news.

We walk back to my house or our house depending on how you looked at it. It was getting late so we hit the hay. I slept on the couch and she took the bed, but before I went to sleep I said something with such determination. "I will get you home AJ I swear on my life! You won't lose your family I promise."
