Chapters A dark purple pony ran down the street panting as she went. Several guards were chasing her. The pegasus's long wavy black mane streamed behind her as she ran.
Have to get away, she thought, there must be somewhere to hide. She ran between stands of flowers and fruit until she found a booth without anypony attending it. The clutsy guards had fell over some barrels of apples. The pony ducked under the stand. She just hoped that her neon green highlight in her mane wouldn't give her away. She saw the big hooves of the guards stomp past.
Fewf, their gone. she had to get out of there. All of the towns ponies knew that there was a 1000 bit reward for her capture. She was a fugitive. Even at her young age of a filly she was already running form the law. She crawled out the back of the booth and started for the forest. She passed a tree with a poster nailed on it.
It read:
Wanted
Razor L Note
Violation: Attempting the Musical Arts and rebelling against Royalty.
Reward!

"Stupid sign." she said ripping it off the tree, "The less of these there are the better." Razornote looked up at the sky. Dark clouds cluttered the sky and moved out any bit of blue that might have once existed. It looked like it was going to rain. She slunk into the forest.
Better find a place to rest. she thought. She looked through the dark forest. There wasn't much shelter anywhere. Come on Note, find something! finally she found a cave deep into the forest. She trotted in. It was cold and damp. There were stalagmites coming up from the floor and stalagmites hanging from the ceiling. Note found an inlet in the wall that was just big enough to crawl into. She knew the King and Queen wouldn't send their guards and patrols this far into the forest. They were afraid of it and they knew that even the most bravest of ponies would shy away from its borders. She fell into a light sleep and hoped that nopony would discover her hiding place.

Razor Note woke up as a faint noise echoed through the cave. It was nothing like she had ever herd before, or had she? It might be, no it couldn't be. She was only a filly when she tried to sing, but, this sound was so familiar. She was compelled to go deeper into the cave. She grabbed a branch from a broken tree and placed it next to two sharp rocks. She picked up one rock with her mouth and hit it against the other.
A spark then flew through the air and fell on the branch. It slowly caught on fire and lit up the cave. Note grabbed it and walked deeper into the cave. The walls were wet and dripping. Wind whistled through the cave as if it was more of a tunnel then a cave. Suddenly the music stopped so she decided to rest and wait until morning to continue. She found a patch of moss and settled down in it. She blew out the torch and fell asleep.

A splash of cave water on her nose woke Razor Note from her slumber. She shook it off and stretched. The floor was cold and wet. Note touched it and shivered as she rubbed her hoof. Just then a sound caught her attention. Hoof steps, no! They are coming after me! She could here the unicorn guard's voices in the dark.
"You really think we should be in here?" one said with an edge of cautiousness in his voice, "It's so dark. We don't know what could be in here."
"Oh, come on! We know she is in here. We saw her hoof prints in the dirt."
Why didn't I cover my tracks? Note thought while face hoofing herself.
She knew she had to get out of there. She could just see the glow of the guards' flashlight spell. She quickly grabbed a stone in her mouth and started hitting it against the other.
It's not working!
"Hey, did you hear that?" one of the guards said, "It came from over here!"
They were coming! What could she do? She bolted out from behind the rock she was crouching under. The guards spotted her.
"Come and get me." Note coaxed.
One of them took a chance and fired at her with his magic. She easily dogged the magic. Then out of nowhere they both started firing at her with all they had. She was running away and trying to dodge the magic lasers that came at her at full speed. She stumbled and fell on the cave floor. She prepared to be captured. A laser hit one of her hooves. The guards hit the other ones also. She was trapped. She couldn't move and knew it was the end of her freedom.
As a tear fell from her eye, her hooves started to glow. She floated up and opened her eyes. They started glowing bright aqua blue. The guards started to yell but no sound came out. You could see the sound waves being pulled from the air and into Razor Note's hooves. A ring of sound formed around her as she stared at the guards. She then hit the ground an a mix of sound and tunes blasted through the cave. The guards were blown out the entrance and the force of the blast even sent Note flying farther into the cave. She hit the ground and was knocked out by the impact.

"Groan," Note woke up drowsily. She moved her hoof slowly up to her head to feel the bump right above her right ear. She sat up and rubbed her head. She realized that she was outside the cave. It seamed to be more of a tunnel then a cave. She heard something. She cocked her head. She looked out of the patch of bushes she fell in. She saw a meadow with flowers and a town in the distance. Sitting in the meadow was a White unicorn with a blue streaked mane. Note crept out of the bushes and over to the unicorn. The white mare turned and looked at the filly through red glasses.
"Hey kid!" She said taking her headphones off her head, "I'v never seen you around, my name's DJ Pon-3 or Vinyl Scratch, take your pick."
Note just sat there poking her hoof in the dirt.
"Whats yours?" Vinyl asked.
"Uh, haven't you seen the wanted posters for my capture?" she asked confused that the unicorn hadn't captured her already.
"What wanted posters? I'm confused, where are you from?"
"I'm from the kingdom of Connacht, isn't that were we are right now?" Note asked confused.
"No, your in Equestria! Ponyville to be exact." Vinyl said thinking that this pony was making a joke or was really weird.
Note knew what must have happened. The cave must have been a tunnel. It lead from kingdom to kingdom and made sure you didn't get lost in the forest. Razor Note decided to explain her story to Vinyl. She seemed nice enough and frankly, she hasn't really had anypony to talk to for a really long time so she kind of let it all out.
"Wow, I'm sorry about your parents, and your life apparently. I wish there was something I could do to help." she pondered a bit, "I know! You can come and live with me!"
"You sure? I don't want to be a bother."
"It's no problem at all! I would like the company, and so would my niece who is living with me." Vinyl said with enthusiasm. With that Vinyl and Note walked to her house and started an adventure neither of them expected.
Vinyl lead Razor Note through Ponyville. It was a nice warm day and everypony was out side playing to running to the grocery store. Note was mesmerized by it all. It was more sunny then Connacht ever was.
She saw a grayish pegasus flying around bumping into things. Suddenly a box fell out of the sky right in front of her. She jumped back. The pegasis clumsily flew down to pick up the box. It was labled muffins and had little bubbles all over it.
"Sorry, I'm really clumsy sometimes." she said, "My name's Derpy Hooves!"
"Uh," Note looked around. She didn't know what to say. Nopony ever came up and introduced themselves to her before. Just then Vinyl trotted up.
"Oh hey Derpy, 'sup!" She said enthusiastically.
"Hey DJ PON3! How are you doing today?" she exclaimed bumping into a stack of hay bales. Vinyl extended a hoof and helped her out, "Thanks, I'm just such a klutz sometimes. So whats your name again?" she said turning to Note.
"I didn't say," she said, almost whispering.
"Oh, well can you tell me?" Derpy asked tilting her head to one side. Her pale yellow mane fell over one of her crossed eyes as she did.
"Oh, um, uh," Note was so lost for words. Normally when she saw other ponies they would call the guards or try to drag her away.
"Her name is Razor Note." Vinyl stepped in. Note was relived.
"Well hi then Razor Note!" Derpy said wobbling a little in excitement over meeting a new pony, "I hope to be seeing you around then!" with that she picked up her box of warm muffins and flew off wobbling back and forth as she did.
That is one odd pony. she thought.
They passed a tree that had a sign out in front of it. The sign read:

Just as she finished reading the sign an explosion came from inside the tree followed by a loud yell of frustration. Then several large bursts of green fire came out of several windows.
"SPIKE! How many times have I told you to leave me alone when I'm working on my chemistry assignments that I gave myself!"
Vinyl and Note both looked over with confused faces.
"Maybe now isn't the best time for me to introduce you to Twilight.
It felt so weird to Razor Note to be walking through a town again.
I just wish it was with my parents. she sighed
She then realized that her hooves were tingling. They felt like they had fallen asleep but oddly enough she could still feel them. She had felt a bit weird since she had woken up in the bush. She knew that something must have happened to her in between when she had been shot with the laser in her hooves from the guard to when she woke up. She just couldn't put her hoof on it.
They passed many other ponies flying around as well as walking. She pondered her coming to this 'Equestria' when they came across a building that looked as if it was made entirely of candy.
"What is that?" Note asked.
"Oh, that is Sugarcube Corner! It is the best sweet shop in town." Vinyl said licking her lips.
"What is a sweet?" Razor Note asked.
"Whats a, you obviously need to get out more! Come on, lets go and have some fun!"
Sugarcube Corner Conundrum
As they walked into Sugarcube Corner Note saw many different ponies sitting at tables eating interesting looking food. She had never seen this kind of eatery before. It looked like no food she had ever seen. It had swirls and interesting designs on the brightly colored surfaces. The smell of the place was tantalizing. It was sweet and reminded her of the faint memories of Connacht before the evil King Seamus and Queen Maeve came into power. It was so odd, even the furniture smelled a sweet scent.
Vinyl walked up to the front where a pink pony with curly hair stood hopping up and down. Her hair was so curly it seamed to be to big for her head. She didn't even stop bouncing to go to the back to check on the oven.
This pony is REALLY energetic. Note thought as the pony hopped back out of the kitchen to come look at the sweets in the display at the counter. Her mouth watered as she looked at the treats. Pinkie looked up at Vinyl and Note.
"Oh, hi DJ Pon3! Who's your friend? Is she new? Can we have a welcome to Ponyville party? Can we,"
Note stumbled back. This pony was filled with a crazy amount of energy, she almost couldn't take it.
"Is she ok? Does she need a treat? How about a Zap Apple cake or a Lemony Sweet cookie! It was Lemon Heart's idea. How about-"
Vinyl stuck her hoof in her mouth.
"No, shes ok. She is new here and isn't used to your energy. Her name is Razor Note!" Vinyl hoped that Note would start introducing herself without her help but she obviously needed time.
"Uhh, hi." Note murmured.
There was an awkward silence.Even Pinkie didn't say anything. Note eyed the Zapapple cakes closely.
"Do you want one of the cakes? I could get it for you!" Pinkie said trying to contain herself.
"Yes please." Note almost whispered.
"Ok, I guess I'll go to the back then." Pinkie said staring at the not-so energetic pegasis.
Note just stood there, not moving, waiting for Pinkie to come back out. The sweet shop was bustling with activity. Ponies sat and talked. Some ponies were stuffing their faces with sweets. Note looked over at the door as it opened and rung. The gray pegasis wobbled in. She looked as if she had been in a lightning storm. Her golden mane was all burnt and messed up. She staggered up to the counter and hit the bell really hard over and over again.
"I hear ya' I hear ya'!" Pinkie yelled from the back. She bounced up to the counter to see Derpy pounding on the poor bell that was mangled and was only making a faint thud noise every time she hit it. Derpy stopped pounding the mangled bell for a second looking at what she was hitting.
"Oops," Derpy said scrunching her nose and derping her eyes, "can I have, um, uh, a um, a Zappapple Cupcake?"
"Sure Derpy! Comi'n right up!" Pinkie said with a smile, "First let me give this young filly her Lemon Cake!" she slid a spongy yellow cake across the counter on some wax paper. "Enjoy!" Pinkie said smiling. Note still was to unsure to reply. She saw Vinyl gesture to a table. She trotted over to the candy coated chair caying the treat in her mouth. She sat down and lay her cake on the table. Unsure, she took a bite of the spongy cake and her eyes widened. She couldn't believe it, this was amazing! She had never eaten something so tasty in her entire life! She shoved her face into the yellow frosting covered cake.
"You like it huh?" Vinyl asked.
Note nodded enthusiastically lifting her head up from the cake. Her purple face was covered in frosting and cake crumbs.
Laughing Vinyl picked up a napkin with her glowing blue magic, "You have a little some thing right there." pointing to her entire face. As Note giggled Vinyl wiped the crumbs from her face.
"May I have another?" she asked looking at the other sweets.
"No not right now. If I let you you would probably eat all of the sweets in Equestria. We need to go see my friend Octavia anyway, lets go!" Vinyl said walking out of the sweet shop. Note followed her out the candy covered door hankering for another new experience.
