Chapter 5: Nightmare's End

When Brock had arrived in the tower he opened the box he had been given and saw a few things. The first was a set of swords with the moon insignia on the sheaths  and a white handle. He unsheathed them and saw a pitch black blade for each and then resheathed them. The second was a deep sea blue colored set of armor with a moon insignia an the chest piece he place the armor over his body and it clicked onto his body like it was made for him exactly. And the third was a black book with a sun AND moon insignia on it with a title that read "Sonsuz elm Tome" which roughly translates to "Tome Of Infinite Knowledge" from an ancient language that is now far beyond comprehensible.

"B-b-but this is hundreds of years, maybe even EONS older than the two princesses! How did she get her hands on it?!" He decided not to question it and immediately opened the book and started reading. Very soon after beginning the first page Brock had heard a sharp magical sound and walked to the window and saw Nightmare warp into the eastern tower and Brock looked closer but couldn't see clearly. "Skull blackas venn....." Brock whispered and his eyes changed color and shape to that of a dragon's. He could see much clearer now he saw twilight sparkle and nightmare moon in the tower. And he heard shouting and then a large thunder like sound. Brock looked closer and saw the elements of harmony shatter. "YES!" Brock nearly screamed as he saw them turn to shards. He felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and fell to the floor. "Oh no.... It cant be... It JUST CANT BE!" He said angrily as he saw the shadows of the other five and a spark of light shoot through twilights eyes. "No they can't be...... Those six PATHETIC GIRLS CANNOT POSSIBLY BE THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY!!!" He shouted and then he heard loud words being spoke in the tower.

"You thought you could destroy the elements of harmony, just like that? Well your wrong, because the SPIRITS of the elements of harmony, are right HERE!" Twilight shouted and the shards lit up. She said a few other things and then the room lit up. Then they stopped and Brock saw a blinding white light shoot from the window and a rainbow fly from the ceiling and crash back down and he could only watch as his thousand year quest had failed and nightmare moon was destroyed, leaving behind only the weak girl luna.

"No.....N-No........ I-I-It c-cant b-be true............. It just CAAAANT!!! I HAVE SPENT ONE THOUSAND YEARS WAITING FOR THIS DAY TO COME AND ALL MY WORK IS LOST BECAUSE OF SIX PATHETIC GIRLS WHO JUST HAPPEN TO BE THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY?!?!!?" Then his eyes shot back to normal and he gasped. "Skull blackas venn" He said aloud..... Nothing happened. "Skull blackas venn." He said angrily.... Again nothing. "SKULL BLACKAS VENN!!!!" He screamed this time and his eyes started to change but then turned back to normal. "So it must be...... My destiny was false...... So be-" he was cut off by a sharp pain shooting into his head. "AAAAAAGH!!!!" He screamed in agony and then fainted. When he awoke he was lying on the floor next to his "gifts from nightmare" then he looked back at the book, closed it, then realized something in the box. It was a white note in black ink.

Brock, if you are reading this it is from Nightmare and i have been defeated by the elements of harmony and luna is free from me. You must go to the eastern tower and retrieve the scraps and pieces of my body and take them into the western watchtower. There will be another note on the throne by the scraps.

He gasped and teleported to the other tower, collected the scraps and pieces and read the note. It was the same paper with the same ink.

Go back to the western tower and leave the shreds and scraps of me there and go retrieve a blood sample from twilight sparkle, a scale from spike the dragon, the remains of my body and a bowl of black tar and return to your home. There will be another note waiting after you have gathered the supplies.

With that he was off. He found the swamp in everfree and collected the bowl of tar, warped back to the tower and placed it there and warped to ponyville. He walked around until he found twilights home and placed a sleep spell on twilight and spike. He yanked a scale off of spike and cut twilight's leg and caught about fifteen drops of blood in a vile. He healed the wound and took off the sleep spell and warped back to the tower and he grabbed the supplies and warped to his home. He started panting heavily from all the teleporting as he sat down and had a very large meal and then warped back to the tower. He grabbed all his gifts and place them in the box and warped back to his home. He hung the two swords in an X shape above his fireplace, placed the armor on a unicorn mannequin, and placed the book on his desk. He found the note stuck to his desk and grabbed and read it.

Now you have all the ingredients you must place them all in a large bowl EXCEPT the shreds of my remains. That means ONLY the tar, blood, and scale. Once this is done add some sulfur to the mix and use your magic to liquify the scale and sulfur. Now stir the ingredients together. Then electrify the mix of liquids and stir until the electricity has diversed. Once done, flatten the scrapes of my remains and pour the electrified mix onto each piece one by one EXTREMELY slowly. Now go back to the throne room of my castle and there will be a key on top of the throne seat along with another note.

Brock sighed but did as told. he read the note.

Pick up the key, turn around and take 15 steps forward, then take 10 steps to the left. There will be a wall with a keyhole, place the key in the wall and it will move inward and slide to the side.

He did everything in order and the wall moved. What he saw nearly brought him to tears. He saw an alter with a black alicorn mannequin with a full set of Nightmare's armor and a pedestal in front of it with a book on it....... And another note on the book.

Take the book, read it, use the spell inside, and take the mannequin back to your house. Then when there take the shreds and place them over the open spots of the mannequin's body and electrify the mannequin.

He did everything in order as he read the note. After he read the book and casted the spell he grew taller and grew wings. Then he shocked the mannequin and equipped the armor and swords. He was a full grown Alicorn with a set of Nightmare's armor equipped with to longswords clipped to his sides. He watched as the mannequin started to move and flex.

"D-D-Did i just..... REVIVE NIGHTMARE MOON AGIAN?!?!?!" Brock thought to himself and became giddy with excitement. And then he saw another note out of the corner of his eye.

When i am revived i will not be the same Nightmare Moon. i will be....... good. And you WILL OBEY MY EVERY COMMAND. I will still have my memory but i will have no reason to bring about endless night anymore and i will be free from the curses of anger and hatred.

Brock gasped and then smiled as a tear came to his eye. He turned and faced Nightmare. Her eyes were closed.

"Arck pon gorin ill finullen va kein vol" Brock said to himself. His entire body changed to be an exact replica of nightmare's exept he was a man. Nightmare opened her eyes and smiled at him.

"Im back" She said and grabbed his hand. Then the two walked into ponyville together, smiling the whole way.
