The day after the night before

Chapter 3

Tell the others.

“So Fluttershy when are we going to tell the others about….us?” Rainbow was still snuggled into Fluttershys chest.

“I really don’t know dash. What do you think they will say?” Fluttershy tightened her grip on Rainbow.

“They have been our friends since we moved here from Cloudsdale, I’m sure they will be fine with us being… you know…fillyfoolers.” Rainbow was now looking at Fluttershy with a serious look on her face.

“Your right but I still think we should wait a while before we tell them.” Rainbow was still looking at Fluttershy with a serious look until Fluttershy looked up to her, now blushing slightly, obviously considering the consequences of letting their friends know about this. "If you are sure they wouldn't think any different of us, then it would be a relief to not have to hide this around them."

“When should we tell them?” Rainbow was edging closer and closer to Fluttershy.

“Well, maybe then next time we see them” Fluttershy was only just inches away from Rainbows lips when….

*Knock Knock*

Fluttershy groans “Ugh, Ok, I better go see who it is” She glides her way down the stairs of the cloud house.

Fluttershy opens the door to see her scientifically enhanced friend Twilight

“Oh, hello Fluttershy. How are you? And more importantly why are you in Rainbows house and….” Twilight sniffs a little “…Why do you smell of Rainbow Dash?” She was now staring into the timid Pegasus’ eyes.

“Well… maybe you should come inside so we can talk” Fluttershy hurried over to the couch “Take a seat” She pointed to the reclining chair that was obviously the one that had been used the most. “Let me go get Rainbow” She hurried back up the stairs and back into the room where Rainbow and she had slept.

“Hey Shy, Who was it?” Rainbow didn’t look too worried about the whole situation they were in.

“It’s Twilight and she’s waiting on the couch downstairs waiting for a reason for why I’m in your house and why I smell of you!” Fluttershys breathing pace had increased obviously panicking.

“It’s ok shy, just calm down please, we can work this out together, ok?” Rainbow was giving Fluttershy a reassuring smile that almost instantly calmed her down.

“Ok. We should go tell her, She will be wondering where I got off too” Fluttershy walked slowly out of Rainbows bed room with her new partner in close proximity. The hallway to the sitting area seemed to have become longer since she was last in it. Fluttershy now wasn’t looking so confident.

“It’ll be ok shy, she will understand.” Rainbow nuzzled Fluttershys neck.

Fluttershy gives a little smile to Rainbow and continues her way down the hallway and made her way down the stairs.

“Oh, hello Rainbow” Twilight was now smirking at her. “So, enjoy your night out.” She give a very obvious eye wink to Rainbow.

“Shut up twilight. We have something to say…… we are……” Rainbow was cut off by the impatient princess.

“In a relationship.” Twilights smile was now bigger than ever.

“How did you know?” Fluttershy was not moving her eyes off Twilight.

“Well it was a bit obvious after your little make out session” Twilight was on the edge of laughter.

“We WHAT!” Rainbow was now in a huge panic.

“Calm down Rainbow. Me and pinkie were at it too, I think Rarity and Applejack” Twilight just giggled at the looks on Rainbow dash and Fluttershys face.
