Paragons

We quickly found out that we didn't need directions, at the height we were at we could see Ponyville in the distance. Rayne was over excited in the fact he now had wings and this led to an argument of who was the wingman. We also took note of each other's cutie marks, Rayne had a silver ring that was on an angle that it looks like a halo ring... Although it had a distinct aura around it... Maybe something more? My cutie mark was the paragon symbol from Mass Effect. We landed outside of town and took our time walking in.

"Sooooo, what are we gonna do" asked Rayne "Well, I don't know really, I figured we find the smartest pony in town, Twilight, and see what we kind find out about what happened" I replied. He didn't replied which forced me to stop walking and turn around, he actually stopped a few feet back and was staring at something. "Hey, Rayne, what's going on?" I whispered in his ear, I waved my hoof in his face which brought him back. "Huh, wha...what?"

"What'cha staring at?" I asked, he avoided eye contact with me and said nervously, "Nothing." I looked in the direction he was looking and lord and behold at a stand in the nearby market was the one and only Fluttershy. She was buying some fruit, and was pulling some money out of her pack. "Oh I see, got a little distracted did we hmm?" Rayne then gave me his 'shut up' face, which at that I decide to stop messing with him.

"Don't worry you'll see her later tonight" I said matter-of-factly. Rayne then gave me a questioning look "What do you mean by that?" He asked. I pointed behind him and he turned around, and he came face to face with that crazy pink mare Pinkie Pie. I swear Rayne jumped 10 feet in the air without the help of his wings. Not only because Pinkie was right up in his face, she also had a smile plastered on her face that I didn't think was possible.

Rayne came back down slowly floating down on his wings, Pinkie just sat there staring at us. That smile was really getting to me, before I could say anything she jumped up in the air floated there and let out a load gasp and was gone in a flash. I looked over to Rayne "You know what this means right?" Rayne looked at me with a excited look and we both said "PARTAY!" At the same time. Other ponies were looking at us weird and so we decide to go do something until the party starts.
