Darkness

THUMP THUMP THUMP shaking awake it stood breathing in fresh air of a frozen northern climate looking around it saw nothing but snow and rocks looking down it saw that it was on a cliff with a sheer drop. Cocking its head to the side it stepped off the side landing and creating a small crater looking up it saw a small caravan stepping out the creature was met with the sight of a anthro pony running up it could tell that this pony was 23 years old and female smiling she said "Hello you must be freezing here come with me !!"

Looking down it was reminded that it was in a short sleeved black shirt and long blue jeans with white vans looking up it saw the mare with three others waving him over. Smiling it turned the inner part of its hand into a knife walking up it slit two of the ponies throats consuming them and gaining there memories looking at the blue mare it said "Thanks for the food." turning to run she felt a sharp pain run through her lower stomach looking down she saw what looked to be a spear head in her stomach before she was violently yank back being consumed turning her black coat and pants into its own sighing it turned eyeing the other cars smiling it said "Still a bit hungry."

Walking forward it took of the mare walking into the first car seeing three ponies sitting around the table and eating shutting the door behind it the ponies invited it to eat. Smiling it walked foreword hands behind its back turning into small swords eyeing the ponies two were young children a girl and boy the other an middle age stallion. The car shook a little with screams of terror and horror after a few seconds it walked out looking around blood dripped down its fingers lifting one arm it licked its fingers humming with delight "These ponies taste oh so good now lets see what this Crystal Empire is like." walking up to a snow mobile hitched to a truck it ripped of the lock and began to set up the machine after a few minutes it started the engine and raced off to its new hunting ground.

(Ponyville week and a half later)

Walking through the streets Fluttershy felt happier than she had ever felt in her life going up to her friend AJ she smiled saying "Afternoon Aj how are you ?"

"Good good hey Fluttershy how are you and Ray doing ?"

"Fine we had a good week together." Fluttershy thought remember her week with her colt friend both spent quite a lot of time together enjoying the 'scenery' "Why do you ask ?"

"How about we talk about this later today is that okay ?" AJ asked looking around then back at the butter yellow mare smiling she nodded and gave her friend a hug "I think i know what your gonna ask."

Backing away Fluttershy went about her business hearing some ponies talk about the crystal empire and the phantom killer and how its death tole had reached 32 ponies the princesses don't know who or what is doing this. Walking around she ran into Ray looking up at him she said "Oh hello Ray how are you ?"

"Good how about you honey ?" Ray asked giving her a quick kiss on the lips causing the mare to blush and look around "Let them look Flutters they're just jealous."

"I have something to tell you do you mind if we go to Sugar Cube Corner."

"Sure." Ray said turning to the direction the cafe was in offering his arm to Fluttershy smiling the two walked away.
