(Three weeks)

Ray looked around he was standing in an amazing city It seemed to gleam like crystal walking around Ray noticed the emptiness of this city moving around he began to look around city. Walking fore ward Ray felt the ground underneath his feet change looking down he noticed blood and a lot of it flowing slowly down the pavement jerking up he heard a noise coming from further down the street following the noise he heard. "One two three four, how many more can I cure ?" a voice sang out going around a corner Ray saw the shadow of someone leaning over the bodies over multiple bodies grabbing a piece a body it lifted it up "Now what all my toys are broken." turning the shadow looked to Ray his body going rigid with something he hadn't felt in years..............fear "How about you would you like to play ?"

Jolting awake Ray was breathing heavily looking around he saw that he was back in his house looking down he saw Fluttershy sleeping next to him peacefully sighing he laid back down next to her pulling her closer to him hearing her hum in satisfaction. Staring at the ceiling he began to wonder what he just saw all he could think was that the voice of that thing sounded familiar sighing he tried to fall asleep.

KNOCK KNOCK

Sitting up Ray put on a shirt making his way over to the door he opened the door to see Twilight smiling at him Ray said "Hey Twi whats up ?"

"Oh well I just got a letter from my sister in law she wants us to go to the crystal empire to look at a string up murders."

"So you came for Fluttershy ?"

"Yes and no I came for both you and Fluttershy my sister in law things that you can help and I said you may be able to."

"I've never solved a murder but maybe I could give it a shot."

"Alright we leave in an hour."

"Sounds good we'll meet you guys at the station." Ray said waving to Twilight as she left turning he went to wake up Fluttershy to tell her the news only to see her standing in the door way wearing only an over sized shirt that came down to he mid thigh smiling she said "So we have a adventure coming our way ?"

"I guess we do so we should probably pack."

"Yes we should get to that." Fluttershy said sultry as she walked over to him swinging her hips smiling Ray walked over to her picking her up and kissing her deeply.

(55 minutes later)

Ray carried both his and Fluttershy's luggage as they went to the train station to meet their friends walking up to them Ray said "So we ready to go ?"

"Yeah we've been ready since like 30 minutes ago !" Rainbow said in an agitated tone crossing her arms chuckling Ray said "Well we made it so lets go."

(Crystal empire)

Walking through the streets it looked around sniffing the air it smiled "I found a new plaything." walking up to a guard pony it said "Hey their big guy you look pretty lonely whats your name ?" turning the stallion chuckled looking over the body he smiled "The names Flash Sentry whats yours ?"

"Just call me Gleaming Crystal big boy."

"Haha sure thing cutie." He said leaning onto a post a little for support it and Flash began to have a conversation not realizing where it was going or what it was leading him to after an hour of talking it said "So how about we go back to my place ?"

"Sounds fun."

"Oh it will be." it said smiling devilishly moving foreward it grabbed his arm and began to guide him to its place of residence smiling about all the 'fun' they would be having.

(1 hour later)

Looking over the once more it frowned slapping the dead guard it pouted "Ahhhh no fun you didn't last more than an hour." looking down it noticed the blood that had pooled underneath the corpse sighing it stuck its finger into the blood absorbing all it had to offer smiling it said "Ahhhh so the princess called for help............Ray oh what fun it will be having you back !" cackling madly it began to feed off the guards corpse enjoying the test of his flesh as she ripped a piece from his neck.

(Train)
'That voice I remember it but from where ?' Ray thought deeply thinking back to his nightmare sighing he looked out the window to see the white landscape of the north moving past with only the flow of the land changing. Feeling someone tap his shoulder he turned to see Fluttershy looking up at him with a worried look "A-are you o-okay ?"

"Yeah Flutters I'm fine just wondering what's going on in the empire."

"Y-y-yeah but the face you were-"

"Don't worry Fluttershy I wouldn't mislead you i'm fine just thinking."

"O-okay...........i'm worried to the princess thinks a serial killer is on the loose."

"Don't worry i'll protect you girls."

"I know but it doesn't stop me from being scared."

"I know but i'll be there for you through thick and thin."

"Good............now we have a serious discussion."

"Hmmmm whats that mean Flutters ?"

"Oh you'll find out." Fluttershy said smiling at him as she began explaining the serious discussion.
